You get what you for mediocre room with mediore service. The continental breakfst was pastrys in a box from likely the food lion and it had the same pastries in the same box 2 days ina row. The juice machine looked like it hadnt been cleaned in a year.

Very thankful to the staff. Left my computer bag behind with passport and staff turned in the bag and overnighted asap. So thankful!

Well appointed and convenient to I-95. Friendly staff and a good place to get to dogs for a run. We are partial to rooms that exit directly to the parking lot, it makes it easier to take the dogs out.

I stayed here because they had 24 hour check-in and breakfast. I arrived at midnight. The facilities were clean, the bed was comfortable, and check-in was easy. While not new, the room was well maintained. The breakfast included cereals, pastry, and self-made waffles.

Check in was quick and efficient. Room was clean with everything we needed. Immediate response from front desk when we called that our tv remote wasn't working. Would definitely consider this hotel again.

Clean and updated. But bed very hard and pillows need to be replaced. Okay for a quick stopover. Leather chair was in bad condition. Would have been better not to have a chair at all.

It was VERY apparent that the sheets were never changed before our arrival. The floors and bathroom were dirty and the faucet was wobbly. We had booked another night for the following week for our return trip and canceled it immediately after seeing this room.

Very comfortable. Had everything for an overnight stay. Breakfast had good make-your-own waffles and well attended to. Could use updated curtains and new pillows, but was fine otherwise.

The property is clean and nicely kept. Although the building is older, the owners are keeping it nice and as up to day as possible. The bathroom is updated and the furniture is nice and new. This property as all the niceties of the surrounding much older overnight lodging. The building is adjacent to and ABC store and that seems to be where the noise is coming from.

At first I was impressed by the updating that was being done to an older motel. However, the bathtub didn't have any nonslip material or mat and my husband slipped and fell and broke a rib. They did not take an accident report but gave us the address of the nearest hospital 1/2 hour away. Pretty much ruined the rest of our vacation with him being in so much pain.

Front desk person seems annoyed that he has to check us in. The refrigerator was making loud noise. The bed has hair in it. The towel has a sticky stain in it. Outside from our room there were peoples hanging out at the store next to the parking lot of the hotel and we can hear them all night.

Location was good for what we were doing, the hotel did have a musty odor and mold in the bathroom and the floors had debris and dirt on them as soon as we entered. it severed it's purpose for our needs.

If you are like us and travel with your fur babies you know that your hotel choices are limited to the lower end motels unless you want to be charged the 'Rolls' in pet fees. This is a great place to stay in Santee, clean room, comfortable bed, pleasant staff, single story, parking in front of your door, restaurants in walking distance. It isn't the Ritz, but it was a good choice fod a nights stay. A/C a bit loud.
