Walking on Sunshine is a beautifully decorated one bedroom condo located within the Mariners Walk community within the gated Wild Dunes Resort. Less than 100 steps to the beach and even fewer steps to the Mariners Walk community pool, Walking on Sunshine features ocean views from its comfortably coastal themed screened porch, black & white decorated living room and serene, second floor master bedroom. The first floor features an open floor plan layout between the kitchen, dining & living room areas. Walk upstairs and you'll find the master bedroom and the full bathroom. Start your days and end your evenings on the screened porch and watch the Atlantic Ocean waves crash ashore. This villa, which is brand new to the rental market, is perfect for a couple's romantic getaway, a friends' get-together or a small family vacation. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS FOR WALKING ON SUNSHINE (maximum occupancy of 4): Master Bedroom: - King bed - Dresser with smart TV (for streaming) - Night stand with reading lamps - Workspace with desk chair - Access to the bathroom with a spacious vanity and shower/tub combo. There is a cabinet in the living room that converts into a queen sized Murphy bed. The sliding glass door in the living room leads to the screened balcony. The washing machine & dryer are located in a closet near the kitchen and front door. Walk up the interior staircase to find the master bedroom and the full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. - For TV apps personal subscription required. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. Tenant must be 25 years old. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. Walking on Sunshine was everything we needed for a relaxing getaway! It is perfect for two adults (although it can accommodate 4 people). Bright and modern kitchen and family room, a lovely screened porch perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails, and a spacious bedroom upstairs with a supremely comfortable bed! The hosts were terrific from booking through our stay, even leaving a welcome note with a bottle of wine and delicious key lime cookies! Communication throughout was superb. Wouldn’t change a thing!

We had a wonderful time at Walking on Sunshine. The property managers were proactive before and during our stay which was very thoughtful. The location was perfect being steps to pool and beautiful beach . We found the condo to be extremely clean and well appointed. Definitely would return.

This beach community is so friendly, easy to walk around to explore, and even has bike rentals on the premises. The pool is right out the back door, as well as the beach access path! We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening cocktails on the screened in porch watching large ships go by in the distance, and the crashing waves added a wonderful ambiance. I just love how light, bright, and well decorated everything is. The kitchen had everything we needed to stay in and cook, and the grocery store and restaurants were only a short drive away. This all made for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable getaway, I can’t wait to go back!

This unit was exactly as advertised - well appointed, neat and clean. Beach and pool just out the porch door.
Starter cleaning supplies and toiletries provided and topped off by a lovely bottle of wine and Charleston cookies.
Property manager was informative, thoughtful and very responsive.
We have been going to Wild Dunes for almost 30 years and this is one of the nicest places we’ve stayed.

This was the perfect spot for a short getaway for my husband and our baby. The convenience of being able to load up and walk to the beach and pool with a 7 month old was perfect. The living room was spacious for all of the necessary baby items. The bed was so comfy as well. This is the perfect spot for a family vacation.

The house was steps from the beach, and was a wonderful spot for people wanting to spend lots of time on the beach. Charleston was a 40 minute drive, so it was easy to go into the city when we wanted. The house was clean and tidy, and very cozy - made even more so by the treats the owners left for us!

This is a gem of a place, perfect for two people or small family. The screened porch was our favorite part; the fan made it comfortable even though humidity was high. It was a great place to see the ocean and enjoy morning coffee. Condo was beautifully decorated and clean throughout. Short walk to beach.

This property was amazing. The location was great, the check in process was easy. Beautiful views. It was just what we needed after a baseball tournament in Myrtle Beach. We relaxed for a few days and enjoyed the sites in Charlestown. We will definitely be back. After travelling for a week it was great to have a home cooked meal. The bed was really comfy. It was great.

We enjoyed our vacation at Walking on Sunshine! The accommodations were perfect for the 4 of us-my husband, two teenage girls and myself. The master bedroom was roomy and bright. Having the extra 1/2 bath and pull out Murphy bed worked great for the girls! The kitchen had everything we needed. The screened in porch was a nice area to sit and relax as well as drop our sandy flip flops when coming back from the beach-which by the way was a very short, easy walk. We hope to be back again!

Right from the start this one bedroom is a little piece of heaven. Easy and breezy would best describe the entire process of renting to leaving. The unit is well equipped with anything you should need while relaxing at the beach. We will definitely rent again and highly recommend the place!

We had a fantastic time! The condo was even nicer than advertised and I was very impressed with its cleanliness. The owners made the checkin process very easy and were available for questions and comments throughout our stay. The location was perfect with access to the pool in under a minute and beach access that was easy and close. I highly recommend staying here to anyone, my family has a wonderful time!

This condo is just right for a couple or a small family. It is located just steps away from the ocean as well as the pool. The condo has been recently renovated and is beautiful as well as clean. We've stayed at many condo properties in Wild Dunes. This condo is nice in that there is a half bath downstairs. So, you don't have to constantly go up the stairs to the bathroom when coming in from the pool or watching tv, hanging out, etc. The bed linens were comfortable and the mattress was pretty comfortable especially those that prefer a softer mattress. All in all, a wonderful little condo at the beach. Three minor issues we noticed: 1) We had a little trouble getting our pass at the gate when we arrived. The gate kept asking me for the last names of the owner. I kept telling them we were renting and the only communication I had was from Steven, etc. They finally got that resolved after about 5 minutes. 2) My husband said the kitchen sink faucet was a little loose. 3) The white cotton throw on the bed is stained. Looks like someone spilled tea or something on it. Other than that, everything was very nice. The condo was stocked with toiletries including toilet paper and paper towels, dishwasher pods and laundry pods if needed. At least enough to get started for a family. If you want to have coffee you need to purchase keurig pods as there are none there in the condo. Also, for tea drinkers, like myself, you have to boil water on stove or microwave. It's a nice condo. Thank you.

Things we loved about the property - able to see and hear the ocean from our screened in porch, short walk to the beach, 1.5 bathrooms, murphy bed, beautiful grounds and well appointed updated kitchen, starter packs of necessities and nicely paved pathways to walk the community. The bottle of wine and cookies was a nice treat.
Things we didn't like - At times we could hear the people above us and it seemed like they were stomping. The bed pillows could use replacing.
A perfect spot for a long fall weekend at the ocean.

Absolutely perfect for a couple! Beautiful, well equipped, sparkling clean condo in a super location! We've stayed in a number of different rentals at Wild Dunes, and this one is top notch. Even though our visit was cut short a day due to weather, we still had a delightful time. I would highly recommend "Walking on Sunshine!"

This listing checked everything on our wishlist! It was our first vacation with our 11 month old, everything was perfect. So close to the beach, not at all crowded, and the hosts responded to us quickly when we had a question! We would definitely stay here again. 10/10!!!
