We had an amazing 5 days at Cocos hotel. The staff were very polite and helpful. The property is nestled in a hillside so the walking within the property depending we’re your cottage is can be a little challenging ( hills and steps). The outdoor showers were amazing probably the best part of our room.. Love that all the cottages have an amazing view of the beautiful ocean. And the hammock on the balcony was super relaxing. We would love to return. Marcia at the bar on the beach is a love.. She went above and beyond and made our trip fun.

Cocos Resort was amazing. Food and drinks were so delicious. Beaches and rooms/views were breathtaking. Staff was so friendly.

A perfect hotel for a couple to relax and forget about everything. Number one on my list to come back!

Fantastic location! Views are unbeatable! Good workout walking property. They do warn you about it, so take heed, can be strenuous climb. As for the food… We are vegan and they assured us it would not be an issue, it was. Most of the staff were unaware of our dietary restrictions and it made for too many uncomfortable situations in the dining room. Too bad because it’s a beautiful resort.

Let me start by saying my Expedia status (which I believe is the lowest status available) got us a free upgrade to an oceanfront cottage with its own pool. Amazing! This is the single greatest resort we have ever been to. Every aspect was perfection. I’m reassessing my 403b to see how I can retire here. I’m only half joking. But seriously, book Cocos right now! You won’t regret it.

The views were amazing. Food and service was excellent. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The property was amazing. Also having fairly private access to 2 large beaches was very convenient. Unmatched views!!! Also, the all-inclusive food was fantastic (the drinks too)! Highly recommended especially if you arent trying to be around kids with it being an adults only location!

It’s a fair accommodation, made better by the quality of the people. The food -which is all inclusive- is mostly frozen and then microwaved. The food is bland and poorly cooked, but nicely presented. The dining room staff -at all meals- lacks coordination and planning. Staff tries, but there is no logical plan - items arrive at the table in a very uncoordinated way, many times things are forgotten The rooms are nice but need an upgrade, old furnishings, repaired and ill-fitting. No hot water pressure, often times no hot water. Beach chairs are old, heavy and uncomfortable. The staff is wonderful but everything here is in major need of investment.

The location of the hotel and views are very nice but the service is extremely inconsistent with a few good staff members and the majority that seem miserable and annoyed to do their job. The food is also mediocre at best- the deserts are inedible. Lastly the common areas are disappointing with the pool being tucked away in a back area that no ones goes to. Do yourself a favor and go to Cocobay down the street which is much better.

We booked a pool cottage and it was so worth the extra money. Absolutely breathtaking view and it was so nice having a private pool to add some variety to our day. Food was great, as were drinks. Service could be hit or miss every once in a while but excellent on the whole. My only issue was the comfort level of our bed, which was not what I would expect from a resort so nice, but it wasn’t bad enough to put a real damper on our trip. All in all an amazing and unforgettable stay.

First off let me say we had an amazing time, the view and the water is essentially the high price tag you pay for. Food and service is amazing. For HONEYMOONERS, please read my honest and fair review coming from a person who has traveled to many high end resorts. 1. For the price you pay, the hotel lacks major amenenities, the fridde is below sub par, barley any drinks and snacks, NO cold water, you have to walk to a water tank to fill your own water. 2. There are NO bathrobes or slippers, this was dissapointing especially on a honeymoon. 3. The bathroom needs MAJOR renovation, it looks run down, and no proper plugs, the outlet was all the way on top near the mirror, I litterally had to climb on top of the sink to plug my blow dryer in. The bathroom has NO air conditiontiong, styling and putting on your makeup was so uncomforiting and a sweaty disaster especially after showering. It wasn't an ideal experience whil getting dressed. The bath towels are poor quality. 4. The beaches: The staff take NO part in cleanining and organizing or DRYING off wet beach chairs. However they were used the day before is exactly how they are left. For such an expensive hotel, they should be cleaning the chairs every day and reorganzing, its like no one cares, and many of the guests were cleaning and organzing their own beach chairs each day. Another thing is, they dont come around asking for your drink order. 5. Last, the BUGS ATE US ALIVE EACH NIGHT, I WAS ITCHING ENTIRE TRIP.

