Just moments from downtown and within arms reach of West Des Moines. This nook features a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 523 sq ft layout that has completely been remodeled. Fully restored hardwood floors, new kitchen cabinets, new kitchen appliances, new in-unit stack washer & dryer, custom baseboards, fresh paint throughout and all new furniture/furnishings. This home is absolutely perfect for extended stays or TRAVELING NURSES. This cozy nook is absolutely perfect for those guests on Extended Stays and especially Traveling Nurses. If you're on a budget, need a place to rest your head, on-the-go - then look no further. This rental property offers complementary Live Streaming YouTubeTV, fast and reliable high speed internet, a brand new in-unit stack washer & dryer and all the fixings one would need for comfy home furnishings. The Master Bedroom located off of the family room is furnished with a Full size mattress (or double) and the guest room off of the kitchen is furnished with a Twin (or single). Guest will have complete access to the rental property. There is a storage unit located in the front yard in which the owner uses as an "Owner's Closet." All communication will be handled online via the AirBnB text messaging thread. In the event of an emergency our Property Manager Brian Kenny's direct contact information will be provided at time of check-in. Uber and Lyft are available in the immediate area. A personal vehicle or rental car is always encouraged. * There will be an additional Pet Fee of $150 for any and all pets. Pricing can be negotiated based on size, age and training of animal. Please be advised that this fee is PER ANIMAL and that the guest is still liable, responsible and will be held accountable for any pet accidents throughout the home for the duration of their stay (i.e. Urine or poop stains, chewed up furniture, damaged property or missing personal belongings). HOUSE RULES & CHECKOUT PROCEDURES * QUIET HOURS: The City of Des Moines enforces a strict policy of quiet hours starting as early at 10 PM. Any violation received by Des Moines PD, the booking AirBnB guest will be held personally responsible for paying any fines incurred. * PET FEE: There will be an additional Pet Fee of $150 per pet. Pricing can be negotiated based on size, age and training of animal. Please be advised that this fee is PER ANIMAL and that the guest is still liable, responsible and will be held accountable for any pet accidents throughout the home for the duration of their stay (i.e., Urine or poop stains, chewed up furniture, damaged property or missing personal belongings). * Please be sure to shut and lock ALL DOORS throughout the entire property prior to your departure. This will include the following: - Front Door * Take out the trash prior to your departure. All TRASH can be disposed of in the BLACK trash bin located in the front driveway directly behind the garage. All RECYCLABLE ITEMS can be disposed of inside of the BLUE trash bin. Please be sure to replace the trash can inside with a new liner. * Strip all beds of any dirty sheets, pillowcases, used linens and place them inside of the washing machine prior to vacating the premises. * Absolutely NO SMOKING inside of the house (Outside ONLY). An additional $250 FINE will be incurred. Please be sure to pick up your cigarette butts after yourselves. * Empty fridge of all personal items or leftover food. * Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher. * Be mindful and careful of other people's property. * * * PLEASE NOTE: This property is guarded by NEST Security. There is a NEST doorbell located at the front door as well as a NEST security cam overseeing the front entryway for security and liability purposes. Had a lovely week here, the house was clean and cozy, an easy check-in, quiet neighborhood. We did have some trouble with the wi-fi, but communication was very quick so we did get it resolved soon!

We enjoyed a fun girls weekend at this house. It’s small but had everything we needed. Many great restaurants within 5-15 min. from the house. Set back from the street, we had a quiet nights sleep in comfortable beds. The bathroom is quite tiny, but worked for us, fyi there’s a shower stall only. They provided basics like coffee and tea, toiletries, and were good communicators and responsive. We would definitely considering staying here again if we ever visit the area, as it was a good value.

Don't let the size or the front of the house (which needs a bit of lawn care) scare you away. This house was perfect for me and my two boys. Very clean, Kitchen well stocked, great and easy security to get in and out. I'll definitely rent this home again.

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing place to have as a home base for our Adventureland trip. This house was fantastic! It was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with a Hy-Vee grocery store and several restaurants nearby. It was the perfect place to stay on our recent trip to Adventureland, and we would definitely stay here again!

Easy check-in Good directions I stayed for 3 nights, safe clean, well appointed kitchen. The bathroom was small but great shape and worked well. There was a problem with the internet connection, it was resolved by the end of the day. Nice place to stay.

Cost was comparable to the hotels for Drake relays, but you get the whole house!!! It’s kind of hidden when you are looking because it’s set farther back then the house next to it. But, the inside was wonderful! Easy to figure out TVs. Eero Wi-Fi! Easy in and out procedures. Wasn’t really in it other than sleeping each night and a shower the next morning since I was in for Relays! Modern appliances. Would recommend to my friends and will definitely use it again for my next Relays visit!

Somebody did an amazing remodel of this darling old cottage! And then took great care to provide us with shampoo, and coffee! Everything we could possibly want was provided! We did have problems with the tv connecting to the internet. Our laptop connected and we hooked that up to the tv, but the tv itself wouldn’t connect.
