Mediocre. Nice hotel, however, the previous occupant set the alarm for 3 am….. and it jolted us awake. We were unable to turn the alarm off without unplugging it, so after getting up and having to physically turn it off, we were unable to fall back asleep…. Losing 3 hours of sleep.

Great room, comfortable, clean, spacious. Some late night street noise after the bars closed took away from our general enjoyment.

My stay was OK but when we got there the hotel had overbooked and there was no room so they searched and searched and finally we ended up in the handicap room with one bed and I was supposed to have two beds but at least they did everything they could to get me a room?

check in was easy but the first room they gave me, sheets were on the floor, the bed wasn’t made and towels on the floor. i was given an alternative room but was shook up initial. the remainder of the stay was fine.

Front desk didn’t have our rooms ready even though we arrived an hour past our 3 pm checkin time. Ww didn’t get housekeeping during out stay.

Receptionist was extremely rude at check in, pool hasn’t been available for the past year, refrigerator didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, both were replaced quickly though and maintenance crew very friendly. Area around hotel had plenty of options for dining and entertainment within walking distance

The staff was very accommodating in getting adjoining rooms that were clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection of items. We will book there again in the future.

The in room food options are horrible. Popcorn, Hummus, is not what people crave after a long day. Specialty cocktails are double the price of anywhere else.

Pros: The hotel itself is clean. You can tell that housekeeping is a priority. Internet access, which is expected. 24hr gym/workout room. They also advertise a pool, but did not use nor see it. There is a breakfast bar, 7-10am.
Cons: No smart TVs, just basic cable, which was disappointing. Had to pay $10 for parking. Observed a few unruly guests who appeared to be well known and/or on a personal basis by staff at the front desk. These same guests in two carloads followed closely behind my car while passing under the parking garage barrier gate to prevent from paying themselves. If you’re going to charge parking, create a system or have a facility that doesn’t allow others to fraudulently exploit it. These guests appeared to frequent the hotel and something tells me by how seamless it was done that it’s something they do often.

There was no internet service fir 2 days even they front desk mentioned they will compensate for this inconvenience. But when this was brought up during checkout, they pointed out the right person is not available. Even after following later was given the same excuse.

Love this property. Not a lot of options in CU, this is one of the best. Staff is super friendly. Great location. Great cocktails at Punch!

Great check in experience and nice room! Quite clean, and modern decor. Room was a little cold even though we had the heat set high and light from the hallway, under the door, lit up the room. Otherwise, it was comfortable.

I needed lodging in downtown Champaign so I could get around easilywhile on a visit to see family and this was perfect.

This is the best hotel in Champaign, but don't stay here because I always want to get a room and if you stay here than I might not be able to.

Nice hotel in a good location. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Only complaint is the pool was down for renovations. It wasn't at the time of booking, and I wasn't informed until after i checked in and paid. Then told i was basically SOL...Kids weren't very happy as that was a major reason we chose this hotel.
