THE "BAY HOUSE" IS AN AMAZING HOME TUCKED AWAY ON A SECLUDED WATERFRONT ENCLAVE. 2 MASTER SUITES, PRIVATE UPPER DECK/15 MIN. FROM GG BRIDGE, 45 MIN. FROM NAPA. BREATHTAKING VIEWS, LOCATED ON THE BAY! MAX. 4 GUESTS-ALL GUESTS MUST BE IDENTIFIED AT BOOKING. ENTIRE PROPERTY IS NON-SMOKING. NO PETS. CHILDREN 12 yrs and older only. Not suitable for kids under 12. MANY STEPS FROM STREET TO PROPERTY / NO DISABLED ACCESS. The soothing sound of waves, spectacular view of the bay & Marin Islands and gorgeously decorated home situated on a private beach, is the perfect getaway for a wonderful vacation! It's fully stocked for all your needs and has limited private parking spaces. The scenery will take your breath away and you'll absolutely love how beautiful this home is. Each Master Bedroom has a Master Bathroom and a magnificent view from practically every part of the home. The home will accommodate a maximum of 4 people, (no children under the age of 12 are allowed, as this home is not suitable for children - please, no exceptions). No sleeping on the furniture or floor. Only guests who have booked the home will be allowed at the property. There is Bay access from the home, however, the lower deck is for use by the Bungalow guests only. Guests of the 2-Bedroom home have a lovely, large private deck off the dining room. This home is a 2-level structure. There is a Bungalow on the lower level with a completely separate entrance. The Bungalow is a Studio and only occupied by a maximum of 2 guests. It is not shared with the home, completely separate entrances. ***PLEASE NOTE*** If you are looking for a “PARTY HOUSE", unfortunately this property will not suit your needs. While we certainly encourage our guests to enjoy themselves...we must also insist that no one in the area is disturbed by excessive or loud noise, partying, drinking or any type of behavior that would prevent neighbors from a peaceful enjoyment of their homes before or after "reasonable hours". THIS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY, (Smoking not allowed anywhere including patios, decks, walkways, stairs, beach area or any part of the property - smokers must go to the sidewalk away from the property). Theere The Fireplace is decorative only. No BBQ's, Grills, or FIRES of any kind allowed at this property, including on the Bay. There is no A/C unit in this home, however, stand-up fans are provided. NO PETS. GARDENERS come on SATURDAYS and arrive anytime between 10am-5pm. ALSO, NO DRUGS OR WEAPONS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED. ALL PROPERTY RULES STRICTLY ENFORCED. Thank You. ***Washer & Dryer available for stays over 4 nights, however Housekeeper has 1st priority. Guests staying over 4 nights must check with Property Manager to arrange use of Laundry facility.*** Thank You. The views were breathtaking. Marks home had everything you need, soft sheets, clean and fresh towels, well appointed kitchen, and room to relax on the deck or living room. Mona was wonderful with communication and answered all of my questions.

If you want a central location for exploring San Francisco and
Mendocino, there is no better location. We explored all over the Bay Area, always delighted to return to San Rafael and this great house. Two master bedrooms with luxurious en-suite baths were perfect in every way.
Multiple fluffy white towels, oh so comfy bed linens, and comfy beds made us fell like we were staying in a five star hotel.
Manager, Mona, was there for us for every need - we could not get TVs to work on first day and she walked us through necessary steps. If you rent this home, know that you need to turn bedroom wall light on for the bedroom tv to work.
We highly recommend this VRBO gem!

I have been attending conferences nearby and now stayed at this property 5x! I stay with a colleague and we each have our own privacy with a master bedroom/bathroom. It is absolutely lovely, so clean and well put together. Amazing views, falling asleep to the sound of the water each night. It feels like a little getaway when we return each day from the conference. The kitchen, living room, amenities in general are great and make it easy to get comfortable quickly. I have already recommended this property to colleagues who travel nearby for conferences because it is wonderful and I want others to get to experience it. I will definitely return whenever I am in the area. Mark is a lovely owner, very accommodating and flexible, as his manager, Mona. I give this property my highest recommendation

Loved the location and view. It was wonderful to hear the sound of the water at night. Plenty of room for two couples. Close to Muir Woods and the ferry to San Francisco.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was great location for us to spend the day in Napa, hike in Muir Woods, and sight see San Fran city. The house was perfect for two couples with two master suites. The view was gorgeous and the neighborhood was so quiet! Perfect place and would definitely book it again! You will not regret staying here! We did not cook so I did not pay much attention to pots/pans, but it had a coffee maker with coffee, cream, sugar and they even left granola/protein bars. Fans, iron and hairdryers provided!

