Room was nasty. Hallway and bathroom smelled terrible

Overall, my stay went fine. Checked in early. Desk clerk was prompt and courteous. Room was made up and ready. Accommodations looked old and worn. No USB outlets by the bed. Limited USB outlets overall. Bed was comfortable.

All the photos online for this hotel should be removed!! In reality it is very old, run down and not maintained at all. Paint peeling on room walls. Door to room looked like a dog chewed on edges of the door. Elevator was out of order. I was placed on the 4th floor (got good exercise) because he said it would be quiet. Figured out it was because the first floor or 2 was for "extended stay" people although that was not advertised. The folks at the front desk never acknowledged me leaving or coming into the hotel. The breakfast was horrible. Basically coffee, waffles and some toast. Area around hotel was not very desirable either. In a nut shell DO NOT STAY HERE. If I didn't prepay through Hotels.com I would have left

The stay started off fine. Check in was easy. The elevator was broken the 2 days I stayed there. The room looked to be in decent shape and was reasonably clean for the price I paid. Breakfast was very minimal but better than nothing.
The problems started on my last day. I asked for an extended checkout for 1.5 hours (the hotel was dead). They told me it would cost me $20 per hour (the room was only $60 per night). So I asked to extend the reservation a day and was quoted a similar price over the phone for an additional night but that they needed me to stop by the front desk to run my card. As I was trying to complete this process, a different person quoted me a 25% higher price and refused to honor the price his co-worker gave me over the phone. So I decided to check out as fast as possible instead. I passed the man on the way out and he seemed surprised that the price was not honored. At that point, it was too late for me because as I was packing up my things to vacate, I saw 2 different roaches in my room. So renter beware. You'll likely be sleeping with roaches.

Not a very clean hotel… no toilet paper or towels in the general hotel bathroom. The gal at the desk was rude and must have repeated 3-4 times about not smoking in the room, which of course I would never do. Not very friendly or clean place… it’s rundown.

Motel is very old and outdated. The pictures online are heavily photoshopped.. whole motel smelled like mold and weed. Breakfast doesnt start until 7 and is extremely limited. Not like the photos..

The building was older in need of upgrading. Our room had torn carpeting. They didn’t have a luggage cart and had to use a laundry cart to bring in our suitcases.

This property is nothing like it is being advertised on the website. It’s completely out of date. And the water in the shower kept going cold or extremely hot, no in between. Looked to have mold in the grout in the bathroom. And just purely out dated and just not at all how it is advertised and shown in the pictures and descriptions of the hotel on the app.

Disappointing. The room is so dirty, beaten up and smells bad. No bath towel (there were hand towel and tub mat). If I hadn’t been so tired and it was more than one night, I would have left. Surprising considering the affluent town it’s in.

This is the first time in my life that I’ve stayed at a hotel that intentionally doesn’t have luggage carts. This should make you a motel. The carpet is filthy in the hallways and the elevator is disgusting. I will never stay at this LaQuinta Inn ever again. People can’t say they wasn’t warned about the conditions.

I asked for an extra blanket that took two days to arrive. Saw a small cockroach. Might be okay to spend one night but I wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay.

It's winter now. The quilt is too thin. There are many small cockroaches in the room. It's very uncomfortable. It's very cold when I sleep at night without a quilt.

I reserved three rooms for three nights for family members. One had a broken toilet the other had a wet carpet with moldy spell and the other saw a roach. They ended up switching hotels after first night. The hotel staff was apologetic and promised a refund however when the amount wasn’t refunded I spoke with them only to have them deny any of it ever happened. Very dishonorable and dishonest. I was promised that notes were taken when I asked to see the ledger they refused however I did notice the ledger is filled with other complaints from other rooms.

This hotel is the worst hotel i have been in not only is the staff rude they have roaches in the rooms but the worst part is that these people discriminated me i had a booking and payed for it and they didn’t let me keep the booking they threw me out with my 3 kids and everything in the cold for no reason they said i had to much people in the room which was made up they just discriminated me and my children for being hispanic he was rude to my children now i and filling a lawsuit against them for discrimination.

The room was dirty. Had broken drawers that were hanging on the nightstand and dresser. The chair seat was torn. The bedspread had a cigarette burn hole in it.

No dolly to transfer items to room from car, no remote for TV - no side or under button to turn on either, no working side left lamp, no towels, fridge was not cold. I turned it to max. I'll see if it comes on. The desk clerk thinks all of this is funny. I don't know why. He said he is new - 2 weeks on job. Chairs are scratched up. Desk clerk said I can check out a diff rm to see if everything works!!! I believe that is the job of the hotel staff!!! It took 1 1/2 days to get a TV remote finally. Toilet flow and bathtub flow drainage is very slow. Bowel movement must be flushed with buckets of water.

Stay here a week at a time while working. Location for me is great as well as the price. Front desk is very nice and helpful. It is an older hotel that could use some updates but they do a great job keeping it clean, which I really prefer. Have never had any issues with safety as long as I've stayed there.

Night clerk was great, staff was friendly and courteous but the hotel itself was extremely disappointing.
Hallways smelled like cigarettes, the room had roaches (pictured) and caked up dirt in the corners and in the bathroom. The shower had mold and mildew around the shower fixture. There was a dog in the room next door that wouldn’t quit barking.
