House was very clean and comfortable beds. Well-stocked. The only complaint was the dishwasher was not really functioning properly but it was very minor

Eight of us comfortably fit in this home. Nicely isolated location and fairly close to the park. One thing to note is the water heater is on a timer. A bit of a surprise, but not a big issue. Would go back!

We enjoyed our stay in this house. I will say it is apparent this house gets a lot of guests through it. It is well stocked with paper supplies, kitchen needs, linens, games, and toys for kids. We brought food with us and we had all we needed for our stay. We were disappointed we didn't see any wildlife except a squirrel and hummingbird. The property is not in perfect condition but having guests in and out can account for some of the defects.

We had an amazing time, this place is beautiful. Fully stocked with all the necessities. The stars are amazing from the house, the wifi is ok, it's much better with a hot spot.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable! It was very close to the GrandCanyon which was perfect. The dark sky was so cool- you could see the Milky Way from the deck! Trish was very responsive with the couple questions we had. A definite stay again! Thanks!

We had a great stay in a beautiful home. Very quiet and relaxing.

Re-reading the listing after staying here, it's clear to me that it's been written by a professional property manager or real estate agent. We did enjoy our stay, yes, and Trish was responsive and gracious about questions & concerns - HOWEVER the quality and attention to detail were sadly significantly below what I had hoped, which was particularly disappointing since I was booking with my 80 year old parents :-(
A few examples:
- "hair dryer included" meant literally one hair dryer (that is, in one of 3 bathrooms)
- entryway stairs are in disrepair and a very literally disintegrating outdoor mat are hazardous for anyone, but especially anyone with *any* mobility issues
- there were (unmarked) dead outlets in the kitchen and unusable fans in some bedrooms
- kitchen might be "well stocked" in terms of literal items available for use but the chaos with which they're stored added frustration and limited the kitchen's usability.....
And there's more, but my purpose isn't to blast this listing so much as to say you should know what you're paying for. This is a windswept, rather-dated ranch house in the middle of pretty much nowhere (yes, there's a convenience store 5-10 minutes away but not more than that for 30 minutes) with all the basics covered, brand new washer/dryer, comfortable living room sitting areas, a great remote location close to the Grand Canyon, and incredible stargazing...but don't expect refinement.

We had a great stay. My son does think he left his favorite baseball hat between the bed and the wall. I’d pay to have it sent back. Thanks!

Went here for a birthday weekend with 9 people. Nice place - clean, well equipped, large, 25 minutes from Grand Canyon and 30 minutes from Williams. Host super helpful and accommodating! Go grocery shopping in Williams on your way in.

We had a great experience in this comfortably equipped 4BR (+ one room with small fokdout bed) house about equidistant between Williams and the South Rim. The hodts eere gracious and responsive as well. Highly recommended.

Spent a few nights for Thanksgiving at the property with my family and it was a very wonderful location. We found the many rooms to be very accommodating for a larger group like ourselves. Had a very nice time stargazing at night and having some peace and quiet, away from the city.
Truly a wonderful stay and we'd love to visit again in the future.

Could not have been a better location for our family of 11 as we visited the Grand Canyon! Lots of space, large kitchen table, two coffee pots, well stocked.
Owner was helpful in providing tips on where to shop for groceries. She was also responsive to questions we had about her property. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable and had everything that we needed.

The location of this house is perfect for a visit to the Grand Canyon because the drive to the entrance of the Grand Canyon is only 25 minutes. The house is very secluded, it’s very quiet during the day and at night. A perfect setting to relax.
We were with a group of 12 and there was more than enough space to accommodate everyone. We cooked our own meals and this house had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. We struggled with the oven. In the end we put the meat on the BBQ and that worked for us.
You can see that this is an older home, it might need an upgrade here and there, but the location makes up for that. My only comment would be that it needs better cleaning.
Overall we enjoyed the house

We had a great weekend getaway. The host was quick to respond to questions and provided helpful information such as where to stop to pick up groceries on the way. We really enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and the beautiful night sky. An unexpected plus was there were toys and couch/mat for kids that our toddler loved!

If you're on the fence about booking this property, just do it! We spent a week at the house and there were 7 of us total. We had more than enough room for everyone and tons of essentials that we needed were already there - just bring food! (Although we did make use of some of the pantry items from previous guests.)
The kitchen and dining area was my favorite part - huge, specious kitchen with a giant island and large table made dinners a breeze. We had everything we needed for cooking!
Do note that the refrigerator does not have an ice maker, so jump on the ice cube trays as soon as you arrive so you can build up your supply, or grab a bag of ice on the way in to supplement that. We stayed on top of it though and never ran out of ice.
This location is great if you're wanting more than a hotel. It was a quick 30/35 minute trek into the Park each morning, but not a bad one at all. Definitely much better than staying all the way back in Williams would have been!
If you are a light sensitive sleeper, it is noteworthy that there are no curtains on the windows, only miniblinds, so if the morning light wakes you up be prepared for that ahead of time. It worked out ok for us because we needed to be up early to get into the park before the heat, but just something to be aware of.
Something else I'm weird about when I travel: the shower pressure was excellent! (Nothing worse than a weak shower when you're sweaty and tired, am I right?)
We enjoyed nights sitting out on the spacious deck and had plenty of yard for frisbee tossing. We saw a jackrabbit and had a couple of lizard visitors, but saw no other wildlife (cute or scary).
If we visit the Grand Canyon again this is definitely on my list of places I would return to!

Would highly recommend this property for families wanting to visit the GC south rim area. You won’t find closer accommodations for a family. Lots of room and a beautiful night sky!

