Family room was a bit misleading, it was a small room with a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed wouldn’t have been comfortable for adults but was fine for a 3 year old. All the staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

The welcome and attention I received when checking in was the best I’ve had in any hotel

Great place, clean tidy, comfortable bed, breakfast was great

This is an OK hotel, some lovely walks in the area, sadly they have now started charging for parking and adding a service charge to already over priced food on a limited menu, Breakfast is awful, poor quality food and you have to ask for fried eggs.
Sine they have added extra charges I will be staying elsewhere, rip off Britain comes to mind, make the most of families that already struggle, and loyal business men

Stayed for business, nice convenient location.
Nice area for a walk.

Very nice rooms

Lovely hotel, amazing staff, couple of niggles, pillows are like bricks, the window was faulty so couldn't close, the food menu was very limited and very expensive, but what I did order was a very good standard

Very friendly staff and accommodating on food as I am gluten and dairy intolerant.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. Enjoyed my stay.

Perfect location for families with young children especially if visiting drayton manor theme park.

Hotel was spotless and well cared for. Only disappointment was the scrambled eggs at breakfast, very grey in colour and tasteless.

Stayed overnight om oir way to Birmingham airport. When booked didnt realize that there was breakfast with Santa, a bit noisey, but acceptable. Good room, dtaff helpful. Plenty of parking at hotel. Enjoyed 5he Christmas decorations. Thomas took us back to when our grandson was little.

Booked as convenient location for a stopover on a journey North to see Family. Totally unaware until we arrived that the hotel is part of a huge theme park, which made us a little nervous of what to expect when we got there. Thankfully, for us the park was closed so none of the noise and crowds one would associate with theme parks.
The hotel was very good as was all the staff, food and facilities. Our room was a good size but not quite as grand as the one in “Hotels.com” advert but good value and included an excellent breakfast.
We would certainly be happy to return but perhaps not during their busy period but it is an excellent family outing option.

Chloe and her manager were brilliant, they were both so helpful and i cannot thank them enough.

Don’t be put off with this hotel being next to a theme park! It’s a great find for large comfortable rooms and reasonable food!

Great location and hotel.room great, comfortable,a bit noisy with external aircon

If I was a family visiting the park it would have been fantastic. This was chosen because it was rated four star and personally I wouldn’t rate it that. Breakfast was good but no pancakes and the sausages where the same as a Holiday Inn Express ( where I’d been the week before). Food not locally sourced or anything special…loaves of bread in plastic bags left on top shelf for when it ran out so definitely cheap stuff! Plenty of it but would prefer quality.

Rooms so relaxing

The room we had was in need of refurbishment and a deep clean. The Wi-Fi is poor which affects the TV. The staff are all polite, efficient and helpful, special thanks to Adam on the front desk. The food is very good and we had an enjoyable stay.

Not an enjoyable stay! We arrived early evening and decided to stay in the room as we had an event (at Drayton Manor) the following day. The room itself appeared nice superficially, but then we had several issues. The TV wasn’t working and it took a good while for maintenance to come and fix it. Then one of the bed sheets was dirty - big fresh grease marks on then, and the pillows had been placed to cover it! We called for someone to come and change the bed - and they brought the wrong size bedding, but had a go! I found black hairs in the bathroom sink and shower area - my colleague has blonde hair, and me light brown! To really complete the stay, I asked for my VAT receipt on arrival and they said they’d email it me. They did - and the address was wrong! I’m now on email number 10 to reservations to get this legal document changed - and they are saying they can’t! Next stop the CEO. Service not good, hotel not clean - would not recommend a stay here, especially after the emails received since staying. To wrap it up, no apology for the dirty bedding, or TV not working … breakfast average but no veggie alternatives available on asking and the coffee tasted like dishwater!!

Probably great for small kids, but feels rather dated and not a lot to attract the business visitor. It was nice and quiet at night though.

The staff were so friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. There was a nice, friendly vibe in the hotel the whole time we were there. The restaurant food was good and breakfast excellent.

Amazing hotel!
The service from ALL members of staff received was above and beyond.
Pre check in was a breeze before heading to the park for the day. You have your own hotel entrance to the park about a 3 min walk away so quicker access.
You are a guest untill you drive away so even after check out you can still use the hotel facilities like the play area or the crazy golf!
The Al A Carte food was delicious and the portion sizes were great. The prices were ok too you'd expect higher for a theme park hotel. Kids main and desert was less than £10.
We are already discussing our next trip.

No way this can be a 4 star hotel. The reception staff were very nice and knew answers to any queries. The amount of inexperienced very young staff we were either served by or noticed definitely need further upskilling especially in the bar and people skills as they looked very miserable overworked and come across rude and ignorant. We was at a wedding here and would not recommend have a wedding or staying at the Drayton manor hotel.😩

We stayed at the hotel due to a local wedding. Very helpful front desk staff who let us check-in early as the room was ready in between the ceremony and reception. Nice room, only complaints were that the pillows were very firm and uncomfortable (we woke up with aching necks), the thermostat we set to 22 degrees before sleeping and at some point during the night it ended up at 24 which was way too warm! Finally the blackout blind didn't cover the whole window which usually wouldn't be a problem but the slither of morning sun was reflected right in our faces so woke us up very early. We booked a room for 2 double beds and our room was only 1 double bed so I would recommend double-checking your room booking with them before staying.

My children different sex had to share a bed with a 9 year age gap.

Visiting family, who live close by

Because it's part of an amusement park it appeared to be mostly families, plenty of children being children, noisy and running around. The hotel itself is ok, the staff were great, bed was comfortable. Room turned out to be a disabled room which i was informed was my fault, lol, not reading the booking correctly. When i booked a single room i was only given one option so didn't really read it all, i just booked it. The bathroom was a wet room with the toilet next to the shower. After a shower the toilet was flooded so it was a case of paddling to use the toilet. I also thought the priced in the bar and restaurant were expensive. Being a solo traveller would probably look at other options next time.

Great service at reception. Incredibly helpful and friendly. Rooms are fine… bed sheets bobbly so need updating and breakfast was barely warm but strong shower, big towels and great size rooms.
5.0
Nice hotel. Convenient. Some maintenance work needs to be done to ensure room facilities don’t start to be an issue. Fix shower controls etc
2.0
Check in staff were very friendly and efficient. Room was comfortable.
However the hotel is fairly isolated with no restaurant alternatives within walking distance. Service in the restaurant and bar was extremely slow. Cannot report on quality of food as gave up after standing in a queue for 15 minutes, with multiple other guests, without any staff member available to seat guests.
4.0
Great check in desk - friendly and efficient. Bar restaurant less so - friendly not efficient. Breakfast was a bonus, and ok. Lots of parking and easy to get to. Will use again
