The resort is very good, with the exception of the service. Teams lack training. Another thing - the early check-in and late check-out benefits described for Hotels.com Gold members do not exist. They wanted to charge me USD 100 per hour in addition to checkout time.

Felt safe, staff was amazing!! Will definitely be going back

There was not enough food options, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the room and the grounds was very clean. It’s a little long wait for the room cleaning, long wait for the order at the restaurant. Overall the experience of my daughter’s wedding on the resort was excellent!!!

This Resort is breathtakingly beautiful. It’s tranquil and romantic. The staff are all pleasant and courteous. Downsides are there’s not enough good food options, they don’t offer room service and the staff are happily and loudly working the grounds early so you can NOT sleep in.
All in all I loved it but I try another place to stay if I came back to curaçao.

We had a lovely stay at the Coral Estates. We loved the location even though it was about a half hour outside Willemstad. It allowed for a more peaceful vacation. Thank you to all the staff who make the resort a wonderful place to vacation.

Great location if you like a peaceful, relaxing environment and want to be closest to the best snorkeling beaches on the island. We really enjoyed our stay here. The resort is on the ocean with a coral rock beach, dive center, and snorkeling. The rooms have a kitchenette (we made all our own meals) as well as several restaurants. We drove west up the island to Playa Lagun, Klein Knip, and Grote Knip. Beautiful, warm, clear water with terrific snorkeling. In front of the resort the snorkeling is fine - but even better further west. The resort is set in an area of developed residences and has security. However there is very little infrastructure nearby. We got a rental car from the airport, stopped at the grocery store near Willemstad, and then stayed at the resort and went to nearby beaches and were very happy. If you want more shopping, dining, resort activities like golf etc. you would be happier in Willemstad area. This was perfect for us. Also - note deluxe ocean view rooms (which we had) online show the picture from the second story rooms. They are lovely - looking over the resort to the ocean. The ground level deluxe ocean view rooms have a lesser view. We found the customer service to be excellent. We were able to add an electric skillet to our kitchenette to do more cooking. We got beach towels at check in and could exchange them daily. We always were able to get fresh bath towels if needed. The VIP Access $80 value was just discount coupons.

Loved everything about the resort, staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk helped us with everything and bar staff was very nice. 10/10

Our experience at the Coral Estate Luxury Resort was terrible. Service, room, staff, food choices, spa services, amenities nothing is close to Luxury as defined. Staff were not friendly or helpful. Bare minimum service just for you to get through your stay. We booked ocean view deluxe room from Expedia but we were assigned to the room with garden/ spa building view. Expedia did compensated with one key cash credit for the inconvenience but still you go on your vacation with the mindset to get what you booked not have to occupy your vacation time making arrangements. Overall, I do not recommend this resort. Food in the resort is not that great so you will have to drive out of the resort, might as well stay close where you can find restaurants and just make that drive to beaches. Expedia should not list this resort as VIP access, it’s a scam. You will not get your $80 resort credit, $80 is divided into different services in the resort. So you will have to spend more to get your $80 resort credit, not worth it.

We liked a lot. For those looking for tranquility, this is the best place.

I thought the food was mediocre and over priced

The facilities are very good, the only unsatisfactory aspect was the quality of the bed. A low quality or poor condition mattress

Coral Estate Luxury Resort was a great property for my wife and I on our 29th wedding anniversary,we had a vip suite overlooking the water that was just beautiful to wake-up to every morning. The whole resort had a tranquility about it just perfect for a relaxing couples vacation. The staff was very accommodating with all requests. The resort has several restaurants for your eating convenience which we used quite often the bakery / pizza place did an amazing job making pizza's,soups, cakes and pastries. The resort is located on the mid to northern portion of the island ,get a car because all the best beaches are just minutes away, very safe to drive too.

Nice located resort
But very off from other service
Better information that there is no minimarket in the hotel area
Very zlow service in the restaurants

In my opinion this was a really nice basic resort hotel. The location was perfect for exploring great beaches up the coast and close enough to do a day trip to Willemstad. The hotel beach is ok for snorkeling but not swimming. The rooms were good and we had a really nice view of the sea. The restaurants were accommodating to my gluten free diet and understood food allergies. The staff was always helpful and very polite. Overall, everything was great!