This rental is in a very private area. The accommodations were great. The house was very clean and so comfortable. They had everything we needed including spices, paper products, soap, laundry detergent. Way more necessities than other VRBO's.

We rented this home because of the great location being near the Grand Canyon. This home was perfect as my daughter was getting married at the Grand Canyon. It was everything we needed and more. The owner is wonderful to work with and was very kind and helpful. We had a few layovers with flights and were going to arrive very late. I called the owner and she went to the house to turn the lights on so we could see. She also texted to make sure we arrived ok. The home had plenty of room for our party of 9 and was very comfortable and homey.

We had such a wonderful stay in this lovely property during a family trip (myself, my husband, and our three teenagers). The home is spacious and comfortable, and we really appreciated the space to relax and rest after hiking and exploring the Grand Canyon (the kids also loved having the 4 roku tvs and access to wifi!). We followed Trish’s directions, and had no trouble finding the house (be prepared for a short drive on a dirt road). We also took her advice to stop at the grocery store in Williams to stock up on our way to the house. We loved this property and would stay here again if we ever make it back to the area!

Property is spacious, very clean, and was the perfect spot to serve as our base while seeing the Grand Canyon. The house is secluded, which we enjoyed. The firepit was great for star gazing and spending family time. Trish is a great host, and we will definitely stay at this home again if we come back!

Felt like we were right at home with all my kids under one roof with home cooked meals instead of spread out in hotel rooms and eating out 3 meals/day. This is the place to stay!

Close to south rim entrance. Lots of activities to do at night for all ages. Clean home.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. Peace and quiet. Morning sunrise outside looking at snow covered mountain. Late afternoon fire looking at red mountain. Had a herd of antelope walk by the yard. Stars were amazing! Sleeping room for everyone! Close to Grand Canyon. House was equipped with everything we needed. Hostess very responsive with questions and very easy to work with. We missed our check in day as it was a blizzard. She checked in with me before I was able to reach out to explain our situation. So thoughtful. The weather was crazy when we stayed, we saw snow, melting day and rain. House was roomy and comfy. We would stay here again! And my extended family is looking at making reservations soon!

The location was great. While the house was as described and clean, we had a few issues. When we checked in, and unloaded our cooler, the fridge was warm. We gave it some time, but it did not cool down. Additionally, there was no hot water in the kitchen. The bathrooms would get Luke warm, but only after running the water for over 10 minutes. We finally called the owner as we were traveling with young children and an infant. She seemed annoyed with our call and didn’t seem to believe me or offer much of a resolution other then the fridge was new and shouldn’t be broken. She said she would reset the water heater and that was the last we heard from her.
We pulled everything out of the fridge and put it back in our coolers and turned the temperature as high as it would go. It cooled off enough to put some of our stuff back in. The water in the kitchen never got even close to warm.
We never received any follow up from the owner other then our checkout email stating that we needed to do as much laundry as possible (even though we paid a cleaning fee) and was curious how the water and fridge worked out. At that point, we were checking out and it was not helpful or worth the time to mention it. Hopefully these issues have been resolved as the location and house itself were nice.

We had 12 people staying here this weekend and it worked perfectly for a trip to the Grand Canyon. It was about 20 min into town, 30 min to the trailheads, and an hour to Flagstaff. I would recommend getting groceries for your stay well before getting there (options within 45 min are limited and expensive). The house is spacious enough for a large group, but some bed situations are nicer than others. We had one person on a couch, one on a pull-away bed, two on their own pull-out couch, and the rest sharing beds ranging from full to king size. Everything was very clean and it was so nice to have a porch, grill, and fire pit. We will definitely consider staying here again if we plan another trip to the Grand Canyon.

It was great being a fairly short drive from Grand Canyon. Every night when we went home we were very glad we didn't need to drive to Williams.
The house was clean, lots of space. It was nice being able to cook dinner. Good for relaxing after busy days. Sunset view from the house was also nice, and lots of stars at night.

It was a great place overall. Had problems with watching Hulu/Netflix because it would stop and keep buffering.
I heard from the host only through the original email.

The home was perfect for the space and what we were looking for. Well stocked home and the location to the South Rim was great. The power went out our first night for about 10 hours but Trish was super helpful in getting us set up(locating flashlites, lighters, candles, etc) The power outage was a rare thing as a transformer went out so its not typical. I would highly recommend this home to anyone seeking accomodations for larger groups and you will have privacy, space. If we are ever in the area again I will be booking this home! Thanks Trish!

Great outdoor location for quiet get-away close to Grand Canyon South entrance. Clean and comfortable. Best word is that we will return and stay again during our future trips west.

Well-stocked, comfortable house, about 25 minute drive to the Grand Canyon Visitors Center. Quiet location, nice common areas for hanging out in the evenings, bedrooms were comfortable. It looks just like the photos.

Location was close enough to Grand Canyon (about 30 minutes) and place was clean. We enjoyed time on the deck.

This was the cleanest home we have ever stayed. Stocked with not just essentials but spices, shampoo, conditioner and more. Plenty of extra towels, sheets and blankets, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, coffee filters and more. Very large house for 9 of us. Four large bedrooms. One small bedroom. Three bathrooms. Large firepit with seating. Everything worked. Very large new washer and dryer. Just perfect !!!!. Can't say enough. It was perfect. About 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon entrance. Short drive to gas station and small convenience store. About 30 minutes to Bearizona, which was great fun.

We really enjoyed our stay - the home is spacious on the inside and we really liked relaxing on the porch and watching the sunsets in the evening. The property manager was great - she was very responsive and made sure we had a great time. Thank you Trish!
