Clean and tidy. Ice can be retrieved from the office, and they will fill up a bucket. Nice breakfast including freshly made waffles. Only concern was it was a bit loud from outside street noises.

I loved staying at the Lincklaen House. It was a perfect, relaxing spot in spite of a hectic weekend. I could really relax and the location is perfect. It's right in town and only two blocks from the lake.

A beautiful historic hotel in the village of Cazenovia, NY. Comfortable, relaxing, with friendly and helpful staff. Three choices for dining on site: The main dining room adjacent to the lobby, the Tavern downstairs, and a Pizzaria (awesome hand-made pizzas!

Not having an elevator was a bit hard. The room needed a good detailed clean. Dust and crumbs along the bed frames that looked to be there awhile. Mattress was a bit hard. Was directly in town so didnt realize it would be so noisey. Staff were very pleasant. Quaintly decorated and old hotel so cant expect perfection or like bigger hotels. But at top of stairs in
hallway before turning to find our room there was a urine like smell just at the top on second floor. Unsure if someone had an accident or what. Not likely to stay again.

Very nice place. Would stay there again if ever in the area.

Beautiful,old classic hotel.
I'd add photos unfortunately Hotels.com app isn't allowing me to do that.

Unfortunately our stay here was very disappointing. The hotel has a great history in a charming city, Cazenovia, but unfortunately it has become quite shabby. The bathroom was nice and clean, as well as the surface cleaning in the room, but everything else needs a good deep cleaning (ie. blinds, carpets, windows, etc.) Throw pillows and upholstered furniture had holes and were very worn. The quality of the included breakfast was very poor. Some of the bread provided for toast was moldy and things just did not seem fresh. The pictures online must have been taken years ago because they looked much better tban the reality. I don't like to be so critical, but this is not a place I would ever stay again.

It is a historic building, close to 150 years old - so there is certain charm. But the stay was not really comfortable. First of all, there is no elevator - so you have to lug your luggage up the stairs. There is no coffee or tea maker available - either in the room or the lobby. No microwave or refrigerator, common things that are available in other hotels. The beds are not comfortable, and the bathroom door doesn't lock. Our room was way too warm - so we had to open the windows, letting in all the road noise. The carpets are old and not clean. Breakfast was very limited, worse than chain hotels. Not like bed and breakfast at all. It was a place just okay to spend the night somehow, sorry to say.

We climbed stairs to the third floor and found our room was clean and the linens and towels were soft and comfy. The bathroom and room ceiling could have used some paint, and the lamp was very dusty. However, this is a beautifully old, historic building and things aren’t going to be hotel-like. The Lincklaen House dinner at was convenient and fantastic with great service. I definitely would come again.

Had a very enjoyable stay - we arrived early and were able to check in - that was a big help - we were in the area for a job interview- it was greatly appreciated to be able to get ready in the room to freshen up after our 3.5 hour ride - thanks again

Unique old gem of a hotel in the middle of town. Awesome charm, great restaurant in the hotel, and close to everything else. Walls in room a bit thin

Wonderful classic historical building with staff that are unbelievably accommodating

The Inn can be very noisy when the bar gets out. Also there is no sound proofing between the floors. I had an elephant above me.

The beds were very comfortable. The room was a very good size.

Loved the charm of this hotel. Reminded me more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room was large and clean, bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't spend much time in Cazenovia itself, but its very attractive. The only negative was weak water pressure in the shower (but plenty of hot water)

What a charming place to stay! Cazenovia is an adorable town and the location of the Lincklaen House is perfect, since you can walk to restaurants and shops. Convenient parking and easy check-in. The wifi didn't work on my trip and there is no elevator, but the staff is super friendly, the room was comfortable and I enjoyed my solo overnight.

Overall this is a nice place to stay in Cazenovia. The hotel is a beautiful historical building and our suite was huge and comfortable. The only downside to staying in a historical hotel is that you’d better pack light or be a strong person to carry your suitcase because there is no elevator. Didn’t stop us but definitely should have packed differently if we were thinking. The suite was the largest we’ve stayed in. A great deal for the price. Certainly suited to a longer stay as they had a full size fridge and a microwave. We didn’t stay long enough to try the jetted tub in our bathroom. Bed was very comfortable which is a must for us. TV in large living room area and bedroom. See photos of the place! Also, we had dinner at the hotel and the food and service was very good.

I liked the atmosphere, unlike being at a chain hotel.

Bed was comfortable. We didn’t know our room would face the street - the Main Street, and it was noisy. For much of the night. Trucks. I guess that is what “Basic” means? And there was a single, small bar of soap, which we didn’t realize till too late. No grab bars in tub. If we come again, we will ask more questions.

Great, unique place to stay. The tavern in the basement had wonderful food. Would stay again!

We've stayed at Linklaen many times and have always been pleased. The inn's hospitality to our dogs have been an extra plus.

This is not a B&B. It’s a big old hotel, comfortable and clean, but not the sweet cottage I expect to see when it’s advertised as a B&B. The breakfast was serve yourself “continental” like any hotel these days. Nothing like what I get at a real B&B. On the other hand, the food in their Tavern was exceptional!

Wish that we had arrived earlier in the day to explained the town more thoroughly. Cosy bar in the basement.

Great stay. Quiet inn with nice on-site bar and restaurant. It’s historic and older, so some things are a little older or well used, but beyond that, it’s a lovely inn with kind, attentive staff!

What a great place! I cannot say enough about the staff, the ambiance of the hotel, and the comfort that The Lincklaen House offers to its guests. Room service A+++, The bed was comfy and the room was nice and clean. The historical touches really make the stay. It may not be the most modern and some of the decor is a little worn but for the price, it was a great retreat for a couple of days. Highly recommend!

Great old place with a bed and breakfast vibe. Food was great, staff very nice.

For the price, I would’ve expected a better spread for what was listed as a continental breakfast. Otherwise, this was adorable and I’d likely go back

Love the restored hotel and the accomodations as well as the restaurant. Staff were excellent.
Room on front upper floor of hotel has inadequate window coverings to shut out brilliant street lighting and traffic noise on main street in front of hotel. Needs blackout curtains.

I wanted to love this classic hotel which reminds me very much of old hotels in England.
Room (308) is in serious need of refreshing. Carpet is quite dirty but also faded enough to warrant replacement. Room very much needs paint. This place was charming at one time, and while still holding that potential, its rose has faded.
"Continental breakfast" (included) was basic to the point of meager. Even the coffee was weak, and after I started drinking it I realized the cup was not at all clean.
It will take investment to make this place what it could be. But for now it's an OK place to stay, but not much more than that.
