Everyone was so friendly. The front desk staff got us right in and noticed my husband was a veteran and thanked him for his service and then thanks were returned as they talked she made mention of her service in the Army. We were only there passing through, but there will definitely be a return trip to this great establishment.

The front desk was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. Trying to get a drink from the casino bar was anything but easy. It took 3 minutes for someone to come out from the back. Had a very "you're bothering me" attitude.

Clean and comfortable. I was disappointed in the Resturant and bar. We were there to tour Vicksburg Battlefield not to gamble. It was set up for both clients.

Our room on the 2nd floor was very quiet, even with the casino downstairs. The casino was quite active on the Thursday night. Everyone was very friendly.

Check in was easy and quick. Room was ready and clean.
My problem is how the hotel and casino staff handled the problems caused by a major storm. While they were not able to control the weather and subsequent power outage, their communication with guests in the casino at the time and with those staying in the hotel was not good. I would have expected such an organization would have procedures for emergencies such as this in place. I was in the casino and heard one announcement for people to stop playing and remove the vouchers from the machines. This was in anticipation of the power outage.
After that, there was little communication with those basically stuck in the facility. The closest to an announcement was when staff began having guests leave the casino and move to the hotel lobby. I did not hear any 'announcements' about what was going to happen next. I asked one staff member, if I walked up to my 4th floor room, would my door key work. She did not know. Eventually I heard via the grapevine that patrons were being asked/told to leave the building. I finally asked whether those of us with rooms in the hotel were being asked to leave too. The person I spoke with notified another staff member that I need to go to my room and had him allow me and another guest to our rooms and make sure I keys did work.
Emergency preparations should have been in place about keeping patrons informed.

Room was nice enough but the elevator was out and we had to stay on a floor where the staff could escort us through the staff elevator. Also there was no refrigerator.

Check in went well and the gentleman that checked us in was very knowledgeable and informative. Rooms were clean and bed was very comfortable. The lobby/casino area was smoky as others have stated, but our room on the 3rd floor had none of the smoke smell.

Although the hotel is non-smoking the smell of smoke is everywhere due to smoking allowed in the casino and lobby. Sooooo 1970s attitude toward everyone’s health.
Hotel is dated, needs maintenance and no fridge in room.
Casino is small and the machines are tight.

The room was very nice, updated and clean with a great view of the Mississippi. The bed was very firm and comfortable. No issues at all, except the bedside lamp didn’t work. The toilet needs replacing as it’s actually “peeling” inside the bowl! ( never saw THAT before). I was disappointed there was no valet, as I have a mobility scooter, but understand why it’s weekends only. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside of my short stay was losing money.

I understand it was a hotel/casino however, the smell of air freshener smacked you in the face all throughout the place. The casino allows smoking and it smelled like they were trying too hard with no luck to cover it up. The room was ok. Not the cleanest. We didn’t go for the casino but just as a one night getaway. The room was cheap and I’m grateful for that but I guess you get what you pay for. The restaurant on site was awful. The food for dinner was low quality and everything tasted microwaved. The only thing enjoyable was the garlic toast and salad. Felt like Covid restrictions were in play since we had to eat off cheap plastic utensils. We ordered breakfast and it was delivered to our room which was nice. Breakfast was better than dinner by far. Probably wouldn’t stay there again and definitely wouldn’t eat there.

Just one complaint: Why are there little to No hangers in the closet (we had only 2 this visit) AND why are there NO hooks OR towel racks in the bathroom?? We were there for 2 nights, we had to use the 2 hangers in the closet to hang out towels in the bathroom. Also there are no towel racks for hand towels? I posed this very same question Last Year and obviously nothing has changed.

Stayed here with my wife on Spring Break getaway. Won a bit and enjoyed our meals at the Smiley's restaurant. Overall enjoyed it and hope to come back to play some more games at the casino.

My stay was good,room and bathroom cleaned well however 4 the pillows on that bed is really worn out and why the toilet don't have a lid or top on it?

The room was ok, with a view of the roof which is always terrible... Also, the bed was not very comfortable. Other than that, and no refrigerator in the room, it was pretty average.

Hassle at check-in because my reservations are always under my husbands name & I have never had a problem with that at other hotels when he was not with me but this hotel would NOT let me check in untill I called Hotels.com and added my name to the account! I had the confirmation receipt with my e-mail but they still would not allow. This fiasco detained us 30 minutes when we were tired. It is difficult to find the telephone number for Hotels.com now with the change to One Key when it used to be easy to call & a real person answered. Sad!

Pleasant stay. Comfortable, clean room. Quiet and restful. The only drawback is walking through the casino and the restaurant. Neither was desirable but it’s a casino property so there you are.

There are no refrigerators or microwaves in the rooms. No comforters or blankets on beds. No exhaust fans in bathrooms. Just a bare bones basic room. Restaurant in lobby was great last time we visited but quality has taken a steep decline.

The water was barely warm. We couldn’t adjust the temperature enough to make the room comfortable. There were dead bugs in the bathroom.

Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and was hot. I was on the 5th floor and it was very quiet …. Perfect. Had no problems and staff was friendly and polite.

The first room they put me in did not have a river view but when I asked at the front desk they switched me to a room where I could watch the barges come down the river. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the bed was really comfy. My only complaint would be that the restaurant did not have a full menu due to water pressure issues. we ended up having a pizza delivered from Dominos.

I stayed here once before and it was good for me. Of course it would have been better if I had won at the casino. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff at the hotel and casino were excellent. I just needed to escape the rain for awhile.

A clean, comfortable, large room. No fridge or microwave but we did not need those. The food in the restaurant on first floor was excellent. We had a great nights sleep. The view of the Mississippi River was beautiful.

Fast friendly check in. Room was a good size but lacked a refrig and could have been cleaner. Floors needed to be vacuumed and dust was present in most of the room. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean.

Hotel was nice and room was comfy. Staff were friendly. A winter storm came through while we were visiting so none of the restaurants were open in the casino which made it difficult to get food.
