The hotel was clean and in decent (not great) condition. This hotel & casino was not well designed and so was not convenient to navigate. The staff was helpful and friendly.

well orientation was the only set back to the stay. We kind of were lost when using the elevators. It might be nice to orient people about the difference between the parking garage elevators and the hotel elevators. The place was clean though. Good job!

The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and help full. ! Clean !!!the only thing was there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. It got pretty steamy! Water was nice and hot!

Room was definitely clean. Bed was somewhat comfortable. Needs some updating and when the heat comes on, it was really noisy. Overall, a good stay, definitely felt safe. would stay here again.

I totally understood that we stayed on the older side but the rooms were dirty the carpet in the room we're sticking dirty sheets. One positive was the bus stops right infront

The room was clean except the shower curtain had brown spots on it. If you stayed in the shower more than 2 minutes the bathtub started to fill up. We went to the grill restaurant. I ordered the prime rib and mashed potatoes. They were out of the potatoes. The prime rib was dried out with no juice in it what so ever. Our waiter was hesitant to take it off the bill when I had only taken one bite. He did and didn't offer a replacement. The hotel staff was awesome.

rooms are quiet and staff friendly. definitely showing its age as carpets are worn, furniture showing age etc. The grill was so-so nothing great, we mostly ate at other places. have to take luggage into casino etc to get to room.

THE ROOM WAS OK, NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT. THE WORST PART OF OUR STAY WAS THAT THERE WAS NO HOT WATER IN THE MORNING. THE MANAGER SAID THAT THEY WERE WORKING ON RESTORING THE HOT WATER BUT IT WOULD LIKELY TAKE 2 HOURS BEFORE WE WOULD HAVE HOT WATER, BUT WE HAD A FAMILY FUNERAL TO ATTEND & COULD NOT WAIT. BY THE TIME WE LEFT, IT WAS STARTING TO GET WARM. THE MANAGER SAID THAT HAD WE BOOKED DIRECTLY THRU THEM, HE WOULD HAVE GIVEN US A FULL REFUND BUT SINCE WE BOOKED THRU HOTELS.COM, THE BEST HE COULD DO WAS TO DEDUCT THE HOTEL'S $28 "SERVICE" FEE.

Not enough staff anywhere room did not get cleaned.Had to go down to front desk because no one wouldn’t answer the phones to get blankets,pillows,towels.front desk staff couldn’t get any pillows he was the only person there. 2,sink water barely trickled out of faucet, mirror was cracked, refrigerator all most fell every time y opened it and had to turn it all the way up for it to work.This room should not have been being used. My moms room didn’t get cleaned either!Could not get a Waitress for a drink when you would go to the bar they would want you to play to get a drink! Cafe 2 workers took for ever to get a seat and food, and to pay.went to get a cinnamon bun opened it and fell apart from being so old and hard the next morning exchange it for a cookie was burn. I workers were all very nice I feel bad for them they are all trying very hard to keep that place running. The executives should go and help the staff.

When we travel to Central City, we always stay at the Grand Z Hotel and have enjoyed our previous experiences there. This time, we had no heat in the room and no hot water in the morning. The room was at 62.5 degrees most of the time but did get as warm as 64.5 for a short time. It was uncomfortably cold! In the morning, a hot shower sounded good to try and warm up. However, there were problems with the boiler, so we had no hot water. We were not the only guests with this problem. We have reached out to the manager but haven't received a response. It is disappointing to think our comfort isn't a priority for this hotel. We believe we should be compensated for the inconvenience and uncomfortable temperature. We're still hoping the manager will reach out to us to make things right.

The mattress was terrible. It’s sunk in the middle I guess it was old or something we had a king size bed, lot of noise in the hallway people had no respectful we were sleeping it was 1:30 in the morning last night

The heater in the room was rather loud and kicking on every 20 mins or so. Didn’t like that I had to go back to the lobby to reactivate my key at 3 in the morning and there was no one at the front desk for a while.

House keeping decides to clean rooms early so even though your at a casino and oit late and are ready for rest you will get. One here. The doors banged every minute or 2 for 3 hours cause they put the lock thing out so the door bangs on it everytime they go in and out and even though its early and common se se is that guest are there they don't care. The guy that checked up in was awesome the lady at the front desk when we check out not so much was like trying to explain to a 2 year old and acted like she disnt wven seem to care or want to hear a complaint. I would not recommend staying here if you want to have a good time and get some rest after.

Where do I begin? For the price of these rooms you think you would get something beyond a roadside motel. Stuff was falling off walls, the drawers wouldn’t stay closed, claimed to give you a king size bed that was definitely a queen. The constant going up and down to get to garage and back with an elevator that barely worked. The grill restaurant that took an hour to get our food with one other table and only for it to be wrong. It was kind astounding how terrible this casino hotel is. I feel ripped off. I will not be returning and I suggest you look elsewhere if you’re staying in black hawk/central city.

This was the worst casino I have ever stayed at by far! The rooms are tiny nothing like the photo, the heat wasn’t working properly so my room was freezing. I request a late check out which the front desk told me was ok but then charged my card $180 for a late check out fee when I checked out at 1:00! They are rude and tried to scam my credit card. And you don’t even win enough to play. Horrendous!

It is unacceptable that a hotel of this category in the middle of winter does not have hot water in the room purchased on December 2, and they just say sorry, with that they want to fix everything. This is really annoying,

I liked that it was less crowded and the table game bet minimums are less than Blackhawk! The dealers are great especially Caroline!!

Very nice and clean hotel. The employees are friendly and professional. The room was spacious and clean. The king size bed was nice, and an adjustable thermostat that you can set to your liking. Which came in handy as it snowed during our stay. Would definitely stay here again.
