Clean rooms and friendly staff. The front door nor the side doors closed all the way or locked. Acess to building was open.

The property allows dogs in the rooms which makes the cleanliness of the floors understandable. The bedding had stains on the comforters. The bathroom fan was caked in dust. The room smelled very bad and our clothes and luggage smelled like the room after leaving.

Very poor customer service room was smaller than what I paid for got a smaller bed and no microwave floor was filthy dirty looks like it never was cleaned also dog hair everywhere when you first walk into the hallway by the vending machine it was like someone had multiple parties in there looks like they never cleaned it before very disappointed in the place spent money that really we shouldn't have to get out of the cold feel very disappointed and will never go back again would like my money back if at all possible thank you

Parking lot and surrounding property in poor condition. Outside entrance doors do not lock. But I guess that you get what you pay for.

This motel was so sketchy. The whole place is filthy, there was no hot water, dark inside and out with not enough lighting. While we were in our room, the front desk double rented and gave somebody else a key to our room. While we were sleeping, they were unable to lock our door. Unacceptable and dangerous!!

I have stayed at Motel 6 several times as a traveler healthcare professional. The staff truly redeem this place. They are some of the nicest people in the motel industry Eau Claire has to offer. On the other hand the reviews are correct about the property condition. One other unique addition is the property is on a bus line. I have taken Greyhound to Eau Claire and taken taxis many a time from the depot to here. Would recommend if you have pets and don't want to spend a fortune to board them while taking them with.

As soon as I got to the property I saw how unkempt and dirty everything was. Basically looked run down. I walked into my room and immediately noticed that the curtain was half broken off the window. Had to rig it so I could have some privacy from outside. Then I noticed all the mirrors looked as though they weren’t cleaned-fingerprints everywhere. If it weren’t already so late in the evening I would’ve left and found somewhere else to stay.

Extremely dirty!! Would never stay there again

A/C was set at 62 degrees and running full blast. Dirty facial tissue on the floor. Not a square of toilet paper in the room - empty roller. Many cosmetic damages to the walls, missing tiles, missing bathroom light lens, etc. TV and service were disappointing: unit wouldn't turn off, volume would not adjust. Cannot recommend at all

Had a great stay

The price was reasonable, it was pet friendly, no frills, clean, it had new tile floor in our room, faucet was updated, bathroom was painted and updated. It still needs some updating but looks like they are working on that. We had guests running around at early morning hours above our room. Overall for the price it was good.

Our stay here fir one night was alright. The room was clean, the staff were polite. Its one of the better Motel 6's that we have stayed in but still had issues. The rub dudnt drain very qell when showering and you ended up standing in ankle deep water as you showered. The bed was horribly soft to the point of being uncomfortable. Our upstairs neighbors were extremely noisy and banging above us....thankfully, they respected the 9 pm quiet time rule.

Customer service was fine, but it's outdated, needs updating My boyfriend and I have pictures of the property stuff that are in public eyes.

Paid an extra 30 to check in 2 hours early. Cigarette busts and over flowing garbage were everywhere outside the building. The room had nothing in it but a used bar of soap . Very noisy all night.

My experience was terrible. Got away for a quiet night. The room above my was noisy. Told hotel staff but the loud noise still continues after they talked to them. Would not recommend Motel 6 to anyone.

Quiet

The beds were comfortable but the place is in desperate need for repairs. The first room we were booked into was not cleaned from the day before but they quickly got us into another room. The room was cleanish but obviously not a room they rented out very often cuz the tv and fridge were not plugged in and there was no artwork or anything inviting in the room. Overall glad I didn’t pay a lot for the room but it wasn’t a place I would choose to stay at again unless it was my only choice due to circumstances.

Do not book this motel! It's horrible, rooms stinks, beds has molds, rooms smells terrible!

Exceptional service .. all my needs were met

The location was convenient but that's about all that was convenient about it. The hotel is old and rundown with some renovations done. Couldn't walk on the floors in the room without your shoes sticking to it. The fan/light in the bathroom was ridiculously loud. We don't use the blankets, normally only the top sheet, but I wouldn't have used the blanket that was on the bed since it was covered in black dog/cat hair. The hallways reeked like weed. For the condition that everything was in, definitely got ripped off for what we paid for the night but there was something going on that night so hotels were slim picking.

Rooms need at least one chair for a guest to sit on instead of the bed.

The beds are hard and there were some pretty nasty stains. The carpet was filthy like they hadn't vacuumed in a month. The fridge was cold but had to be cleaned before we used it. The a/c smelled disgusting when we turned it on, so we just kept the window open. There isn’t a continental breakfast anymore like their ad states. We would have gottwn a new hotel had they not all been booked from Rockfest.

The room is pretty nice. Just a few features to update things would be go a long way. Better blankets on the bed. The sheets fitting on the bed. Front desk person was difficult to converse with.

Woke up by a dog twice in two days.

We walked in and immediately started to rethink our decision to stay. The hallways reeked. We opened our room and it smelled like 1000 unwashed truckers were in there. The mattresses were practically bare, with one thin, fitted sheet, and the pillows smelled putrid. We started discussing getting a different hotel and I went to use the bathroom. It was very obviously not cleaned from it's last use. The last straw was when we caught a creepy guy, blatantly staring at us and scanned our whole room. We loaded up our stuff again and told the front desk we were leaving. We told the front desk guy that the room was in need of cleaning, and he said, housekeeping left for the day, but they can clean it tomorrow He said my credit card would be refunded. Now I have to get on the phone tomorrow to file a dispute since they did, in fact. charge my card. The whole situation was so bizarre.

Ease of location and very accessible. No problems with the staff. They were very helpful

This place should be closed down

Came to check in early. They said the room would be prepared later but processed my payment and checkin. Came in later that night, a dude was urinating in the parking lot and got into a car with another person without the car lights on. Went in, attendant couldn't find our reservation, but gave us the keys on what seemed like a whim. Room door was open, bed sheets werent even on the bed (just a pile of probably ehat was the old used sheets on the chair), AC was open and looked broken. Tried to call desk, phone wasn’t even plugged in. Walked to front desk, they said the place was full, but they could put us in the "upgrade room". The attendant almost acted like someone booked the room when looking for it in the system, and even led us to the room and called out to make sure no one was in the room. The "upgrade" room had a dingy jacuzi and an adult club light over the bed (could not turn off without turning off all the lights). Bed was at least made, but the fridge had frozen egg rolls in it from some other guest and in the bathroom, the toilet seat was up, had pubic hairs on the rim, and some unidentified shavings on the ground. No towels. Locked the door, but the deadbolt didn't work. Woke up in the early morning to some other guest yelling at someone else. Made it out fine, but it was the only option when other hotels were booked or too expensive. Knew it would be cheap, but a cheap hotel should be safe and clean.

I had a booked a room and when I got there they said they were over booked. Then they said they will give me a room but it has a leak in the bathroom, while I was waiting 3 guest's came down and said they had no towels and soap, and the last thing the window air conditioner only blew out warm air.

first room looked like it was used or broken into. it was above the external door that has a valance above it. it seemed that someone used a garbage can to get onto the valance and into the room. the rooms window was open the screen bent and the ac running and the front face of the ac fell off. the floors and bed was dirty (see pics) and the towels were used.
