PROPERTY INFORMATION: This waterfront luxury condo is located at Mangrove Dock Condos on Mangrove Bight in West End. It is conveniently located in a safe, quiet area of West End. There is no need for a car! It is a 2 minute walk to bars, restaurants, Dive Shops, and Half Moon Bay Beach (where the famous Sundowners Bar is located), and a less than 10 minute boat ride to West Bay Beach which is considered one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. This well decorated, air-conditioned 1800 square foot condo has everything you will want. It is a second floor unit located in Egret Building which is one building back from the water. The condo has ocean and pool views as well as fantastic year round breezes. This condo has: -Pool -Dock -Oceanfront sunbathing area / sunset cocktail deck -Master bedroom with a king sized bed, TV, an en-suite bathroom -Second master bedroom with a king bed -Third bedroom with a Queen Bed -A kitchen fully equipped with the great appliances, a breakfast bar, and granite counter tops -A washer and dryer -Large custom made dining table -Living area with a sofa, love seat, and a HDTV with DVD and Cable. -A balcony with great ocean views, a fantastic breeze, a large propane grill, a table and chairs, and two chaise lounges. This luxurious condo comfortably sleeps 6 people. The neighboring three bedroom two bathroom units are also available for rent if you are a larger group. As part of our rental service, we can arrange for anything and everything you want to do while on the island. We have lived here for over 10 years and know everything about everything on Roatan. We can even stock the refrigerator with your favorite foods and drinks. What better than to have an ice cold beer waiting for you upon arrival? Unlike some of the other units at Mangrove Dock, we do not include electricity in the rental price. This allows us to charge as much fairer and cheaper rental rate, AS MUCH AS $400 LESS PER WEEK. Assuming you use the AC at night on a reasonable temperature, the typical electric bill is $15 - $20 / day. If you are coming to Roatan to buy property, we also are licensed Real Estate Agents with over 20 years of experience working for Roatan Land and Homes, the oldest and most trusted real estate agency on the island. We even offer up to a $500 credit on your vacation rental if you end up purchasing a property with us.

The location is a short walk to the restaurants and bars at west end. Property has parking for rental car. The kitchen and house well stocked with appliances and cooking utensils and grill. Comfy and homey!

The place was beautiful and clean. It had 24 hour security, a pool, and a dock where water taxis couls pick us up and drop us off. The outside hang out areas were a great place to relax and enjoy the breeze. We loved it.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at this location, we love how close it is to the West End. Always happy, Caroline was wonderful and easy to communicate with!! Will be back for sure.

Our family of five (two parents, two kids, and grandma) stayed on the 2nd floor of the Egret Building for 16 nights. The condo is beautiful--lovely, spacious layout, gorgeous furniture, comfortable beds, fully-equipped kitchen, very peaceful and quiet, lovely veranda overlooking the pool, and even a nice little library with puzzles and an excellent book on reef life. Caroline (the property manager) was gushingly warm and helpful when we first made our booking, but sadly things went downhill from there. She wasn't there to meet us when we arrived, so we struggled to figure things out (how to use the safe and key lock, where to find the bath towels, etc.), and she didn't stock our fridge with the drinks she'd promised. She also didn't fix the scalding shower and broken sink in the bathroom when we alerted her to the problem. Worst of all was a distressing experience we had with theft. We arranged a time for the cleaning staff to come clean the condo and agreed to be out when they came. I took off my two necklaces--a Buddhist protection cord and an opal on a fine gold chain--and laid them on the shelf beside my Buddhist text in preparation for swimming. Three hours later, my opal necklace was gone, and in its place was my daughter's silver butterfly necklace. My daughter was very confused. I knew instantly that something was amiss. At first, I thought the cleaning staff had stolen the whole necklace, but later my daughter discovered the opal minus chain inside her jewelry bag, which lay unzipped on the bathroom sink. My gold chain was gone. My mom's drawers had been rifled through and left in a messy state. I confronted the cleaning staff about the chain, and they denied having taken it. When I contacted Caroline, she told me I was wrong, that the cleaning staff had not stolen it. After much frustrated messaging over WhatsApp, my chain mysteriously reappeared three days later under a placemat in the dining room, badly knotted and twisted. It took me 30 minutes with tweezers and needle to untwist it. Caroline claimed she spent "25 min reviewing security footage" but found no evidence that the staff had reentered our condo (I never did see a security camera on the property). She was adamant that her staff had not stolen the chain. I ended up feeling like she had no respect for us as her guests. We felt violated and lied to. Please, if you stay here, lock up everything you care about in the safe when the cleaning staff comes.

We rented this place with a large group of friends. We rented 4 units in total. It was just fantastic.The property is large, clean, well equipped. Absoutely no complaints. The property manager, Caroline, was fantastic. She made our trip so much better by providing us with information before we arrived about the island and COVID regulations. She also organized our tests to go back to the US. It made traveling during these hard times much easier.

This place is fantastic. It definitely lives up to the reviews and the photos. It was huge, clean, spacious, well stocked, comfortable, and in very good condition. Caroline was very helpful the entire time and made our stay very enjoyable. We will be back.
