Property was situated along a lovely and busy stretch of the Bay which made the easy to access loads of lovely spots within walking distance. Property itself was quite dingy and the room I stayed in had one very high inaccessible window that made my room feel like a prison. The hotel reception smelt as if all the cigarette been smoked at St Julian's bay was being sucked straight into it. The reception was also dingy and not well lit. The staff's attitude was just ok. They tried to be helpful but it felt surface type most times.

I booked a songle room with balcony and seaview. The view was fantastic, but the balcony really small and a bit worn. But I could fit a chair there and had many nice moments there enjoying the view. The room was Ok and AC worked perfectly. It also had a small fridge which was nice.
All in all a good stay. Everything a little worn and old, but that is only visual.
There was a little shop downstairs where you could buy water, beer, etc. and there was also someone selling tours and excursions.
Breakfast was Ok for a 3 day stay, there was a quite good selection to choose from. If I would have stayed longer, it would be good to have some variety, for example salami instead of the ham etc...
One small complaint. Even though they stated that hanged up towels would not be changed, I got new towels every day. I would like to do my part for the environment and use the same towels for 3 days or even longer.

It was quick one night stay as we were heading to one of the club's in Malta that night. Toilet was fine and beds were good also. However, the room door was very difficult to lock and the room window didn't lock which was a big security concern. I wouldn't stay there again for longer trips.

Amazingly friendly staff, making my time at the hotel a true joy. Especially Anita was really nice and very helpful, handling all my requests with enthusiasm and professionalism. She made my day every day of my stay! Thank you Anita, your care has been very much appreciated!

Overall great stay, I was there for 10 nights total and very well worth the money. Will be staying here again for sure.
Only feedback for property is that the WiFi could use updating. It would not constantly stay connected and would drop frequently. Once this is solved this solved hotel will be perfect for budgeted travels. Again, will be staying

The hotel is in a great location. Accross from St. Julian's beach and few steps from the bus stop. Easy to get to Valletta from here and you can walk to St. George's Bay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bath tub had a leak and they fixed right away after we reported it. I highly recommend the breakfast. It wasn't expensive buy had everything you need to fuel up and get ready for the day. Vending machines at the lobby were a life saver as we arrived after midnight on a Sunday night and all the restaurants were closed. I'd definitely stay here again.

Overall it was a good value for money, Stayed in the Quadruple room for just 50euro/12.50euro per person, was able to get Netflix on the TV using laptop and beds where pretty comfortable, Staff and receptionists where great too, would recommend it to anyone who needs a night out

1. Initially took 45 minutes to check me in upon my arrival.
2. The hotel tried to move me to another hotel about 30 minutes walk away as they had a water leak in the hotel.
3. Did not have any indication that I had already prepaid for my trip, so I had to find proof of this (lucky the app showed this)
4. Midnight on my 1st night, I had a night porter banging on my door and trying to open my door to let another guest sleep in my room.
5. 2nd night I came back to the hotel around 11pm with no one at the reception desk to give me my hotel room key, after about 5 to 10 mins trying to find someone I actually went around the main desk and helped myself to my room key...I cannot state how unacceptable this was from a customer safety aspect.

Very unpleasant receptionist,
Asking 4 times if I speak Italian,
And he keep repeating his questions,
I answered 3 times that I don't,

Large clean room. Security safe was too low, on the floor in the wardrobe. Very large, clean bathroom, but not enough shelf space. Good location. Reception not always manned, but helpful staff.

It was an ok stay. Very basic room, view was of the next appartment, shame as a seaview room would have been a whole different experience. Good location for bars. Cheap and cheerful

This is my go to hotel in Malta although there has been some enforced COVID changes since my last visit
Room on the7th floor was clean and kept clean to a good standard throughout my stay
Staff have changed since my last visit but they remain friendly and Willing to help any request
The breakfast was a bit disappointing but clearly enforced changes due to COVID but the portions were small and it seemed rushed
Compared to previous visits
Overall the hotel remains central to the things I want to visit and is a good base it has retainedits friendly and welcoming manner

