Le calme et l’espace dans la chambre.
Le service pour le repas était malheureusement en sous effectif et donc assez lent. Les ampoules étaient mal entretenues dans la chambre (une ne marchait pas et l’autre clignotait). Pour le petit déjeuner, trop de clients pour une seule machine à café….

Location and standard of the hotel
You need to like the sound of water in the river as it is very noticeable with windows open. Fine for us.

The reception staff were friendly and courteous.
The view from the room was nice as well.
The bathroom and toilet were new and renovated.
The room was run-down and there was an air duct or something above our heads, so sleeping was out of the question until after 22:00. We could not turn off the air - very uncomfortable.
The coffee machine at breakfast was a farce. Each person had to wait two minutes until the machine warmed up to make a coffee - then the machine would simply stop working to clean itself. Unbelievable !

Günstige Lage für Ausflüge rund um Baden. Unser Auto passte in die Tiefgarage (1,99m Höhe).Sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal. TV System mit Tabletbedienung sehr gut.
Zimmer haben keine Klimaanlage ! Minibar hatte technischen defekt. Personal war aber sehr bemüht das Problem zu lösen.
Die anwesenden Reisegruppen sorgten für ein sehr unruhiges Frühstücksklima.

L'accès à la baignoire trop haute pour une personne âgée. Remplacer par une douche!
Le petit déjeuner mal organisé :une machine à café pour environ 25 personnes et de la nourriture insipide (fromages et charcuterie ,oeufs brouillés gluants et froids, un gille pain pas fonctionnels, des manques pas suivis)
Le bruit du train et des avions et de la rue. mais calme à partir de 23h
Le parking à 25 CHF par jour!!!

Un seul employé du bar, pas très sympathique alors que nous attendions dans le lobby, avant de repartir.

Lovely hotel, spacious rooms. Our room had a great view onto the inner garden. It was quiet and beautiful to look out.

Das Hotel wirbt mit Klimaanlagen im Zimmer, hat aber keine. Es war nachts sehr stickig und es gab keinen Fliegenschutz am Fenster.

Freundliches Personal.
Lage direkt am Fluss. Innenstadt gut zu Fuß erreichbar.
Rost und Schimmel im Badezimmer, Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen und nicht mehr Zeitgemäß. Preise vom Hotel und im Restaurant selbst für Schweizer Verhältnisse komplett überteuert.

Very slow check in and check out process.
Several maintenance issues in the room: missing curtain, broken bulbs.

The staff are very helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the the location is good.
For a four star hotel in Switzerland I really expected better. The room we had was not very well cleaned and it's beginning to feel dated now.

Breakfast was very good! Freshly made pancakes, omelettes, great selection all round. If you haven't tried Ovomaltine, DO IT!
The room was comfortable and our kid enjoyed the sleeper couch. Very good pressure in the shower!
Also, short walk away from the pedestrian section of town.
We had no problems at all, and Hotel Baden was well priced compared to alternatives (keep in mind that everything costs more in Switzerland).

Nice rooms, quiet, very clean, good breakfast excellent coffee.
It was a really hot day, and the rooms don’t have airconditioning (which I understand and which is common in Switzerland). There was a tiny little fan table-top fan to provide some refreshment. But the fan was obviously not powerful enough ti make a difference. My advice: buy proper, silent fans that get some air moving.

The breakfast was excellent! Everything was very clean. It was a good location for what we wanted to do-- about 8 minutes walk to the train station and 15 minutes walk into the central part of the old town. It's lovely to walk the pedestrian path along the river from this location.
I didn't realize there was no AC when I booked this room- luckily it was not too hot but we were a little surprised.

Close to the park, river and the train station. Nice breakfast offering and a spacy room. Pleasant staff.
It was too warm in my room. There was no functioning air-condition and while the fan was provided, it simply wasn't enough. I would have expected an AC in 4 star hotel.

Perfect location in the center of Baden in close proximity to ABB and Trafo area. Friendly and forthcoming staff. Rooms are spacious with fabulously comfy beds. First filling of mini-bar is on the house. Breakfast is good and of high quality items. Parking is not too expensive.
Rooms were very warm in summer. They do offer a fan and windows that open wide for some fresh air.

The room is huge and super comfy with a great big terrace and seating outside. The jacuzzi was also amazing and very big.
The staff was super sweet.
I stayed there the night before my wedding with my maid of honour and my bridesmaids joined me the next morning.
The hotel allowed us a quite late checkout too, so I was able to get the ceremony in time and not wait in the lobby in my wedding dress :)
You can look into the shower and there's no door at the toilet.
