Went to Oshawa for two days use go train to get downtown to Toronto. Easy access very close awesome hotel very friendly staff food was great. The room was better than what I imagine. Five stars.

It was very comfortable. Being by the road however was abit noisy but otherwise a great stay Breakfast was standard but good. We loved our room with sleeping quarters.

Pull out was about a million years old. TV was very static-y. Check-in super slow. Employees were very friendly and sympathetic.

The check in process was smooth and the young lady at the front desk was very personable. Room was quite nice, and generally quiet although the room faced the highway so there's noise from traffic all night long. They were painting one of the stairwells close to the room so there was a little bit of odor in the hallway but nothing major. Minor cosmetic items in the bathroom (peeling ceiling) and the shower spout was quite loose. It's probably going to come off soon. Bed was hard but comfortable. The TV remote for the bedroom didn't work but the living room remote worked on both TV's. Overall, great place to stay for an overnight.

In town for a hockey tournament. Staff were friendly and helpful. While some rooms were completely refreshed and looked great, ours was only mostly refreshed. New beds, wallpaper, headboards and shower inserts but thermostat from the 80s that heated but didn’t cool, rusted air vent for the heater and bathroom fixtures that were not properly attached.

It was clean and had a lot of amenities. There was a coffee maker, microwave, fridge in the kitchen area. Location was very convenient and parking was available. Although the decor was dated, the room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

Overall good experience at Quality Suites Whitby… room was close to front desk entrance, so it was a bit noisy with guests coming in & out of hotel. Great continental breakfast & friendly front desk staff. Dec 2023

A little disappointed with the stay. Loud banging almost the whole stay, unsure where it was coming from. Didn't stop until 1AM.

The room was dirty. Found food from previous renters on the floor and sticky substances on the couch and walls. There was peoples food garbage left in the hallway for far too long. The breakfast wasn’t covered and people were sick. What I do like was the sink option in the room for kitchen microwave and fridge. Separate room area

Not impressed what so ever by this hotel. Really dirty and outdated. The elevator was scary in that the door opened before the elevator stopped moving. The air was blasting in the room and the vent was brown and dirty. The vent was pointing right at the bed and I did not want that air blowing on me. The bath tub had something leak and dry that was brown. The heat didn’t work. The staff was not very pleasant. The only up side to this hotel is it was convenient to stop and stay the night for a few hours then was very ready to get the heck out. If I could rate this hotel a zero I would.

Staff was nice and seems like they are doing their best. It's obvious they need more help. Our bedding and carpet had significant size of orange staining. Also walked in to someone's eyelashes on the table. We didn't complain because there was already issues with checking in and I felt bad for the team there. Good size rooms and everything was working in room.

The location was great for the purpose of our trip, a little tricky to find the hotel. Parking &:a decent breakfast included, staff were friendly. A few issue's; not long into the room & the toilet wouldn't flush so had to change rooms. The room was also cold as the thermostat had not been turned up. The heating system is also very noisy. It was ok for a short stay but I'd be inclined to try somewhere else if staying in the area again. Cheers!

Carpets, doors, and couches were grubby. Receptionist was not rude but not cheerful either and didnt look at us once while checking us in. No extra blankets to make up the pull out bed meant for our daughter. Diningroom was freezing. Comfy bed, nice breakfast.

Waited a long time to check in. As soon as we walked in our room we could smell a very strong mold smell. We left the room and returned to see if it changed and it got worse the further into the room we went. I had to wait in the check in line again to speak with staff at front desk, where she didn’t believe me that there was a smell and asked me if the room smelt the same as the lobby (which smelled of a fresh lemon scent). When I told her it smelt like mold she quickly gave me a different room on a different floor. The second room smelled of cigarette smoke, but after opening the windows the smell was not as strong. Would not stay here again.

The property is very dated. Clean but dated. In our room the toilet didn’t flush properly, the tub didn’t drain while showering, some ceiling tiles were broken, the in room phone did not work, and the hair dryer did not work. I had to go to another occupied room to use a blow dryer as the hotel didn’t have any spares (yes I reset the GFI outlet and front desk reset the breaker)

The first room was not cleaned, the second room the keys didn’t work, then the third set of keys for a third room didn’t work. therefore a painter had to let me into a room and change my keys for me.

The mattresses were not very comfortable and one had a sag in it. The fan for heat/cooling was so loud we had to turn it off. I am glad that the temp in the room wasn’t too cold or too hot. The front desk charged $100 to the bill and then said they would refund it the next day. I made sure to get a receipt showing this and I will be double checking my credit card bill. Our room was right next to the highway. Next time if I need to stay there I will request a room at the back of the hotel.
