There were no utensils, plates, etc of any kind in the kitchenette. The staff do not keep the hallways clean. The building entrance door is supposed to lock for security but it does not even close. The price is low and you can see why.

I have to start off by saying i usually don’t ever leave bad reviews even if i had a horrible experience but this hotel was so bad i had to. I do have to say though that the staff that was around was so friendly and apologetic that it made up a little for our horrible experience we quickly realized they were understaffed. But the hotel was so dirty like even the lobby looked like it needed a good mop and sweep. Once we walked towards our rooms it smelled of wet dog and cigarettes and it looked like the hotel was under construction with all the broken fixtures and moldings. Our rooms also smelled and there was what looked like a pubic hair in one of our fridges. Then not to mention later in the evening the fire alarms kept blaring on and off both nights we were there. On top of everything the rooms we stayed in all were either leaking water from the ceiling or the floor boards. It was the worst experience ever!! But this isn’t a reflection on the employees who were there, they were very accommodating and apologetic and I can’t reiterate that enough.

Extended stay has gone down quite a lot, especially in cities like Dublin and Pleasanton California where you would t expect. My keycard kept deactivating so I would go all the way up to the third floor with a hand full of stuff just to try and use my keycard and it stopped working. This is an ongoing issue at extended stay. I had to go down to the main lobby three times to get my room key reactivated. Breakfast??? Forget about it, they left out some stale chocolate muffins with poorly made coffee then found that my muffin was molded on the inside. Yes I bit into a molded chocolate muffin. Lastly, they don’t even have around the clock desk clerks. After a certain time there is no one manning the desk. I had to get my keycard reactivated by the guy cleaning all the sheets at night. Extended Stay is not what it used to be befor Covid. It sucks now.

There was no one at the reception desk for 30 minutes when I checked in. There’s a lot of families and young children staying there and it’s noisy.

The hotel had a musty smell, people had dogs in the rooms and the walls are paper thin, you can hear everything.

Wow, has to be the worst place I have ever stayed. Place was so dirty and old feeling.
Got to our room and the floor was all wet, the sink had been leaking for not sure how long. Tried to get another room but there was nothing else available with double beds.
Asked the front desk to clean it up, and they had no one available and handed me a mop!!
I refused the mop and just asked for towels to put down.
After getting in the room and pulling out the sofa bed, there were a ton of blood stains on it. No sheets for the bed also.
Big blood stain on the lamp.
Not sure how they can can keep this place like this.
Bathroom was dirty, old tiles, some missing.

Upon arrival the lobby smelled of marijuana and when I got off the elevator to go to my room it smelled musty and of urine. Luckily my room did not smell. The room was cozy but very outdated. There were also no shampoo, conditioner or lotions in the room - had to wash my hair with soap (not the best but better than nothing). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was an average place to stay for a single night in Pleasanton and was affordable.

The girl who checked me in was excellent customer friendly very helpful.
But when I went to bed and pulled the sheets down there was a Kleenex there
Needless to say I slept on top of the covers
And the bathroom trash was not empty
But since I had to leave at 3 in the morning I let it go we were to tired and had to be at hospital by 4 am.
Will not be staying there again.

Our first room was dirty and it hadn't been cleaned in 3 days so they changed our room and it had a smell but the service at check in was great the 2 ladies at the desk was wonderful they resolved the issue fast as possible

Pros: location, price
Cons: certain necessities are not provided by default ( hair dryer, shampoo), curtain leaks large amount of light
Other: neighbor upstairs not sleeping at 3am certainly made our stay worse.