The resort was ok . The bedsheets had holes in them , the pillows were super uncomfortable. It’s too bad the two restaurants on site had bad food we would have enjoyed it more . Being a VIP member served no purpose at this resort they gave us ‘coupons’ as our 80$ credit to spend even more. We had to fight to have a 1 hour late check out even though our room was never cleaned before 5 pm. The beach was gorgeous but you have to get up really early to have seats that are damaged and broken on the beach. We ended up going to other beaches to enjoy a comfy chair
. The pool was tiny and was packed with kids . Too bad they have no gym or tennis court to be able to be active . Only upsides : the bakery , good cofee and pizza and the spa.

We enjoyed our stay at this property and were happy we we chose here as we were originally going to stay in Willemstad. We went on a day trip to Willemstad and it was overcrowded and the beach was man made and packed. Although there were more food/restaurant options, we preferred the quietness of our resort. We stayed in the VIP area so had access to our own adults only pool which was shared with others but not a lot. The property is placed in the middle of the Island which means if you have a car you can travel north to check out all the beaches (you will need reef shoes though as there is lots of coral getting in/out of water). The beaches were beautiful and water was so blue! The rooms at the resort had everything that you needed, we cooked our own breakfast each day on the electric fry pan provided and then ate at the restaurants for lunch and dinner (as well as around the Island). Definitely would recommend a rental car. Staff were a bit slow at getting things done but were friendly enough. The rooms felt like they needed a few extras just to make it a bit cozy (floor mat, hooks to hang towels, mosquito net for door etc) but overall couldn't complain! Lots of parking and the resort was safe.

This property had access to a pool, the beach, some dining, and minimal shopping. However, the resort itself did not have actual activities for the guests, other than the usual daily activities it had scheduled on a weekly basis. No complaints about the resort amenities itself, but more comments about the limitations we had with activities, taxi rides, and things to do off the resort. Taxi service was very difficult to arrange. Curacao does not have Uber or Lyft and even coming to the resort from the airport was a task. Taxis here do not pester you for a ride, rather you need to pester them, and it seemed as though taxis were not interested in driving to this resort because of how "far" it was (only 20-25 mins). The price of the taxi is another thing. Nothing under $50 EACH WAY to go pretty much anywhere, and make sure you book a rental car a few weeks in advance because they were sold out of cars through the entirety of our stay. They also ran out of snorkels on the beach, so reserve those too. If you are the type of traveler who likes to book things upon arrival in your destination, this is not the place to do it. Better to book things well in advance, but mostly a car so you don't feel stuck at the resort with the overpriced taxi drivers at your mercy. If you are looking for a place to just relax, eat, swim, and sleep, this is it. If you are looking for a place where you can explore more of the island, enjoy night life, or see the city, this resort may not be it.

I’m general we enjoy our stay, the staff friendly, rooms beautiful and well equipped. Beaches around are all nice too.
Cons: to use the pool you have to consume, to use the beach chairs you have to consume. I don't recommend the beachfront restaurant for dinner, expensive for what it offers.

It was a business/pleasure trip for us. One comment: have more towels in the room.

This property is WAY out of town, not much else to do once you get out there. Having said that, the snorkeling was amazing, service top notch, and we felt very safe and well taken care of while we were there. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It's $60 for a taxi to town and back still highly recommend spending a day there! Would have stopped at the store on the way to resort if we had known how far out we were but the resort actually ended up having everything we needed. The hiking trail was a mile away from the resort. We love hiking/walking but with the heat the extra mile to and from the trail made it a little more than we planned, turned a 3 mile hike into 5, but we found it enjoyable. Can't say enough good about the staff. The beach staff was always available and ready with a snack or drink, the front desk was very helpful and the Korral Resteraunt was top notch food, service and view! The pool was clean and always had chairs available. The cleaning and maintenance staff was always busy, did a great job and always had a smile. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing vacation this is the place to go!!

