I have stayed here several times and never have had issues, this time the room smelled so bad that my daughters allergies acted up and I really couldn't stand being in room,and we had found a notebook where the person who stayed there before complained about smell too

No handicap door buttons. Also they need to line up there handicap lines on outside parking. Some are so close to each other.

It was a Fair stay got there and the counter to check in is all deteriorated and gross inside smelled and on the way to the room the hallway smelled like smoke even though there’s no smoking around the hotel so really shouldn’t even smell it, but there was tons of cigarette butts outside the door side door that we came in the room with me Yorker for a price you would think that with a new hotel being built next-door that you guys would’ve updated your hotel like a bunch for the simple fact that I stay at quite a few hotels

This place is FANTASTIC! You can tell there have been a lot of updates recently which really jazz up the place. Fantastic pool area, great breakfast, comfortable beds and a very helpful and friendly staff. If I had one complaint it would be that the area around the parking lot could use some work but I really doubt that they have much control over that. Their parking lot in new blacktop but getting there can be a bit dicey.

Staff is wonderful! Property is a bit dated in areas. Room was clean and has had some updates. Mattress is well used, and bathroom amenities could use some upgrades. Overall though, a good value.

The building itself was in need of repair. Exit door near our room had the bottom corner missing. The area around the parking lot was really bad. Lots of dog poop all over.

There was a cockroach that fell out of the bathroom fan. Thankfully my last day there. Have stayed here a lot and will not be back. If there is one cockroach there is more!

The tv remote was messed up. It was fixed to where we could at least change the channel but volume and turn off had to be done on the tv itself. To turn on the shower sucked. You had to pull so hard on the handle to use it.

Some people in the next room were talking so loudly at 5 am and I could hear their entire conversation. Plus I could hear other rooms' tvs.

Really liked the hotel, it was clean and very cosy effective for what it offered. I would recommend changing our the pillows as they were wildly uncomfortable. Other than that, my stay was very good!

The hotel was clean and provides good value for the dollar. I stayed 4 nights and the first 3 were quite, but the hotel got more full the last night and I had noisy neighbors.

This hotel was terrible. Wi-Fi was out entire stay. When we asked staff about Wi-Fi we were told that sometimes Wi-Fi goes off and if it doesn’t come on they will call maintenance in the morning. The hot tub was broken and we were not told by staff. We went down to pool area in our swimsuits and saw hot tub border off, I guess it’s been broken for almost a year. Overall awful stay with uninformative and unhelpful staff.

I stayed here lots as a kid, this place has gone way downhill unfortunately. The parking lot was still in rough shape, the hot tub still didn’t work after a year since we last stayed. This time the beds weren’t as awful, pillows were comfy. Upon arriving to our room, there were piles of dirt on the floor and it was sticky in a bunch of places. Had a good sleep regardless, and the price was okay for one night. We went back for the continental breakfast- the waffles are the best! We would go back for the price/location and waffles.

The hot tub was not working. The bathroom bar that holds the shower curtain was coming out of the walls and the shelf in the bathroom was also coming out of the wall and was a bit unstable

The immediate parking lot and one of three access roads were very good. The two other access roads were in extremely poor condition, and no way to know that till it was too late.
Flashing missing along the roof and insulation exposed to the Duluth elements.

Just wanted to drop a quick note as indicated that I felt very very comfortable in your hotel. It is basic, but it was clean and convenient. Everything worked and your stuff above everything else was friendly and nice. Your breakfast was great and I can only recommend your hotel, and I will gladly come back.do you mind just check out whether I forgot metal Starbucks cup? Just let me know if not doesn’t matter. I wish you good fortune and continue the good work.

He found a pocket knife by the bed , seemed not been vacuumed for a bit , very loud as we were put on the main floor facing a resturant , hear the cars slam their doors or people talking , the walls are also thin as can hear peoples tvs or flushing toilets
Asked for a room with a tub but got a handicapped room with a shower , also an altercation occurred across my room where staff yelling for someone to get out of their room , also my blanket had cigurate holes in the blanket

The Linen on the bed was dirty had to switch rooms. People were loud outside of our room all night. I was told our room was going to be reimbursed. Had not received reimbursement after 3 day so I called them and manager was not available ( I was told manager is the only person that can do reimbursements). It's been a week and still have not received reimbursement. Desk staff where friendly that is why I gave an average for an overall rating.

Absolutly horrible staff threatened to evict us and call animal control because my dog was in the hotel room for less then 5 minutes alone. Not only were the rooms filthy and dusty, the hot tub was busted. There was no gym. The staff was very rude judgemental and discrimative twords us due to our tattoos. We are tattoo artists from out of state tattooing on a convention.

This hotel is very outdated. Got checked in quickly with courteous service, but as soon as we got in our room I wanted to leave. Smelled strong of chlorine (hopefully not mold from the ancient jacuzzi tub). The room was very large and clean, but the beds were uncomfortable and one of my pillows smelled like dank body odor. Typical grab and go type of breakfast with some cold hard boiled eggs, 1 toaster and 1 waffle iron, some cereal and yogurt options. I spent the entire time nervous that something bad would happen to us or another guest with some of the sketchy people I saw loitering around the hotel. I would NOT recommend a stay here.

We enjoyed a very quiet stay and were pleased when our request for extra pillows was quickly taken care of.

When we arrived to our room, one bed was obviously slept in without change of bedding, dirty cup was laying on the carpet by the bed, and a used tampon was in the bathroom garbage. The cleaning team needs to be inspected and trained how to properly clean s room between customers.. won't stay there again. The staff at the front desk and all interactions were very friendly and helpful.

For the size of the room it lacked adequate lighting. You could see some mold in the jets in the Jacuzzi tub in the room. The staff was great and very attentive, quick to offer assistance throughout the stay.

There was no running water in the bathtub/shower. The staff has known about this for quite some time when brought to their attention and nothing has been done about it. Don’t think Hotels.com should have a hotel like this on their site.

Reserved two rooms, when we got there they said they only had one room. When reserving on-line it asked for a name for the second room which I provided, but that put the reservation under that name which is why they said they only had one room in my reservation. Stupid. When going to our rooms, water was coming out of the ceiling in hallway. Big puddle in carpet in hallway. Upon getting to our room it reeked on weed (pot)!! We had to get another room, we couldn't stay there.

Absolutely loved my room. The parking lot is full of potholes and there's this weird feeling of being "in a basement" when you're at the front desk, but I enjoyed my stay and would stay again. Cute room, comfy bed and pillows

We visit the Duluth area many times during the year and the hotel because we have friends and relatives there. the stay was O.K. - however- we traveled 2.5 hours and were really looking forward to the hot tub. Plus again hot tubing in the morning before our 2.5-hour trip home. We would not have stayed at this hotel if we had known the hot tub was not working. The rooms were adequate for the price. However - the hallways were very dirty. We did enjoy the breakfast and the breakfast area was clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not so good. Very outdated, dirty, hot tub down, you get what you pay for. Stayed many years ago and was nice. But really went downhill now.

It was very clean, quiet area. Great continental breakfast, boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, oranges, etc. Pool is warm. We had no smoking and no smell or smoke in area.
