Great service and very nice room. The pools were amazing too! The only complaint would be checking in.

The hotel, amenities, and staff were great. We visited during the solar eclipse and the place was completely full and there were no issues. We traveled with three small kiddos and there were plenty of activities for them. The only draw back are the sales tactics poolside for liquor and some of the staff are pretty aggressive with their sales approach.

Room was facing North #1829 Cold, No Sun at all! Plus the Nightclub from 10 pm to 4 am everynight ( Boom Boom music) No sleep! Horrible Internet for $50 US Drops every few Seconds😞

Very friendly staff, great food options, not crowded and lots of pool and beach options

Great if you have kids, money, and choose to stay on property. Lose the wristband they give you, $50/day for the rest of your stay. Want to take wrist band off to go off property and not be targeted as a tourist, brings resistance big time. Lose room key card? $200. All inclusive? Good luck on getting convenient reservations. Got kids and money and don't mind being treated like a subversive if you leave the property and spend a little else where? This is the place for you. Beware of people behind counters and desks. The rest of the staff is great all around from security to room service personnel.

The food wasn’t good at all and loud music coming from the night club cross the street from the hotel lasted about 12 hours a day and we end up changing our room on the 18th floor with the ocean view to a level one room with no view at all because of the loud music also the phone wasn’t working in the room to make local calls . Over all I’ll give 2 stars maximum.waste off $$$$$

We always stay here and we love it for the kids. The pool is great fir the kids. Rooms are older but clean and spacious and everything necessary is there. Food is great a little pricey but expected is a resort.

Purchased all inclusive and was not given all inclusive service

Property is too old and outdated and they won't do anything to make it better. They switched us room 4 times before we could get a good room with AC and it still wasn't cleaned right. Even the maintenance people told us how bad this hotel has been getting and the owners don't want to fix it

It was great experience!!

Resort is very nice along with pools and amazing balcony views but it’s about a 7 min drive from the malecón and about a 15 minute walk from all the main shops and the malecón letters

The dining options are amazing and staff are kind in order to be able to book these restaurants you need to pay for the all inclusive option if you don’t you will be limited to an “international buffet” La Pergola which is quite a horrible buffet and the food is quite nasty also the fact that there is only 1 pool for el Moro hotel is incredibly bad it’s filled and can’t have a moment of peace because of kids and the abundance of people around Overall I would rate my experience quite average my highlight would be the Italian restaurant which is beautiful

The service was great, the food was good and the pool was nice. Some areas of the Hotel need to be remodeled, because the building is showing it’s age. Some areas didn’t have A/C like El CID beach Hotel lobby bar. But EL CID Moro Hotel was Good.

Its big but if you don't speak Spanish fluently it's not easy to get things done. Especially the pool side order takers, if you complain they start taking your videos. You get more scared on what will happen to you.

They change my package room to another hotel with very bad condition reason they’re didn’t have no more room they were full. I pay two king bed they gave me one and I request one more for my son they brought 1 twin size really bad condition. The restroom door was not working . The patio door didn’t open they had to fix it if I wanted room service to bring me water 20 pesos charge. Did not like that hotel cid

Property itself was good to excellent as was the staff, but the nightly noise from surrounding bars that went on until 4 am was at times unbearable

I had high expectations about this hotel but unfortunately I had a terrible experience. I arrived and the suite I booked was not available so therefore I had to settle for a downgrade until the one I paid for was available. The shower flooded the first day there and maintenance had to be called. I was moved to my original suite the next day but the AC was not working on one side of the suite but once again the hotel was fully booked so I had no option but to stay at the suite and just use the party of the room that had the working AC . Definitely not a good experience at all .

This resort needs to step it up with a new face lift, very old, rooms are super old and very uncomfortable beds, food was ok but very limited to options and their alcohol for all inclusive option is definitely water down, come on guys step it up, will not stay here again, and why put a swim up bar on the kids pool smh.

I truly wish I could review my wedding and my hotel stay separate because they were completely different experiences...
First with the good: My wedding-- fantastic. Maria Solano is an absolute rockstar and we had a beautiful ceremony and reception. She made sure the event was set up as we discussed, my vendors had no trouble getting on property and most of the food was amazing-- only complaint is that we did NOT get our selected entree of Veal Scaloppini with a butter lime sauce-- instead we got 2 very fatty pork chops with an orange sauce, veggies and a potato tart-- it was ok tasting, however we were very much looking forward to the Veal Scaloppini we had pre-ordered.
Maria really delivers on her wedding packages!
We also had a great housekeeper and a fantastic view from our room.
Now for the bad... we will never stay here again. For as great as Maria was, this was after calling El Cid reservation line MULTIPLE times and being hung up on any time I asked to speak to anyone in English. Even when I spoke Spanish (granted with an American accent, but I can still speak Spanish) I was hung up on REPEATEDLY. I only got into contact with Maria after getting frustrated and emailing El Cid "contact us".
Also-- NO HOT WATER. We had lukewarm water EVERYDAY. the hotel is situated right next to one of the loudest nightclubs I've ever heard in my life. It goes Thursday- Saturday from like 1030pm to 345am. AWFUL BUFFET FOOD AS WELL
4.5 stars for Maria & 1 for hotel

Our daughter got married at the resort! Wonderful experience and we will be back!! All the staff and accommodations were wonderful. The only downside was a club across the street. The music was way too loud and went on into the morning hours. 4:30 am on Saturday morning!! The windows didn’t close properly but when you are on the 16th floor it really isn’t necessary!! We will stay at that resort again but on a different side of the hotel. Our group had 20 rooms and the people who were on the other side didn’t have an issue with the night club noise. The pool, beverages, food and beaches were excellent!!!

Alejandra in the Elite division is exceptional!
Hotel is old and needs a major face lift. Linens and towels were smelly, and stiff. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Your shower will be either scolding lava or feel like the iceberg in Titanic. The surrounding businesses will have you up all night with all of the noise.
Even with Elite bracelet the choice in alcohol was disappointing. Jacuzzi closes at 9.
But make sure to order the bacon cheeseburger at the pool! It was fantastic!

This building needs a massive update, their tequila gave us major stomach problems we later found out they make their own tequila… stick to the vodka and beer. We requested a King bed only to learn when we arrived there are only 5 in the entire hotel. The worst part is the night clubs are right outside the hotel, and they have interior hollow core doors to the balcony and old metal frame windows. So all night you hear the music from 3 different night clubs. If all you want to do is party until 6 am, this is a great place to be, otherwise I would go elsewhere. Our first sets of sheets had cigarette burns in them and when we got there, they were still wet, and the tables in the rooms hadn’t even been wiped down. Due to the noise They moved us to the owners tower which was an improvement but still not good. Finally the beach has multiple marching bands playing constantly, and the water is shallow and the murkiest I’ve seen in Mexico. We love to play in the ocean and snorkel and this just is not the place. When you walk down the beach there is a ton of graffiti and trash. We love Mexico and have gone all over, but this place was just not for us. You definitely won’t want to relax in these rooms. The pools were cold but the best part of the hotel. Also only hot tub is on the elite side. If you plan to eat and drink at the hotel a lot definitely upgrade to Elite. Better food, better drinks, hot tub, and adults pool.

The location was great. Right in the middle of shopping and dining options within walking distance. The room had a gorgeous view of the ocean. The lighting over the bathroom sink was really dim. No light over the tub/shower area. The shower water temperature was inconsistent so it would be either really hot or really cold. The property is located near an open air nightclub which was loud from 10 pm to around 4 am.
