I booked the wrong weekend but the front desk lady was so rude. She wouldn’t even let me wait in lobby while I tried to find a different hotel, so I was out in my car trying to make arrangements and she then sent somebody out to tell us we had to leave. I could have went back this weekend but chose not too

Super cute little motel/marina. Mrs. Kim is so friendly, give her a few minutes of your time and let her show you the beautiful landscaping her husband does.

Awful experience from the initial phone call after booking the room to check in and actually getting in the room. I initially called the hotel, as we were looking for a ground floor room as my partner had just had surgery, the man who answered the phone was so rude, told me I would get what was available and hung up the phone. During my check in process, i waited over 15 minutes for the guest to be checked in ahead of me while taking in the very distinct odours from the owners private suite, door open right off the lobby.
When i not entered the room it was Ok, just Ok. Don't get excited. Bathroom was a joke, tap in the shower dripped continually, the toilet flushed once and did not ever again, the fridge leaked, the tub was dirty and needed a good cleaning and caulking.
Lets just say, i would never stay here nor recommend this as a place to stay.

I’ve stayed here a few times now, solo, two of us and now with my family. Beds are double beds, view of marina, outside has two chairs and small table. Pool out front is comfortable. Owner is strict on pets and has various rules, however, I think that’s great because it’s their business and you can see they take pride in it. Each time was pleasant and a great place to lay your head at night. If you are looking for luxury this won’t be the spot but it’s cute , comfy and I would come back.

Great location and excellent price. The room was big and comfortable and had everything we needed. There was just a couple of things that could use improvement. The air conditioner was ridiculously loud, like it’s on its last days or something. The bathroom could use an update. We couldn’t get the water going and had to go tell someone. Basically there was a pull and turn trick to turn the water on. That shouldn’t be a thing that guests have to figure out. Other than that everything was great! The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable. We purposely wanted a room with a kitchenette and we were happy that everything we needed to cook a meal was available to us.

Property owners were very friendly. Place was close to the gulf which was nice. The only negative was that the walls are thin and we had some noisy neighbors. Overall good experience and would stay again.

Walking distance to the beach and shops. Comfortable spacious room and nice small kitchen. We enjoyed our stay. The area has a lot to offer.

It is a nice place, nice people. A couple things to mention: although towels were clean, they were stained. I wouldn't suggest using stained towels. We were only provided 1 coffee packet but there was 2 of us. Oversight?

There was nothing that I didn't like the place was nice and clean and very quiet so I had to really enjoyable time there I'm definitely will be coming back thank you for everything ⛱️

This is a family owned and run hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room had everything you need, coffee maker, plates, cups, silverware, full size refrigerator, toaster and a hot plate.
The location is right across the street from the beach and a block to the Waffle House and a mile to John's Pass. The area is not as crowded as Clearwater so no fighting the traffic. Would definitely stay again.

The room itself was clean and decent however when I was checking out the first thing the lady at the counter asked me was “did you do any damage to the room?” I found this astonishing and extremely rude, especially since she was pointing at me and speaking to her husband in their native tongue. Of course my response was, “absolutely not! As I mentioned last night I was here for a funeral service and just needed a good night sleep”.

Dirty sheets … needed to wait till almost 9 pm to get a clean sheet … gave me a flat sheet … and it was the fitted sheet that was dirty… had to make the bed myself… never staying here again …. I won’t even let my dog walk around in the room, she’s staying in the stroller till we leave ….

We have stayed here multiple times. Fantastic owners and staff, the rooms have everything you could need for your stay, prefer this over any high rise hotel in the area!

Clean but very, very basic. TV did not have many channels or smart capabilities, linens on the bed were old and had some holes. Only one nightstand. Nowhere to put luggage. No extra linens in closet. There was one tiny bar of soap and the towels felt like sandpaper. The shower was very outdated and stained. Owner’s daughter was very sweet and pleasant.

We were late appx 9:30 check in, had to wait on clerk to come into office. We got the last room, that looked like it had been updated, although the shower wasn't the best. New windows, nice king bed. The window in the bathroom had no coverings, therefore anyone outside could look into the bathroom. Not good when getting out of the shower.

This was one night stay of the 2nd night of our honeymoon.
You get what you expect from a 70 year old building in an old beach community. It wasn't a bad place, clean and comfortable enough.
However, the stay was nightmarish. The person in the room next to us was violently screaming vulgarities among other things, deep into the night, into what I assume was a telephone as her voice was the only one heard. It was not possible to sleep. Eventually the screaming subsided occasionally around 1:30 am maybe, but her TV had been on loudly enough to clearly listen to the programing very well. This went on until at least 4:am. Management did nothing.
Paid for a decent nights sleep which was stolen. I'd like our money back. We eventually fell asleep, woke about 7:am and got the hell out of there.

Reasonably priced for the area. Lots of dining options nearby, from pub grub to 5-star. Very much a beach community vibe.

Unit has everything we need, is clean, and the check in was easy and personable. Dog friendly but all well behaved dogs so far. Peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed.

The staff was super friendly, the hotel room had everything we needed, I'm very thankful to the gentleman who gave us Mangos :) we ate them for breakfast

Listen please. The hotel is cute, comfortable and cheap. However, the owner/manager was not pleasing and direct and rude at the end. We lost our key at midnight and knocked on the office with no answer multiple times and had to sleep in our car. I believe a refund is due. We finally got in the room at 7:00am and left at 11am.

I really liked my stay. Room was large, nice furniture, nice kitchen space. Bathroom not updated but really, not living there. It was fine. Canal view in the back. Walk to the beach in minutes. Nice pool area. Well maintained place. Only complaint is the floor wasn't as clean as it could be. Left over tufts of dog hair under some furniture. And dont get why every place I stay with tile floor is dirty. Couldn't walk barefoot without getting black feet. If I stayed longer would have had the clean it. But for the price, I would definitely stay there again.
