The bathroom sink was stopped up and couldn't take more than a cup of water. It would eventually drain. Otherwise the room was fine.

Can't believe Hotels.com booked us into this place. I am sure it was nice once but currently it is being gutted. We were the only paying customers. It is incredible we weren't warned about the construction, noise, and lack of all amenities.

Stayed at the Inn for couple days for skiing. Great location,
spacious room, clean and comfortable bedding.
It's 2-star place, so nothing fancy, but very good value for the money.

Nice, well kept motel set back from the main roads. They keep the place up nice, one building was being renovated while we were there. Large rooms with patio or Little balcony. Friendly helpful front desk. Are go to for Bennington.

I have used Expedia dozens of times over the last ten years and everything has always been great. I recently booked a trip to my regular hotel in Bennington, Vermont, but not on Expedia, They weren't listed on the site when i was viewing selections. Apparently, they were undergoing a change in ownership.
Iv'e stayed at the Paradise dozens of times. Always a nice, clean, comfortable establishment to stay at. I have always been happy there.
On a most recent trip there which I booked directly with the hotel with the old ownership, I had a dilemma with my key. I alerted the clerk who stated he would take care of it. When I came back later that night, my room my door was open, deadbolt sticking out, Do Not Disturb sign on the knob. Anyone could have gone in the room and taken my bags, I had a laptop and cash and other valuables in the room. The mgmt. never bothered to call and tell me they hadn't corrected the dilemma. which was associated with a keycard. They just left my room door open and called it a day.
When I complained, the clerk next day said he was informed my family and I were moved to another room, which was never the case. I asked for one of my two night's rate be refunded just to make amends.
It took some haggling, but I was given half a night's rate back which is quite unacceptable. The new owners or staff didn't even seem to care that they put my possessions at risk. I would not recommend the Paradise Inn. They clearly show no regard for their clientele.

We were arriving late and I received a message from the manager with instructions for checking in. It was very easy! The room was clean and quiet, could use some minor updates, but overall a nice midway point for us to stop on our trip!

Transitioning to new owner. Hallways needed vacuuming. Some furniture & carpeting need replacement. Nice spot for summertime. Close to Bennington Museum.

Although the property seems a bit outdated in the rooms the staff was really nice and the yard around it was lovely.
I don’t think housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly as there were food crumbs on the night stand.

This property is behind another property so just follow the map and you should be fine. There is plenty of parking, good rooms and a friendly front desk.

Secondary entrance sign would be appreciated. We arrived at night and totally missed the entrance from the side street by the Bennington Inn.

This old hotel needs to update the furniture phones and beds and bed covering. No microwave or available ice machines near each room. If it going to claim it came with being an old hotel then accommodate older people with ramps or lifts This is a hazard just waiting to take victims as well as make many

No guidance on locating room, water just dribbled out of shower, (no pressure) no one in lobby in morning was told coffee would be ready in lobby 7 in morning, but could be made any time and no coffee in morning (left at 10 min till 7.) Also, phone in room didn't work.

The mattress was way too soft. Terrible nights sleep. Mold was visible on the shower caulking. The room had a musty smell to it.

The Paradise is a very good stay for the money. The room was clean, the water pressure was good, the beds were comfortable, and the towels were soft. The overall vibe was friendly and warm. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a very nice place to stay. The room was nice and had a cool vibe to it. We liked having the patio with screen door so we could enjoy the nice fresh air. We took some extra time in the morning to walk around and enjoy all the flowers. It was a very relaxing environment. Heads up there is no elevator so be aware of needing to carry your suitcase up stairs. That was the only thing but to be honest it was not a deal breaker at all. We would for sure stay here again if we are in the area.

Great overnight stay with my big dog. Very friendly staff and easy, quick check in/out. While it does need updating (think grandma's house in the 90's), it was very clean. Spacious too, which was very helpful with a large dog. Lots of walkable area and Bennington is charming. Pet friendly community. There's a dog park nearby too.

Hotel was good but bed was not the best. Mattress was too soft and bouncy making for a disturbing sleep.

The drive in to the property was full of potholes. The hallway in the north building was dingy and smelled musty. No refrigerator or coffee maker in our room. The window shade and a lamp were not working. This is not what we expected after seeing the rating on Expedia, and we were very disappointed.

We were simply looking for a place to stay for a night. Great location, minimal amenities, but completely adequate for what we needed. I'd have not hesitation in recommending the hotel/motel if you want/need is the basics.