The triple room was of good quality and a great value. The hotel staff was very helpful. I thought this hotel actually looked better in person than in the pictures! only one room key and St Julians Bay across the road

Put a tag to clean my room, but when I was back it turned to “Do not disturb”, of course it’s not cleaned and I need to report to front desk.
Staff is helpful but don’t expect friendly
Overrated the price

The first impressions was okay, the reception looked nice and the staff seemed friendly enough.
Upon arriving at our room there was a horrible sewerage smell in the room and we had a lovely view of a very noisy road.
The windows are terrible you can hear everything !
We are not ones to complain so we put up with it, till three days into our stay and upon entering our room i notice the safe was open ( this was shut when we left that morning with our money and passports in) there was 60 euros missing! What makes things worse my mother in law also had money taken fro. Her room too. We spoke to the manager straight away, after she spoke to the cleaner, and reviewed the CCTV (although firstly the cleaner isnt going to admit he took it and secondly the camra was not covering our door, and there certainly shouldn't be camras in the rooms) she said the cleaner said he didn't take it. We got the police involved and she basically said and I quote 'we have insurance that's fine' .
I would not recommend this hotel, and the manager basically has an attitude of well it's not my problem!! We have travelled many places in the world and this is one of the worst hotels we have stayed in.

Nice property and room but when backed on to road you could hear all the noise as windows didn’t shield any noise at all.

Great staff and location. Had a balcony with ocean views.

Nice place and friendly staff does not have a bar or restaurant but their right next door.
Green policy is welcomed to see if you don't request the room to be cleaned then it Wont be.. Overall a really nice hotel, great staff fantastic location

Sound echo's very well in the hall, so you will usually get woke up once every night. $30 a night for sea view room ...awesome. The gift shop man is fantastic. Spend money there.

It was a nice and spacious room, right opposite the river, centre of everything. Overall a very good hotel.

The location of the hotel was excellent, very convenient to places of interest.

Really happy with the hotel, really good location and there is a bus stop only 2 minutes away. Only downfall was having the cleaners knocking on the door every morning at 8/8:30 to clean the room when you are still getting ready to go out

The staff were friendly and approachable, very helpful. Loved the room we had, I emailed them asking for a certain room 403 great views from the balcony and they provided this room. I also mentioned that it was our anniversary and we had a lovely gift and note left for us, many thanks for a great time at Julian bay hotel and we shall come back.

Small property but very cozy and very clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Disappointed by the size of the bathroom which was too small. It was a struggle entering the shower and I couldn't bend to wash my legs the whole week! Although the hotel is in a great location, it is a bit too noise with loud music late into the night. However, the most disappointing aspect of St Julian Bay Hotel is lack of a swimming pool. Imagine going on a Summer holiday without seating with a drink beside a pool. Yes, the beach is a few metres from the hotel but it was always very crowded.

Although it was a lovely location, and the room was good. The bed was very hard, the noise from the corridors was very loud. The staff were not that friendly, we had to wait ages to check in due to a problem with people in front, and when we left they kept our bags in a room but managed to lose one. Thankfully we found it in the foyer behind a pillar and they said another karge group must have taken it. But they did not apologise, this nearly resulted in us missing our shuttle. Also the WIFI in hotel was appalling.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Close to bus stops with many bus routes. Great views from the sea facing windows. And a great place for morning jogging.

This is a lovely hotel, slightly hidden away, but I struggle to talk about the staff as everything was carefree and my only interaction was a very pleasant checking in. This place is excellent value for money

The room didn't have proper windows, felt like a box and it was dark. There was an ant colony in our room. We booked a double room and got a room with 3 single beds.
The room did not look like the pictures on the website at all when we booked.
I would not recommend at all.

Friendly staff, clean hotel, good value. The rooms are well maintained, we tried to extend our stay, but they were booked out. We moved to Kennedy Nova, cost us more and horrible hotel.

Unless you get a room at the front of the hotel I don't think it's really worth going. The view from our room was just buildings, we couldn't use our balcony due to the aircon unit and our bathroom window did not open/close properly. When we did open it we found it was enclosed by a wall on all sides so no draft or natural light came in. Staff were pleasant and location within St Julians ok.
