Nice clean place in a good location.

The bathroom was about a small as I’ve ever seen and the door opened into the sink/vanity, so anyone standing there would be hit by the person in the bathroom. The sink looked like it had cracks at the bottom and was about 100 years old. The carpeting was very worn and should be replaced. The sheets on the bed were stained, but we were too tired to call in or care. The gal who checked us in was dressed in jeans and a hoodie and looked like she just came from cleaning a room. Maybe she did, but not very professional. The hotel inside looks worn and could use a facelift just about everywhere. This was priced as some newer hotels in the area, but the condition just doesn’t warrant the price.
This would be one of the last places I would choose in Brainerd/Baxter area.

The bathroom sink was gross, it was a white sink with many cracks that were black, the bed mattress was old and very flat with no cush, the pillows weren't much better

Room had one king size bed and no couch or chair. All pictures online show a pull out couch in the room so when we arrived and there wasn't a pull out couch we asked for a rollaway bed, they don't have those. We had 3 people sleeping in king bed and very uncomfortable.
Room was run down, reviews were not accurate at all. Carpet ripped, looked dirty, etc.

King bed room is really spacious. There is a full-size couch in the room and a lot of space to walk around. Bed was very comfortable. Easy parking and quiet. Very enjoyable.

Paid too much for a very average room. And why can’t a motel room in northern Minnesota have carpeted floors? Pretty cold on bare feet. Power went out in the middle of the night. Breakfast was dismal - waffle machine broken, no fresh fruit and only sweetened cereal unless we wanted biscuits and gravy. We didn’t - we checked out and ate elsewhere.

The overall stay was quiet and staff were professional and friendly. The room was more run down and dirtier than I expected based on previous reviews about recent remodels, etc.

The access into and out of the hotel is not great and requires backtracking to get back on the main road.

Our room was clean, just smelled pretty musty and could some updates! Pillows were just what my husband and I like (not huge like we normally find).

Had a good check-in and stay. Friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was very disappointing though at 8:30 am.very little left with no refills. Will not return.

We were very happy with our stay at Baymont. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We stayed at this hotel in June 2023 and did not hesitate to stay there again.

We had a great time while at the Baymont. The room was as described that fit 5 adults comfortably. The staff is always so kind and always around if you need anything. Breakfast was good. Not a lot of options but what they did have was good quality with super helpful staff.

Particularly liked the room size and appointments. Inhouse laundry was a very nice benefit.
Disappointed in the breakfast area with waffle iron not working and limited fruit selection. Also ice making machine was not working for the four days we were there.

The fitted sheet and mattress pad don’t fit the bed so they kept popping off during the night. There are a lot of mechanical sounds in the walls and a train blew it’s whistle very loudly at 5:00 in the morning.

Had a great time. Staff was relaxed and nice. Hot tub was out of order during our visit but pool was still open.

They did not have carpet in the rooms they had flooring which would’ve been fine because we were in a pet friendly room, but I would’ve preferred it if they would’ve kept the floors cleaner as it felt like you were walking on dirt and you had to wear your shoes.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. They are wonderfully pet friendly and made sure that our dog was comfortable as well. Will definitely stay with them again if we are ever in the area again!

I was in town for a family event. This is one of the highest rated hotels in the area which I get, most people go to this area to stay on the lake, so these Highway hotels are slim pickings. I think folks are being too kind.
When I checked in, there was a man skulking around the lobby. Did he work there or was he a guest? Hard to say, and I probably wouldn’t have cared much except that the front desk agent said my room number out loud. As a woman traveling alone, this is a top security buster.
The room was okay. The bed was great, but it ended there. There was a mirror leaning in the closet that was supposed to be mounted on the wall. An empty cleat where it normally hung. The ironing board was filthy with holes in the liner. There was a hair in both the in room whirlpool tub and the shower. The carpet was inexplicably damp in the entire room.
There was a sign at the front desk letting guests know that due to a staffing shortage, rooms wouldn’t be cleaned daily. This is likely the culprit of the misses but misses they were.
