This Comfort Inn was close to the Highway. It helped us get where we needed quickly the next day. The breakfast was very ample, and we enjoyed staying here. Thank you.

definitely exceeded expectations. Pet friendly and just additional 20 bucks for the dog. Pool was nice as well

Hotel in general was nice. Bed was comfortable, room was above average, breakfast was good. The location was the only thing I really didn’t care for.

We want to Thank, Brandie, Richard, and Mary. They made our stay very lovely. They are all Friendly, knowledgeable of the area, made you feel welcomed, and always curtious. Our room was great, coffee and breakfast was Awesome. If we needed anything it was taken care of. Would highly recommend staying here. Thanks

Here is the good. The room was clean, bed comfortable and nice pillows.
Now for the bad. Two things that weren’t up to our standards. The desk clerk was disengaged and the breakfast was awful. Scrambled eggs were of the consistency of cool wet sawdust, no waffle batter, potatoes were cold with an unusual flavor. It should’ve came with a complementary bottle of pepto bismol.

The rooms were clean and looked to be updated. The breakfast was very good and the area around the inn was quiet and appeared to be quite safe. We wanted a nice spot to get a good night's sleep before judging at world finals for students from around the world who were competing in a creativity competition at the university in East Lansing and this met our needs quite well. Thank you to the personnel at the in for their attention to details We'll be back in two years..

Stayed in room 300. Good breakfast. They had those mini omelets that i like and i saw a breakfast burrito. I didnt try it because im vegetarian and figured there was meat in it. I also did not try the biscuits and gravy for the same reason, but I'm sure many people would appreciate it. Not worth $160. I would expect to pay around $100 for this room. Shower curtain rod needs fixing. It was broke and hanging downward so the curtain wouldnt stay in place. Average hotel, but not a lot of choices in Story City.

Love the bed and pillows and hot tub and pool love the friendly atmosphere.

Nice and clean room. Pretty good breakfast. Easy to find from the highway. Convenient parking. The only downside was we never got any clean towels while we were there. The only ones we had were in the room when we arrived and we didn’t get any more. Over all 4/5 stay.

We were able to upgrade to a jacuzzi suite which was a nice treat for us.

I asked housekeeping to just empty the trash and give us clean towels. Came back to our room that night to the dirty towels still on the bathroom floor and trash cans full. When I went to the front desk in the morning to ask for clean towels to shower the front desk associate accused me of taking too many showers

The staff was so accomodating to our large family gathering for a wedding in the area. Because of a snow storm we were able to all be together in their conference room for dinner, games and being together for the weekend. Excellent customer service, all staff members were so friendly and kind. Thank you to all! Linda

The only complaint I have is that the bed was very uncomfortable. My husband said the same and our 91 year old grandpa who stayed in a different room complained about it as well.

I stay in Story City once a year on average. Comfort Inn is the best of the hotels in town. It is reliably clean, comfortable, and in good condition. Service is always top notch.
