Lots of funky old world charm. Christina was always helpful, enthusiastic, friendly. My room, Lavadera, was attractive, comfortable but smelled musty.

We are a couple and we stayed 3 nights in the hotel, the room was fantastic.

It is a beautiful property with very nice furnishings and it was frustrating to be somewhat disappointed by the stay. Almost like sleeping in a museum. However, there were some issues: 1. Hot water was completely unreliable. 2. The bottled water tasted horrible. 3. The bedding linen and blankets were of low quality and should be replaced with a proper duvet style and cotton sheets. 4. The breakfast food was mediocre. 5. The room (La Tina) was quite loud in the mornings, with the bed vibrating from passing buses on the street. They should put the bed on a rubber mat or use rubber feet to minimise this. The bed was quite rattly overall too. With some small changes, the property could be improved significantly.

A different kind of experience, original, personalized service

Nice boutique B&B. The mattress is bit too hard, and the breakfast option is very limited. The gate is locked during the night. So better figure out how to get out if you are an early bird. But other than that, nothing to complain.

The hotel is very well located close to the historic center. Almost all rooms are located around the restaurant so the place becomes very noisy (specially Lavadero room) starting at 7am and finishing quite late. We were unlucky as we were moved to a different room because of noise and we were placed side by side with a Salon where there was a party going on until 1 am. Although the staff was nice and helpful we were unable to truly enjoy the stay and get some rest On a side note, once you arrive you give the car keys and the staff is in charge to park your car on a parking out of the hotel premises. However one night, the staff left our rented car parked on the street instead of the parking and the car plates dissappeared. Whether they were removed because of a parking violation or vandalism is still unclear but the hotel should be held responsible either way. Once the bill from the rental car company arrives I will try to sort it out. I wish I could give a better rating as the staff was very friendly, but the hotel is not run in a very professional way.

Nice and cozy boutique hotel. Located within walking distance of Callejón del Sapo, The Cathedral and major museums and historic sites. Staff is fantastic and breakfast a pleasant surprise! There is a small and very original bar to secure a good cocktail before going to sleep!