I loved everything from the nice staff to the clear water on the beach. The food was amazing and the service was the best i have ever expedienced. The room was very clean and provided a very intimate mood in which the wife and i enjoyed. If you are looking for true romance, good food and soul warming entertainment then this is the place you want to book.

The rooms were gorgeous, the staff were lovely and the food was good. There were a few concerns which had nothing to do with the staff, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Concerns were the wait time for food and the cleanliness of the beach and chairs. The debris on the sand was not cleared in the mornings and the beach chairs were stained/dirty with no cushion covers.

The property is beautiful but definitely has some minor issues to be worked on. During the first night at dinner one of the workers asked my husband and I for a tip, even before we had finished dinner. We have absolutely no problem tipping the workers but to ask us while still eating dinner was extremely rude and just left a bad taste in our mouths. Some of the workers were wonderful while others could care less. The food was pretty good, some meals were better then others but any food service is extremely painfully slow so be prepared to wait for food. We waited almost an hour for breakfast one day. We got the room with the plunge pool and sunset view and it was extremely beautiful and nice to have privacy. But the pool never once got cleaned in any way so we stopped using it after a couple of days because it was full of dead bugs and was gross. Beach was beautiful but vendors were annoying. They actually sat on the beach chairs which are meant for guests (and are often completely taken up by 9am) so that was a little annoying.We also had some sort of animal scratching at the roof and walls of our cottage every single night we were there, we called the front desk to see if there was any way they could take a look to see what it was but they really weren’t concerned. We more or less were worried something was going to make it’s way in and it was extremely annoying to be woken up every night. Overall we had a wonderful honeymoon and most of this issues weren’t deal breakers.

Great view, privacy when you want it. Wife and I had a great time. Spring for the private pool if you can. Great food at the restaurant. Drinks were good.

My husband and I loved our stays at Cocos. The beach is pristine blue and the cottages really blend with the nature. The day time Atmosphere is peaceful and quiet but they do have some entertainment at night during the week.Staff was amazing and always willing to help and accommodate. A great Romantic stay perfect for an honeymoon or anniversary 😊

The staff was amazing! One of the staff took us into the capital city on his day off and ensured that we had a great experience. We even attended one of his fundraising events and met some pretty terrific locals. My wife had very strict dietary restrictions and we met with the staff upon arrival and they exceeded all expectations.

This was the most amazing experience truly! The staff is so sweet and kind, the views are breathtaking and the food is so fresh and delicious. This was definitely the experience of a lifetime! We will for sure be back!

Perfect getaway for couples. 2 great beaches. The staff was excellent and very accommodating and personable. The sunset plunge pool was breathtaking.

We looked long and hard for a special, romantic beach vacation. CocosHotel fit the bill. I, like so many others, was greatly impressed with the reviews and photos. We have been here for almost 5 days and everything for which we had hoped has come true. First, the food is literally beyond incredible. The attention to detail, presentation, freshness, and VARIETY is outstanding. The offerings include fresh vegetables, fresh fish, jerk chicken, beef, pasta, salads, sumptuous desserts, freshly made sauces and sumptuous desserts. That has been our greatest joy so far. Secondly is nature. The water is crystal blue, the vegetation is beautiful with birds, tree frogs , and beautiful lizards. Lastly are the people. Kerry Ann, Shereen, Nicolette, Alexis , and Kris just to name a few of the ones that made our trip even more enjoyable. Everyone is happy. It is a joy! Thank you, Cocos for comfort, relaxation, happiness, and peace!! We hope to return.

The staff at Cocos and beauty of this location and island made this trip. We were able to disconnect and enjoy our time here and if you want a low key vacation this it a great spot. Only suggestion would be more variety for lunch and dinner menus. A little disappointed in the seafood options other than fish.
