We needed a place to stay on a long distance trip and came across this hotel. I was surprised at the comfort and cleanness of this hotel. The front desk was very friendly and knew we were tired. We got up to our room in record time. The bad was comfortable and the room was nice. Nice fridge/Tub/Coffee Maker. The breakfast in the morning was great. Waffles/Eggs/Sausage and Biscuits and gravy were the hot food! I would definitely say here again.

Would have liked additional bread options for breakfast. Also, I wish no one would use styrofoam anymore. So many other cups and plates can be recycled. Staff was very nice. Location felt safe. Restaurants in walking distance and good location overall.

I requested a handicap room on booking but when i confirmed, that request hadnt been sent to hotel! Sherri took charge and made it happen. The hotel is very aged and it shows but the staff do an exceptional job maintaining and cleaning the facility. Although simple, the breakfast was always hot and fresh.

Worst stay ever. The walls are so thin and you can hear everything in the hall, next door and the parking lot. Someone pulled the fire alarm in the middle of the night.

When I was first checking in a few drug addicts/homeless were checking in in front of me. The hostess seemed to be attentive to it and gave them a warning about being on good behavior so it comforted me. I thought a good samaritan bought them a night or something…..well… it appears as though all of the homeless in Knoxville stay at this hotel. They were wandering around cars at night “looking for their car they cant find”. This happened both nights we weee there and different people. It felt pretty sketch. The hotels next door are a LOT nicer and didn’t seem to have the same activity. It was very strange. I never felt unsafe here, but I would be worried to stay here with children. The hotel rooms didn't seem like they were cleaned very well—then I wondered what drugs I was sleeping/showering with from all the sketch people staying here. They did have a nice spread at the hot breakfast each morning. The breakfast area/lobby were very nice and kept clean.

It's an older establishment but remodeled or kept up well. Pool, fitness room, laundry room, nice bedding and super nice staff! It was only a one night stay but I'll be back!

Room was clean. I did not request a handicapped room but was given one so that is an option. Breakfast was 630am-930am. Scrambled eggs,sausage,buscuirs and gravy. Waffles, cereal, yogurt,bagels and toast. Let them know if you require housekeeping during stay.

Excellent location for our needs. We were visiting the Knoxville area for medical reasons and the hotel was only two miles away from the large medical center. Tons of upscale restaurants that are walkable from the hotel. Large Regal movie theater only 3 miles from hotel and lots of shopping. The price was excellent and we were able to bring our pets without an added charge. This was a plus!!! Most of the hotels in the Knoxville area and close by like Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg charge as much as $50 per pet per night. Ridiculous! Red Roof charges $0. Hot breakfast in the morning, clean facilities, and a pleasant lobby area with adjoining breakfast area that overlooks a pretty courtyard area with pool. A great value!!!

The location and price was great. The staff was very courteous. Even breakfast was decent. But the cleanliness is a whole nother issue. There were left over food in the frig and the ice bucket had not been empty after the last occupant. The soap dispenser was empty too. There wasn't any carpet which was a great thing but it also shows where the cleaning if at all is in the middle of the room. After dropping something on the floor, I glanced under the couch, there was a soda bottle and lots of dust bunnies under there. I am positive at some point a smoker had been in the room. I did speak to the gal at the check in desk, she noted it with her response was Well, we are just human....

We were very pleasantly surprised by our stay here. We booked a last minute room and were looking for something low cost. Our expectations weren't super high considering the low price however we were very pleased when entering the hotel. The lobby has been renovated and was very nice. The room itself was also renovated and comfortable. There was a good hot breakfast, with biscuits gravy eggs cereal yogurt bagels sausage and waffles. The only thing we could really suggest would be a tad more attention to detail as our bathroom could have been slightly cleaner and the front desk lady that checked us in wasn't the most friendly. But otherwise this hotel is an excellent choice if you want a clean hotel on a budget and in a good location.

In my opinion, it was pricy for the conditions this hotel was. My room had bad wet spots in the ceiling; the sink and bathroom had grime in the edges, and it was a bit gross. When I went to get breakfast, the toaster was broken, and the eggs didn’t look well cooked.

There was no staff around when I arrived to check in. I actually left a message for the general manager. When someone arrived she explained that she had to leave the desk to fix a TV. Our room was very clean except for the bathroom which has chipped paint on the door and paint drops on the floor. The smoke detector was disconnected.

Please note the lobby is not connected to the room, and there is no elevator. However, you do need a hotel key to get into actual hallways where the rooms are. I could hear the door open and close all night. The ac didn't get very cool and the room "appeared clean" until I saw a roach... I wouldn't recommend staying here especially since you can fine a nicer hotel in this part of Knoxville.

It was okay. The closet doors in the room would not shut, floor was a little dirty in corner. The bed was comfortable and clean so that’s a plus. We didn’t like much of anything that was offered for breakfast.

was promised a suite but when we checked in the room had a chemical smell that gave my wife and I an immediate headache. They accomodated us with a regular room with a king sized bed and said they would downsize my credit card bill, but have not to date. I probobly will not stay at this chain again. In addition the coffee in the lobby was little ore than tepid brown water. The only bsaving grace was the Bed, and that was due to my exhaustion I am sure.

Everyone was nice beds was comfortable only had two one I wanted to take a bath and relax, but the stopper was broke and then we needed to do laundry. The washer worked, but the dryer did not.

Location and Staff were good, Suite was roomy but had several items that needed more attention. Jetted Tub had mold come from the jets. TV in bedroom Remote and Input didn't work well. Freezer in the refrigerator was frozen and door would not close well.

I think that there is a need for a well-equipped and comfortable place for people who smoke...it is not comfortable to be standing like a criminal in the parking area smoking...just as it is required and respected not to smoke in the building or at their entrances, there should also be at least one chair in a place indicated for a smoking area.
