No air conditioning working which made room extremelystuffy, only one plug in room, no duvet just blankets, bed base also ripped..
Very poor lighting in room and bathroom, so no good for make up for women.
Although you keep cases at hotel they were put under stairs and there no security or tagging so anyone could just pick them up.
Breakfast is basic continental with little choice.

The place is well taken care of, clean and the property was in a great area. However we couldn’t get the AC to work making the room uncomfortably hot at night.

I like everything

A weird property overall.

Room booked for four was too small. Fitted four beds (two pull out from sofas) but nothing else.

Great location..a few minutes walk to San Marco Square. Beds were comfortable although there was a strange smell in the room. The room was hot and air conditioning didn't seem to be working so opened the windows. Cooled the room down but as there are no screens on the windows, mosquitoes got in at night. Staff were excellent.

On a plus side the hotel staff on reception were very friendly and helpful, a little difficult to find through the arch but found it in the end. Hotel was dark wood and very old fashioned and tiny room, old blankets on the bed that looked like they needed throwing out. Bed sheets clean but overall was ok as was out all day.

Hard to find very shabby and rooms were dinghy..
Clean though, ok for a one night stop over nothing more

Staff was amazing. Breakfast was included in our stay, very traditional items with amazing coffee. Lots of hot water for our showers. Enjoyed our stay.

This is a very nice hotel with polite staff. Breakfast is available for an addition ten euros and it’s worth it. There’s a lot of meats, cheeses, fruits and pastries. They also have gluten free and lactose free choices.

Exquisite spot.
Super friendly hosts
Kitchen on the roof terrace with friendly pigeons
Flawless

We loved our stay and give it 5 stars within the price point and category! While there were fancier hotels around, this one had great charm, smooth check in, elevator, and comfortable accomodations. Not a bad walk from Rialto Bridge ferry stop, and excellent shopping and restaurants nearby! We will definitely stay again if we return!

Paulo was very accomodating and very nice. The hotel is in few minutes walk to St Mark's square and Rialto Bridge

Our experience at this hotel was amazing. There’s an elevator available and also breakfast that can be included. Conveniently situated as well. We would definitely come back here.
5.0
The rooms were small but richly appointed. The hotel is central so we could stop back many times a day to cool down in the air conditioning.

Great location but very basic service

Olde world charm in the centre of Venice, comfy beds, tasty cold buffet breakfast, friendly staff .... perfect base for exploring the city

Very nice hotel! Kind staff, and offered us luggage storage on our check out date.

It's nice and convenient to everything. Friendly staff!

The hotel is ideally located for a weekend in Venice. The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are spacious. Hotel personnel is polite, check in , check out process is quick. The breakfast offered is basic but nice, in a beautiful terrace. If found at a good price, the hotel is excellent value for money.

They have nobody to do check in and make us waste our time from one hotel to another since the owner has 2 more hotels more than 1 hour at midnight with my elderly mom who was tired and scare breakfast horrible no eggs just coffe, beds terrible

Great location - less than 5mn to San Marco.
Staff was very friendly.
Good place overall.

Hotel is run down bathroom shower rail came down no plug in sink . Electric sockets hanging out of the walls, dangerous entrance at back of hotel via a dirty tunnel noisy the front door bangs and restaurant in front.

Nothing like the pictures. We were led two streets away to a doorway which we then struggle to find later. Rooms were basic, 1plug point, moldy bathroom, views on to brick walls. If I’d been staying longer, I would’ve checked out

Check-in was terrible. We had to go to a different hotel, hotel San Zulian (apparently part of the same business). However, this was not explained so we went to Hotel Citta di Milano to be confronted with a locked door and no information. Had to call and was given directions of where to go. Could have been so much easier!
The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was pretty awful.

The hotel we booked was Citta Di Milano. Reception and breakfast were in Hotel Panada and our room was in Hotel Diana- across the street from Panada (2 meter away :) ) . This was very strange. But the place was great - 1 min. walk to San Marco. The room was good, clean with a mini bar and nice TV. Breakfast was poor - a croisant, small bread, juice, yogurt, honey, jam and a coco cream. You had to ask for butter, because they don't bring it. Very slow service in the breakfast area. Overall nice hotel, but they need to improve breakfast.

A bit difficult to find, but a good stay. Really enjoyed breakfast and the room was clean and functional.

Very dark rooms but they are clean with a fridge, good wifi, warm and good bathrooms. The receptionist was rather defensive when I asked whether the extra 42 Euros hotel tax I was charged was included in my total. Apparently it is extra on top of the taxes we pay on hotel.com. The breakfast was very good and location was fabulous, really central. I would definitely stay here again and the hotel restaurant downstairs is great too. Excellent service in the restaurant with very good pasta and no hidden costs.
2.5
Hotel is exellent, very good location, exellent warm room, friendly satff.
In order to find the entrance, look at the google map.

The staff service was great. They received me late at night with no problem.

Having read some reviews on this hotel after booking I was a little concerned but did not need to worry.
Factual
Hotel is a little difficult to find initially being behind a restaurant on a courtyard, but this is Venice!
Room was clean, and was quiet
Excellent location a few minutes walk from St Marks Sq and probably 5-10 minutes from Rialto bridge
A fantastic base
Simple ‘after hours’ door code to let yourself in after 10pm
Subjective
This is not a Venetian palace overlooking the grand canal and price is reflective of that
Do not expect ‘over the top’ American style customer service
Based on value for money relative to everything else driving the tourism economy in Venice I found this hotel to be well situated, and fantastic value for money.
If you are looking for a base in central Venice near the sights would recommend
5.0
Spacious room, excellent location, easy check-in, excellent breakfast.

Hard to find, but good once found.

The location of this hotel was very good
Receptionist was not helpful at all
People working at the breakfast room was so rude and not helpful I was there for 2 nights and missed breakfast since my hubby got sick and we were at the hospital for the first day and second breakfast day we had flight
I went to reception and asked them for something for hubby he said he can’t do anything go upstairs at 3rd floor and ask I went up stairs
The lady said no the breakfast is over at 10 am I said we were at the hospital give something for my hubby we paid for u
She said no nothing here I went in and there was some fruits I grap an apple was taking another one she said no u can’t take it
So not happy with them at all

This is a basic, slightly old fashioned hotel in a fantastic location. The showers were hot with a good flow and the beds comfortable enough. We chose to eat breakfast out every day so I can’t comment on that. Overall we were happy with the facilities which were clean, but the reception staff were unwelcoming and miserable. Every day a different face more miserable than the last, never a good morning, ignoring our presence, no interaction on checkout. Quite comical really.
4.0
Great location, short walk to St Marks square, interesting decor inside the rooms, small room though but for a single room still perfectly functional and comfortable
3.0
Great location, after check in they changed our hotel to hotel antico panada, room is extremely small, but even more great distance to St Marco Square.
2.0
Great location