At the risk of sounding gushy we loved this stay! Not only was the house beautiful and cozy but the private beach was the icing on the cake! We are sea glass hunters and we found so much sea glass it was amazing. We were touring the San Francisco area but we made it a point to be back for low tide and walk the beach. The house was private and well equipped. I can't say enough good things about it!

The place is gorgeous and just what we needed, a break from city life. The kitchen is smaller than I expected but just fine for our purposes (we made pizzas and some other meals). Well equipped. The bathrooms were luxurious, the master had a view of the Bay which was super nice for soaking in the beautiful tub. The only thing that was a very minor minus was being able to hear the downstairs guests having a regular conversation / watching TV below us while we were sleeping (I.e. they weren’t shouting or anything loud, but the insulation was a little thin in that one spot (the master suite).
Also for others staying make sure you bring a charger for your devices as there aren’t any USB or similar updated outlets in the house.
We found a puzzle in the living room that we completed while there :)
It was nice to unplug and relax for a few days. The rising and ebbing tide was mesmerizing. Thank you!

The house was lovely, clean, and had interesting artwork throughout. We stayed two nights with another couple and, while we truly enjoyed the lovely spot on the water, it was a pretty warm week for this area and the house does not have any form of AC. I think most times of the year this would be no problem, but I wanted to make sure potential travelers were aware as it wasn’t mentioned in the listing but was highlighted in the literature at the property.

Enjoyed our stay at this bayside residence. The house was clean and relaxing. There are a number of stairs down to the property which was completely fine by us, I just overlooked this when reading about the listing and it made for a trek with all of our luggage and backpacking gear. :) Totally worth it though for this view. Would definitely stay again!!

My friends and I stayed at this property during Bottlerock Weekend in Napa so we didn’t spend a ton of time there but we enjoyed having breakfast on the patio in the morning before the concert and listening to the waves as the property is right on the water! There’s plenty of space for 4 people to spread out comfortably. The property is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Mona was very responsive and helpful. I sincerely appreciate her efforts. Would definitely book this place again!

I can’t say enough great things about our experience at the Bay House. Communication was excellent, and directions/instructions were clear. Everything in the house was luxurious - linens, towels, soap - the kitchen was well stocked with utinsels and pans - even the iron was great! We had everything we needed. The bathrooms are humongous, the furniture and artwork beautiful, beds extremely comfortable, and the view can’t be beat. Exactly as described and then some.
It was an easy drive into San Francisco, taking 25-50 minutes depending on time of day/traffic - very accessible, but far enough away that you get to relax and unwind.
Thanks, Mark and Mona, for making our trip so great. I hope we have an opportunity to be back at some point!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bay House. The home is very spacious, perhaps more so than the pictures can convey, lots of natural light, and all the right amenities to make sure everyone can be comfortable (blinds, ventilation, blankets, etc). We came from the East via plane and were very pleased not to need shampoo, soap, paper goods, it was all there. The view was stunning, including nearly full moon each night we stayed. I would recommend this property without any hesitation, and would love to return some day. As for the overall location, the neighborhood was delightfully quiet, and the people we saw were super friendly. Definitely loved walking to Andy's Market, and around the marina. We drove the few miles over to McNear's Beach/China Camp and hiked around there. We took the ferry from Larkspur into the Port of San Francisco to spend the day in the city, all easy and convenient. We also visited Muir Woods, Stinson Beach and Point Reyes. Couldn't be a better spot.

What a beautiful home in an idyllic setting!
We would return here in an heartbeat.
Just a heads up if staying in the master suite: There is a separate studio below ( with a separate entrance etc) but you do hear everything from the occupants below, conversations etc…
However if you stay in the other bedroom, you only hear the lapping of the water which is heavenly. Both suites have exceptionally comfortable beds with super soft, high quality sheets and comfy pillows. The bathrooms in both suites are gorgeous and spacious!
The kitchen is adorable and has everything you need with beautiful plates and mugs which we really appreciated.
The huge deck overlooking the Bay is stunning and the perfect place to sip your morning coffee/tea .
Overall we had a wonderful stay!
