This was the first time i stayed in this motel. It nice and clean and I had no problems while staying here. Far enough from the highway so noise wasn't a problem. The room was nice and upgraded to a larger room from the standard. Pleasant place to stay altogether.

Walking through the front door, I was assaulted by the artificial, chemically, acrid smell of air freshener. Walking into our room, the overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke took over. Later in the evening it was the pungent skunky weed that took up residence. Which I suppose explained the 7+ air fresheners, zip tied to the outlets, I counted on the walk to our room. The rooms are dated but comfortable, and aside from the smells, it was a perfectly adequate place for the night.

The property was in a quiet area although I had difficulty finding it using GPS. It is tucked away within the shopping center. Overall, the property was pretty clean, it’s a dated building, so everything was a little old. My room had a slight smell of mildew when I arrived and the smell existed the entire stay. I do not know why. The staff and customer service was wonderful.

Our room smelled bad and when turned on the heater/ac unit smelled as well. Staff was very kind and quickly moved us to a new room which was better as to odor, still musty, but not the king room I reserved. There were scent units all down the hallways to cover odors. Appeared the hotel experienced flooding and didn't replaced carpet or somesuch. Carpet was aged and dirty in room and halls.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property and I will continue to do so each time I visit Charlotte. It's convenient because it's close to where my granddaughter lives and that's who we visit. Although a little older, the hotel is always clean and neat. Early mornings have the cleaning staff washing floors and laundry efficiently. The breakfast is self serve with an array of hot and cold items from bacon and eggs to cereal and yogart. Only thing missing is fresh fruit but there are so many other things it's okay. And the price fits our budget. I will continue to stay here when I visit Charlotte.

The only positive was that they let us check in early but they put us in the bottom floor at the end by the Garbage dumpster so we woke up in the morning at 4:30 AM to the Garbage truck. The place smelled like mildew and they had oder eaters plugged in all down the hallway. Thankful they had coffee in the rooms because the coffee they brewed in the Morning was Swamp Water. Tasted like old socks. The breakfast area appeared to be clean and was no thrills (didn't expect any so was not disappointed). the staff at front desk was not attentive and were busier on the computer than to say good morning. Outside was dirty, there was a dirty balled up towel by the curb when we got there and it was there 3 days laater when we left... second day we saw a guy attempting to sweep outside but somehow he missed the trash and the balled up discusting towel. Not attention to detail and in general poor hotel. Will not pick it again FOR SURE.

This location is nearby a lot of shopping areas. The hotel does seem a little old but overall the service and room was worth the money paid. Great customer service.

Good location. I had read that it was difficult to find, but we did not find it so. Check in was easy. Carpet in hall looked new but hallway smelled musty. Room was clean. Heating/cooling worked well. Bed was hard and pillows were tiny. Our room had a whirlpool in the bedroom area that was old. A sofa would have been preferable. Breakfast was not so good. Rubber eggs, terrible yogurt. I would eat at another restaurant for breakfast. Overall I would stay there again for one night.

The service was good. Our first assigned room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The second room was very musty but definitely better than smoke so we stayed there. In the morning the hallway smelled like someone was smoking on our floor. Breakfast was the usual stuff. Staff was good, the grounds were underwhelming.

The check on was cordial and quick and the room was easy to get too. The room was clean for the most part. There was a dead bug on the bathroom counter, it had a light switch that didn’t turn on any lights so it was difficult to find the switches on the lamps as we arrived after dusk. The stay was quiet and we were only at the hotel for less than 10 hours. The shower head was hard to change the setting on but had good pressure and was a good temperature. Had a refrigerator that helped because we had dinner leftovers. They also had a one cup coffee maker where I enjoyed some tea before bed. The only complaint I had is there was an open coffee pod in the basket… it appeared the pod was opened by a previous guest and was unused. The breakfast was pretty good and had a great variety. There was no staff at the time of my checkout so I emailed the hotel that I checked out.

Parking limited, small area to park in. Room has a musty smell. Old chair in room to sit in. Hotel definitely needs renovation. Not a good location in proximity to Charlotte. No safe Internet connection, never heard of that at a hotel.
