The room was nice, although there was no refrigerator or microwave. The tv service was not very good. They should have had some sort of cable service there. There’s plenty of restaurants in the area and a Walmart. The hotel staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. I was told it used to be a different hotel.

The room was supposed to be non smoking but it smelled like cigarettes. I had to ask the front desk for some air freshener to try to get rid of the smell. The room was damp and even though I am sure housekeeping made the beds and put fresh linen, I am not sure they actually cleaned. There was hair in the top and on the sink counter which did not belong to my daughter or I. They kept my pet deposit when I know for certain neither of our fur babies did any damage. We were there from 1130 pm to 530 am. We were to afraid to use the shower so we just slept a couple hours and left as soon as we could. It was the third day into our four day road trip across country.

It's an old building with minimal upkeep. Room was dark and dingy. Lights by the door did not work, had to walk into a dark room to find additional lighting. Hairdryer did not work but was replaced with a working unit. Room was not serviced during our stay. We had to get our own clean towels, which were stained.

First room we were given had no fridge so we then were given a room on the second floor with a fridge and no garbage can. I wish I had known that we had to carry our things up the steps so that was a bit rough. We could hear everything from the hallway and outside so it made it difficult to sleep. On the positives, the carpets were clean and there was plenty of hot water.

Burn marks around dead outlets. Staff was horrible. I survived. That's about all i can say.

Our room reeked of a wet dog, so we asked for a different room and were accommodated to a much nicer smelling room. While the room was clean, two of the towels were stained. Breakfast left much to be desired…a choice of two dry cereals or oatmeal, waffles , or a pre packaged cinnamon roll. Coffee was weak despite choosing the “bold” option. If you don’t have a pet, you shouldn’t be put in the pet rooms.

The toilet didn't flush properly, the refrigerator didn't work, the hair dryer started smoking and died, and the bathroom was dirty. Very clear that the owners are not concerned about the condition of this motel. Definitely worth it to spend more and go elsewhere.

The room had trash behind trash can in the bathroom, the toilet and sink did not want to drain properly, and housekeeping opened the window, with the air conditioner running while we were out. The hallway and outside of the building smelled of Marijuana. It was the least expensive hotel I found, and it explains why.

We kept trying to change our booking and the hotel didn't want to work with us. They blamed hotels.com and hotels.fom said it was the hotel. All I wanted to do was cancel one day.

It is not directly in the town of Mansfield so it's a little drive to activities in the area. The hotel was clean however there is a lot of repairs to be done. My daughter had a dog & was given a pet friendly room. The chair was scratched up, the lampshade was cracking & it looked like they had tried to paint some areas but couldn't match the paint. They also spayed so much air freshener in the room it was awful. There was trash on the sidewalk and even a beer bottle someone had stuck on a tree branch. The dumpster was overflowing and looked like it hadn't been emptied in weeks. If your looking for somewhere to lay your head overnight, it's okay, however I wouldn't stay there if there was anything else available.

Fridge was broken. Dresser was missing draws. Leather chair was in a bad condition, arms were covered in tears. Lamp shades were covered in tears. And the noise from the highway was loud to say the least. I can't comment on the amenities as I did not utilize any.

First off we reserved a King and they stated that since we had a dog we had to go into one with a two double bed, because it was classified as one of the only two “dog” rooms. They were not double beds, they were super twins. Nothing posted about this on the website and very rude about it.