The guest service is rude. He gave me a nonworking key and didn't apologize. Then the room was a storage room and still didn't apologize

We looked at 2 rooms before settling on the room we stayed in. The first room had a large gap at the bottom of the door and frame so anyone could bend down and look right in. 2nd room reeked of cigarette smoke ( this is a smoke free hotel), the last room looked fine initially, but as we settled in that evening we looked up at the ceiling to find blood stained finger marks streaked across the ceiling above the couch. The floor wasn't that clean so we definitely kept our shoes on. The top of the refrigerator had a milk like ring stain from a glass. The pillows were dense, flat and uncomfortable. When we turned on the bathroom fan, we could smell cigarette smoke. Lastly, the curtains were to short in width so we couldn't block out the flood lighting from the parking lot.
The staff were very friendly.

I liked the safety and location. Free and easy parking. It was quiet. Some things didn't work until we asked: the TV; a nightstand light; our key card; out of coffee one morning. But when we asked, things were eventually taken care of. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The Hotel is in a nice area, check in was great very friendly and helpful, the room not so great, door shakes because the door strike was missing, the walls had patches not painted, the rug was very dirty, the entrance floor was dirty and sticky, the restroom did look clean, bed was clean and comfortable, we had two rooms and this was the same at both, over all I’m not sure I would choose this hotel again

The place had a weird smell to it once you hit second and third floor. People were unpleasant acted like they owned the place and gave us dirty looks when we were getting on the elevator especially a lady that was staying on the third floor. Told us to keep it down because her room rattled when we walked by..

My room smelled like fish. Simone had cooked in the room and it was not properly cleaned or sanitized. Since there were no other rooms available they could. It move me but they should have never rented this room as is. I had to send my daughter to stay with a friend at the hotel next door.

It was just mediocre, morning staff wasn’t great. Room was sort of clean and it was very loud

This room appeared to be quite dirty with a torn curtain that didnt even cover the window, no blankets etc. I slept in my clothes because I was unsure the sheets were clean. The furnishings were thrift store mixup. There was no water, no water in the vending machine and I was told late at night to drive to a store to get water. I could go on but I will never, never go back

I did enjoy the ladies at the desk. Always helpful. But towels were difficult to obtain. Lobby area is not monitored so there is noise and activity at all hours. We were on the bottom floor so we were impacted. Pool area is like a ghost town. No activity. People are smoking on premises and I found that disgusting. The laundry was nice and plenty of parking.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke even though there was a no smoking rule.

Booked a suite with 2 queen beds was told they were overbooked and we were given 2 separate rooms. Breakfast was gone within 15 minutes and not restocked. Requested bottom floor for health reasons not available. AC in room didn't work. Elevator worked intermittently.

Housekeeping needs improvment: hardwood floors were filthy (are they ever mopped?), no bedding in room for hide away bed (was told to come get it at front desk because they wouldn't deliver it to room) and hallways smelled from people cooking in rooms. Maintenance needed everywhere: spackle spot all around room, broken closet shelf, broken sink and tub plugs, empty bracket on wall, hideaway bed had a mattress still wrapped in plastic, smoke alarm battery change beeping in another room, first room assigned had a broken entry lock (we had to change rooms). "Breakfast included" was just coffee and half-sized granola bars. Upon arrival, two check in members were out front of building and spoke to us as we passed them. They did not return to desk to register us until we rang the bell for them. Lots of trash in the parking lot. Will never go back.

We checked in and sent to a "non-smoking" room. The room reeked of smoke. Everything was beat up and the drawer in the small dresser would not stay closed. We left for the evening to come back and have no linens for the pull-out bed. I rang the bell to ask to linens. I was greeted with "what do you want, I just got here." I was then handed 2 fitted sheets and a very thin bed spread. No pillow or blanket. We will never stay at an Extended Stay again. Horrible condition and rude staff.

Bathroom door was broken shower faucet leaked and front door of the room had a hug gap facing the hallway

The room was in Port condition and the service was bad.

The room was clean, but had an odd smell. The lobby’s floor needed a good scrubbing- we were there three days and it never looked as if it had been mopped. The door leading to the pool was broken so I guess people walked around the building to get there. Breakfast consisted of coffee/tea and instant oatmeal and granola bars. It was ok if you’re planning to cook, otherwise, not so much.
