I booked this hotel for a weekend trip to visit family and upon arrival the check in process was no problem at all smooth and easy, once i got to my room the door was a little tuff to open and the light swith by the door seems to serve no purpose as it did not turn anything on or off that i could see, the soap they provide is horrible as i forgot mine at home but it was the size of a quarter and very hard i brought my own from a store the next day could not use that, the view i had was of another hotel that had a lot of late night traffic and loud music, the showers do not have any no slip mats in them so i did almost slip and fall in there a few times while this was not a horrible stay it was not the best either if i was not by myself this time i would not have stayed here due to the quality

The staff was nice and I feel bad for leaving this review but the hotel advertisement is quite misleading from the pictures. The hotel was old, many things didn’t work. The pool had no water in it. It was musty. The toilet clogged on first use. Have to open the door a certain way for it to work. Hole on the comforter (not really a huge deal, just noting here for age description.) we actually left after 5 mins to get another hotel.

Entering the hotel, reminded me of hotels in Florida very nice landscaping very tropical with a nice courtyard and a pool in the center. I was facing the hotel across the parking lot, which wasn’t a problem. The room that I was in was a bit dated. I figured that the facility is in need of a lot of updating. However, the shower was great even though the soap was the size of a quarter but I usually bring my own so I won’t hold that against them. The television worked fine. The toilet worked fine. The sink worked fine with hot and cold water on demand, although there was a slow drain. When I checked in the young lady who was On duty with very friendly and extremely professional and welcomed me warmly.

The room was dirty. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom. Trash was found in several locations. The door looked rusted and ugly. The room was noisy from the outside.

Not what I was expecting from a Wyndham property. The room itself was good except I couldn’t get enough hot water to use the shower. The check in desk felt like I was checking into a jail as the security measures were so prominent. The advertised breakfast was a bag with a small bottle of juice and some crackers and a pastry you would expect to get out of a vending machine. Would choose some place differently next time in Durham.

There are abandoned cars in lot.

This place was the worst place I had ever stayed in you could not even get fresh linens, the room was totally filthy puke in the bathtub, dirty sheet yes with stains, drugs and prostitutes all over cops even did an arrest at 8:00 am right next door to the room. Very loud very unsafe.

This whole facility seems to be on his last legs. The grounds are a shambles. We had to let the water run for more than 10 minutes in order to get hot water to the taps. But it was quiet, and the bed was comfortable.

The room had bugs roaches crawling on the bed in the middle of the night overall dirty with poor maintenance to room and property desperate need of an upgrade will never stay here again wish i could get a refund

I tried to call the desk to complain there was no hot water, but the phone didn't work. I walked there (in the rain) and had the clerk explain that one needed to run hot water for about 5 minutes before it got hot...
I wouldn't be there at all except it is convienient and cheap.....

Poor access from highway. Shower took 15 minutes to get hot. Cold room - had to turn heat up to 84 to keep it about 70. No breakfast / coffee service except a paper bag containing a few vending machine snacks. Won't be coming here again.

The property is in a disgusting state. the lights are broken, carpet is dirty, room is smelly and there are no toiletries.
We were told that breakfast will be provided in brown bags. Though it was said that there would be a breakfast buffet.
This is a very bad place and more over misrepresented on your website as a facility with multiple amenities.

There were drugs being sold a few doors done. Someone knock on my door looking tonhave interactions I guess thinking that this is normal at this location. Took about 8min for the water to get hot. Would not recommend this at all

Will never stay again. Extreme disappointment needs 0 stars. The room was dirty and when asked for a clean room was denied and no one cleaned the room even after. Letting management know of the discussing conditions. Balls of hair and other things... no trash can. And burn marks in the bedding. Do not stay here.

Stay was fine. Room was a bit outdated but ok. There was what appeared to be "blood splatter" on the wall next to the hair dryer. Probably wasn't but that was what it looked like. The little square pillows are terrible. The bed and coverings were nice and comfortable.
One of the reasons I chose this hotel was that it listed breakfast. I really didn't expect that it would be a sunny d and a couple of things in a little bag from behind the front desk.

Looks nothing like pictures on hotels.com door was locked when trying to check in multiple abounded car, two people shooting up in the parking, save your self book elsewhere from the looks of this place if you could actually get into to get a room you’d probably wouldn’t get any sleep in this place this place is 100% how you get put on a milk carton or have you seen me Comercail and good luck getting your money back

We checked in and immediately checked out. $200 down the drain. The smell of marijuana smoke was everywhere and I mean everywhere. From the storm doors of the lobby, through the courtyard and beyond, the smoke was overwhelming. On the balcony, there were several people openly smoking and having quite a party. We decided it wasn't worth it to stay and immediately checked out and found a great spot at a Hampton Inn a few miles away.

There was a lot of trash littering the property outside. Inside the room, there were holes in the walls, mold, cobwebs, and the bathroom looked as if it hasn’t been cleaned in months.

The pool was the best part. Breakfast was being handed a small paper bag full of bodega snacks. Found a dead roach in the bathroom when we first got there. You could see the crust in the bathroom. There was a weird smell in the corner of the room. Heard similar stories from other guests we met at the pool.

There is no sit-in breakfast at this place as advertised. They just give you a bag with some snack bar. One of the towels had blood stain. Low quality. Beware.

Do not stay here on the weekend. Very unsafe. Lots of people walking around late at night.

I liked that it was close to Duke as stated, but the room was very dirty. There were toenail clippings in the room, dirt on all lamps and stands, and the floors were not vacuumed. The key card did not work properly and had to be replaced multiple times in the course of two days.

Room condition was very odd. Some spots like the door and shower ceiling look old, dirty, and questionable. The room furnishings were generally good. It was a non-smoking room but clearly smelled of stale cigarettes and there were burns in bedding.

The worse part about this property is finding it. We drove around for about 30 minutes looking for the motel. We finally found it behind a Refuel gas station AND Royal Inn. They need more signage on the road. Otherwise the stay was ok. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. We stayed two nights. There was no housekeeping. We thought someone would at least empty the trash in the room. We would stay there again due to its proximity to Duke and the rates.
