Overall pleasant stay for one night. Great price, staff, location, condition of hotel and cleanliness of room. Will stay here again

Staff was amazing and friendly!! Hotel was easy to get around!!

Beautiful property. THE STAFF WAS OUTSTANDING, every single one! This includes front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, bar and valet. Clean, comfortable rooms and all common areas also very clean. My only “complaint” is our room faced the hill immediately outside our room. The property is right up against the hill so it was like looking at a wall. Also, don’t stay in Room 126 if you are a non-smoker. The room is immediately inside the door which opens to the smoking patio. 😞. We will definitely stay here again but ask for a different room.

There were personal massagers left in the refrigerator by previous guests. That made us very uneasy about the true cleanliness of the whole room.

This is my third time staying there and it’s always pleasant. Rooms are always clean, staff is always friendly. Restaurants are great to eat at.

We had a great time. The pool area is small and the elevator system is a different. But all and all, we had a great time. Clean comfortable rooms and good restaurant.

Customer service is severely lacking in your front desk team. The friendliest one I encountered, was on grave yard shift. We were given no direction to our room. Once we got in there, there was hair in the bathroom, the outlets were coming out of the wall. We had a sign on our door asking for quiet (dnd), they came into our room?? Was not impressed. We were also woken up by a call from the front desk staff at 8:00 am.

Hotel was great! The rooms were nice, quiet and comfortable. Only complaint was that the casino was hard to get around due to how busy it was and the slots were very tight.

Very nice rooms, staff extremely helpful and nice. Very happy with our stay overall. Plan to return often

Would like the hotel to make better access to smoking guests. Had to go through two elevators , all the way through the casino to go outside.
I appreciate the no smoking facility, but making outdoor patios or something would be so nice- especially since most guests are in deadwood to enjoy gambling, drinking and entertainment.

We had the best time! Staff is so friendly, very clean, and super close to downtown Deadwood! We will be back to stay!

Our room was next to the elevator so all night long we would hear the elevator and the people on it… very loud.. beds were not comfortable very hard.. the room was clean and staff friendly.. don’t know if I would stay there again.

Need to rename it Deadwood Mountain Kennel. Two loud barking dogs make enough noise that I have to call the lobby. I stayed there a month ago and the one of the elevators was "waiting for a part" a month later same sign. I guess they A - Are too cheap to by it, B- there isn’t a machine shop in Rapid City that is competent enough to manufacture the part or C - It is easier to put the burden on the guest than to troubleshoot and repair the elevator part waiting story is just smoke and mirrors. This will be my last stay - tell the elevator fairy tale to someone who will believe it. You want a pigeon go to the park.

Great looking area's. The older buildings converted like this are so great to see the history in the area.

It was horrible, staff was rude upon arrival, no parking due to Christmas party, room heater did not work and hotel vending machines didn’t work either

Everything was pretty good, but the windowsill and some of the bathroom wasn’t cleaned very well. The service at the restaurant at dinner was very slow, but the food was excellent. The service at breakfast was good, but the breakfast was cold. The bed was very comfortable. I loved the sheets! I will stay there again. It was a good experience overall.

Would appreciate the personnel at registration explaining the elevator, confusing on floor level.

The furniture in the executive suite was very uncomfortable. It might be modern and looks nice but uncomfortable. Hate sitting on bed when I'm trying to relax.

This is the best hotel in Deadwood!! It might be the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at!! Everything about it is five stars. It’s clean, sooo quiet, convenient, and the most comfortable beds and pillows. You will not regret staying here.

The hotel itself it lovely. We had a very nice room w/ a comfy bed and pillows. The room was clean. We ate breakfast at the restaurant the next day and it was good (equal to a Village Inn). The front desk clerk, Robyn, was rude. She was unhelpful, not friendly, was rude and demeaning to her newly hired co-worker. I did get a chance to speak to the manager and let her know. Maybe she talked to her employee.

We had a very nice stay. Love Deadwood and the lodging here made everything perfect.

Front desk staff DO NOT CARE, nor do they communicate with guests that check-in may be delayed. If you let guests know they are able to check in on time then they would be happy. No communication regarding the late check-ins due to staff being sick could have been communicated at 12:20pm when we arrived on the property but were told check-in is at 3:00pm. We arrived at the hotel desk at 3:00 and were told it wasn’t ready. We checked in at 3:30pm. The lady offered us free breakfast and we told her we wouldn’t be eating there and she said “if you use it, you use it, if you don’t you don’t. My husband even said that we wouldn’t be eating downstairs.
The casino staff and valet were great.
Rating is all about the front desk clerks. Poor customer service - yes I have worked in a few m/hotels and worked the front desk. We were always told to be honest with the customers and they would be appreciative. This is an accurate training suggestion.
After the 30 minute wait to check-in we came into a room with a dirty mirror in the main part of the room.
In order to obtain our concert tickets, we had to go somewhere other than the players club. It was in the coffee/gift shop. Wasn’t well organized.
In a (handicapped) accessible room the safe is on the lowest shelf - not very accommodating! Wasn’t well thought out.

I had planned on staying at the hotel Friday through Monday. I had to change my plans. I emailed the hotel and called a week early and told them I needed to check out a day early. This was a week before I could have cancelled without penalty. When I checked in the manager told me that I couldn’t check out until Monday because no one had called which was a lie. She was very rude.
The Elevator to the lower level had only 1 working. Which caused a terrible backup in the lobby. The toilet would not stop running water and had fill issues also. I had to take the lid off for the duration of the stay and repeatedly pushed the drain canister to stop the water from running. There was only 1 person waiting tables in the restaurant on a Saturday morning. Which caused a terrible delay. Sunday morning was much better with several waitresses. Ours was very nice. The Valet people were very nice too ! Over all not a comfortable place to stay !

The Hotel & Casino set up is very nice. Had a nice balcony from our room overlooking historic Deadwood!

Convoluted path to get from casino to hotel lobby to room (multiple elevators). Check-in was not as streamlined as it should have been…staffer struggled to go through all the steps. Checkout was quick and efficient (different staffer). Room was comfortable and quiet.
