We had an issue checking in - they claimed that my credit card was declined, yet the charge was on my credit card bill 3 weeks before our check-in. I told them that I was NOT going to let them charge my credit card again. Hotels.com was amazing and called the hotel right away and the new employee was able to figure out a solution to the problem (without the help of her manager who wouldn't return her text or call). I appreciate the helpfulness of this employee! We also were only given 1 adult free breakfast coupon when we checked in with 1 adult and 3 children (each child was supposed to get a free breakfast coupon as well). Finally, we saw a mouse run across the restaurant. However, the double queen room (and bathroom) was very large, the beds were comfortable, the hotel was clean and quiet, and the parking lot was well-lit at night. It was also 800 feet from an amazing coffeehouse (since the breakfast was NOT great - but at least it was free).

the receptionist was one of the best I've ever talked to, the room they gave me had problems with the toilet, I had to change it, in the other room they gave me the TV didn't work, as I only needed it for one night I didn't care..

Highly recommended place to stay. Front desk clerk Anna was very friendly and accommodating. Would visit this hotel again next time in the area.

Overall, the stay was fine. However, I had paid for my room online, but when I arrived at check-in, I had to give a deposit for the room. My concern was that the bathroom shower floor wasn't as clean as I expected, and there had been a flood which showed damage on the bottom of the door.

Very convenient to get to& Close to where I wanted to go. Close to quite a few amenities but the room needed a little more tlc. Beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean but all surfaces in room needed to be wiped down especially table tops/desktops, etc. Otherwise, my stay was enjoyable.

The person at checkout tried to argue that we only had one breakfast for three people and I had to show very clear paperwork stating otherwise before she finally give me a second breakfast coupon but still not a third

We arrived late at night and left fairly early in the morning, and this hotel was perfect for what we needed it for: sleeping and showering. The staff we came into contact were pleasant as well!

It was a good size room and well-maintained. The only thing I didn't like was the carpet in the room. It just holds the humidity and I am not a huge fan of that.

Holiday Inns always offer consistent quality and this hotel is within that arena. This was our second stay here and we found the rooms to be clean and very well appointed as well as recently remodeled. The bathroom was very nice. A big plus is the on-site restaurant which offers lunch dinner and breakfast and breakfast is included in your stay if you opt for it. A great value

Everything about our stay was perfect! At check-in, Jake was incredibly welcoming and professional. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting him. We also had a fantastic dinner in the hotel restaurant, La Luna, and our server, Christian, was wonderful! The room was spotless, and this will now be our go-to hotel in New London. We love the hotel the only thing is the ywo time we webt first the pool is so cold and my son scratched his foot and this time my husband scratched his nose, foot and knee. The pool floor is too porous...... but everything all excellent

Nice hotel great, staff , restaurant was excellent , Super easy to get too , perfect spot if you’re going to go to Ocean Beach mystic or take fairies to block, reasonably priced Area around the hotel was OK could’ve used more secure lot parking signs, stating not responsible for lost or stolen property in parking lot were a little concerning But I would recommend the hotel and stay there again, very clean and pleasant did not feel so sure on walking around the city area with kids at night tho , but felt fine on the grounds or in the property at night.. hotel 5 stars , area prob 3.5 convenience 4.5
