Situated in Rockbridge County, this attractive cabin for £161 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. In the Shenandoah Valley with magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains we offer comfortable log cabins situated in a pasture overlooking Lazy Acres Equestrian Center. Just 2 miles from the Virginia Horse Center, the east coast's biggest horse event park with shows going on all year, and 5 m from historical Lexington's fine restaurants and shops. 5 miles to Washington & Lee and VMI Campuses. Relax on the porch with one of the best views in Rockbridge County, surrounded by fields of horses. In the cabin on the ground floor there is a king size bedroom, a full size fouton in the living room and the kitchen and bathroom with washer/dryer. A spiral staircase to the loft has two single beds and a balcony. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need to make your stay carefree. A couple of miles away the river meanders with the road at Goshen Pass, an amazing gorge with swimming holes and great fishing and hiking, one of the counties unspoiled treasures. We have stables and turnout available for your horses. Come on vacation with your horses. Boarding available. The huge arena is available for rent for clinics or shows. The cabin was beautiful and very welcoming. It had all of the comforts of home. We're a farm loving family and being on a working ranch with cows and horses was a great plus. The sunrises every morning was amazing to watch as it rose over the mountain top. We would love to spend another long weekend here during the spring or fall in the coming future.

My 12 year old daughter and I stayed here for a horse show at the Virginia Horse Center. Location was absolutely ideal, close to the horse center and Lexington but private and relaxing.
Gorgeous views of the working horse farm and mountains. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. Amanda was helpful, responsive, and the perfect host. She even turned the lights on for us when we let her know we'd be arriving late on check in. We will definitely be back!!!

The cabin was clean, well stocked and comfortable. My favorite place was sitting on the large porch. The outdoor experience is that of rolling hills, fresh air, working farm, deers and birds. Many attractions nearby.

Our family of 5 greatly enjoyed our time at the cabin! It is charming and so relaxing, set amongst the rolling hills and overlooking pastures. We were in town for graduation at W&L and appreciated having the deck to grill out with family. Highly recommend this sweet cabin and the hosts.

We came home to Rockbridge to celebrate Christmas with family. I'm a Rockbridge native and my husband a VMI Grad. We live in the Atlanta, GA area now and rarely make it home to visit. The cabin, the farm, the sunsets, the night sky, and the peace and quiet were just what we needed! We're thankful that our two dogs were welcome as well. Our adult children came along and caught up with old classmates in town and then enjoyed the peace and quiet at the cabin. We love horses and were greeted by them at the fence in the morning and afternoons. They were very sweet and enjoyed the carrots and apples we fed them. The home was clean, cozy, and lit up for the Christmas Holiday. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. Can't wait to return.

My children and I had an amazing stay at Amanda’s cabin. There was plenty of space for myself and my children to feel comfortable and enjoy our time. Even on a rainy day, we hung out on the covered porch and enjoyed ourselves. We also loved getting a tour of the property from Amanda and being up close to the horses and cattle. Perfect getaway!

The cabin had everything we needed and we enjoyed taking our dog for walks on the property, and catching the view from the top of the hill.

Beautiful spot to spend the weekend. Cabins are cozy and have all you need, the views and nearby horses add extra fun for the little ones. Close to cute downtown Lexington and a bunch of great hikes. We will be back, thank you Amanda!!

We had such an amazing trip! We loved visiting with the horses and cows and just sitting out on the porch playing cards. The views were amazing and the owners were so friendly. My daughter loved fishing at the pond. The cabins were clean and had everything you would need. We plan to come back next year!
