I was given a handicapped accessible room which meant a lot of floor space but only one chair to sit in (I am not handicapped). The bed was very low to the floor and the mattress had a deep indent ; it really, really needs to be replaced. There was a strong odor of mold/mildew in the bathroom. This was all tolerable but not more.

The entire hotel staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. I feel like the bartender and I are now friends. The property is modern and well-maintained. My room and its bathroom were significantly more spacious than the typical hotel room. While there was some noise from outside the hotel during the day, the interior of the hotel during the evening and night time was among the quietest I have experienced.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location was central to everything .. there were a lot of options in terms of eateries. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. I don’t like having to pay for parking that was a few hymns down for me. The room was clean however I did give it a 4 star and not 5 due to the chair being stained and the room smelled stale. Also the coffee maker did not work. The bed was comfortable though and that made up for the coffee maker. The water was hot also in the shower which was great. Overall rating for the hotel would be 4 out 5 stars.. I would stay here again for sure.

This was our first time staying in Pittsburgh and the staff at Hotel Indigo helped to make it a very nice experience. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was a nice size, and the hotel was a 5 minute drive from some great restaurants. We'd be happy to stay here again.

Friendly staff. Spacious room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Restaurant was lacking in service and options. Street parking or $25 valet.

They have a check in time of 1am . If you’re not checked in by 1am they can steal all your money and not give you a room.

Firstly, there was no fridge or microwave in the room, and for aesthetically pleasing as the room was, that put a damper on our stay to start things off. To make things worse, the bed felt was hard to point it felt like it was a box spring. To make things even worse, there was a mouse dropping my husband unfortunately found in the shower.
We went to the reception desk to complain and were promptly greeted by a service dog that consistently tried growled and tried to approach my husband. After we told the receptionist about the mouse dropping, we quickly were given a new room on another floor…that still had no fridge or microwave. On our way up to that floor, we saw that the dog had urinated in the elevator, and when we went to the old room to gather our things, we saw that the same dog pooped right outside the elevator to make the entire floor smell. The owner had it in a bag in trash can, and at this point, I just wanted to go home.
The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and I couldn’t sleep in the bed another night…so we went home early. On our way out, the front door was broken, so the valet took us to the exit on the side of the building and still pulled our car to the front of the building. We had to walk around. The entire experience was a little on the horrible side.

Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean both inside and outside. Room was huge and comfortable.

Hotel was awesome but if you can find street parking you can park on the street. If not you have to pay $25 for valet parking. Overall the hotel experience was very pleasant.

The stay was pleasant and the service from the Hotel Indigo was just amazing.
Having the restaurant in the hotel was very convenient.

The hotel room had wooden floors instead of carpeting, and the bathrooms featured spacious, immaculate shower booths rather than bathtubs.
It exuded a sense of elegance and cleanliness.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Check in was easy and I included the parking when I booked the reservation which ended up being a good deal. It is usually $25 per night for valet parking but I paid $12 thru Expedia. Hotel is close to Bakery Square. Room was clean.

Me and my family stayed for a funeral and the staff was so in touch with my feelings. They were comforting and very hands on. They made life at that moment easy. I appreciate Tashell and the rest of the staff except Saturday morning kitchen. We didn't even use the complimentary breakfast because she walked away. But anyway from the front door valet to the housekeeper and concierges wonderful ladies and gentlemen. Reggie made sure everything was perfect. The hotel was immaculate.
Thank you Indigo Staff I appreciate you all caring for me in my time of need.

This hotel needs lots of TLC. Lots of chipped paint, mold all over shower, cracks in the wall. Water in room would either be scalding hot or freezing cold. Tried to bring these issues up to the front desk and their solution was to just say sorry. Not happy with our experience and we will not be going back!

Generally ok. The parking issue is a scam. Making you pay someone to park for you. No soap in the room, when I asked they came with one little bar. Linens have such a strong smell it engulfs the room. People were nice though. Good location in East Liberty. No fridge.

Only 2 towels and no soap (bar). We asked 3 times.

Front desk staff was fairly clueless about check in and check out discussions, even though I had contacted them twice before, and followed their instructions. They STILL had no idea what was going on.

I travel to Pittsburgh for business several times a year and I have found the Indigo a perfect location for me and the rooms are large and comfortable. Check in was very easy and friendly . I will be back.

Peeling paint in shower, absent hotel desk service at check in, no room service from hotel restaurant

Indigo needs updating. Floor was dirty, room was not well provisioned. Restaurant/cafe was not well staffed. front desk and valet personnel were excellent. The hotel looks tired and needs an upgrade.

The hotel room was clean and the hotel was in a convenient area. There are plenty of stores in the area. Staff was friendly. The only downfall was the restaurant was not opened for food due to a staffing issue.

Floor was wet when we arrived to our room. Toilets flush but the you need to manually move toilet paper to go down because it’s sooo low flow. Staff was great.

Only complaint: The Valet man who was there after midnight on Saturday night was very rude. We were trying to valet the car, but he was rude to us as if we were annoying for handing him our car keys. He didn't want to give us a ticket or even talk in full sentences to us to help us out. Other than that, it was great. The front desk was friendly, the area is walkable, the rooms were clean, the bed was super comfy, and the price was right.

It is with mixed reviews as Max and Reggie were nice and trying to help us, but after a long day, we were exhausted and wanting to go to bed. I paid extra for a room with two queen beds only to find out the one queen bed was awful - extremely hard and could feel the springs! It should be thrown away. We debated about calling the front as it was late and we just wanted to sleep. Unfortunately, my daughter would not be able to sleep on that bed so I called the front desk.
Reggie - who was very nice - tried to assist us by bringing a mattress pad - that didn't help.
Max - also nice - offered to move rooms to a king room,
We packed our belongings and in our pjs moved rooms - to then find out the toilet didn't work - Reggie called up maintenance who fixed the toilet.
My daughter and I were both freezing that night as the AC wasn't working properly - I got out of bed once during the night to adjust it to make it warmer, but it never worked so we both were extremely cold.
We were exhausted and just wanted to sleep. The accommodations although trying to help us, cost us at least 1.5 hours of hassle and inconvenience (again late at night and tired). In addition, although Max was nice and gave me a credit, I forgot at the time he offered, it was to be expected my room portion to be adjusted as the king rooms are less money than the queen rooms. In hindsight, I feel I should have been offered at a minimum 1/2 off our bill.