we came a couple of hours (after a long trip) before checking time (3pm) and also the room was ready reception said that we had to wait (took for ever to know if the room was actually ready or not); they would not allow us to get into the room unless we paid an early arrival fee! (I have never seen this in any hotel around the world!). Unbelievable

This is Not luxury resort! They do not have shower doors so the room fills with water as you shower. They expect you to push the water down the drain after every use. We were serve cold food at every meal. The resort charges 6 usd for 5 oz beers and 11usd for a Corona. The mixed drinks are 15 usd and its waterdowned .The menu is poor choices we were servered spoil food. We were served under cooked food. The staff is rude and service is poor. We had money stolen from our room. Management does not interact with the clients. The resort is so far from anything you are forced to eat and drink what the have.
We asked what the soup of the day was and the guy put his finger in the container and sucked on his finger and said it was good did I want some. There is no beach. It a dirt filled area they made with steps going into the ocean. There is no breakfast of your choice they bring you what they want and it changed everyday. Everyday a new cook there are no chefs there and everyday the plate of food changes but the menu does not. The walls are cracked the tv is small and nothing but youtube and netflix which you have to have your own account.
This place takes advantage of their clients by charging outrageous prices because you can not go anywhere else to eat or drink. They force you to buy a dink or food to use the lounge chairs by the pool or in their 30ft fake beach area. There is a insect problem in the fake beach area. Cheap hotel with luxury prices.

Calls itself luxury, but not the case. I stayed in the VIP area, which was a small saving grace as it gave access to a private pool and chair area. Otherwise, you’d be packed in around a pool area where you were not to bring outside drink or food into. Instead, you were forced to order from an overpriced restaurant. Same goes for the water front area, restaurant even more expensive and you had to order from it to use the chairs. No beach.

The resort is beautiful and the villa was fantastic. About 30 minutes to the city & beaches so rent a car!!

Resort was wonderful although the mandatory consumptions when using the pool and beach beds kind of annoyed us.

Studio suite had everything we needed though it would have been helpful to have salt and pepper and basic spices and oil in the unit to cook witb if needed.
Definately needed a car.
Location was good for what we wanted tk do which was relax and checkout island.
There is not much of a beach at the resort.
I was glad we paid the extra to have access to a small pool because there was an expectation of paying to access the main pool and this was not clearly indicated online.
The view and sun sets were spectacular.
Overall a wonderful experience.

Some staff are friendly some are outright rude!
They still use mechanical keys for the room doors in 2023 and keep misplacing them.
Our room was only cleaned 3 times on a 7 day stay.
The resort is lovely, the rooms are spacious but service is questionable.

Nice property with good amenities. The Spa was very enjoyable. Personnel is friendly. Great place for a weekend stay.
4.0
Beautiful grounds and well maintained. The room was clean. Dislikes: no facecloths or hand towels, the cold water was very warm all the time, no shower door--had to squeegee the floor which was very slippery, very dim lighting in the bathroom, the bathroom is not air conditioned, the bed sagged badly towards the middle since it was two mattresses put together. The food on the premises is expensive for what you get. The food at the Korraal was so-so at best. This isn't the fault of the resort, but finding good food anywhere close is impossible.

Just wish there were more things to do on the property besides the pool, the beach and scuba diving. Enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the food options. There could have been more of them as well.

The views the cleanliness and the service staff was excellent but some of the staff at the desk was lackadaisical

The view was amazing! The staff were extremely helpful and attentive, especially Triana. We did have an issue with our toilet bowl, but Sarah took care of it immediately. We were switched to a new room (VIP) with a private pool, given complimentary champagne ( celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary) and free breakfast!

Staff at the front desk were extremely unfriendly. Their attitude was as if they're doing us, the customer, a favor of helping us with check-in. Some tourists from Spain that were also checking in asked us if they might have done something wrong that caused this attitude from the staff.
These people definitely need training when it comes to how one should treat people.

Great place! Very convenient, well maintained, quiet and clean! Great staff!

Stuff was really rude. When we checked in to the hotel, no one showed us where our room was and when we checked out, they did not ask us how our holiday was. When I asked where my room was, they showed me with a hand sign, they were not helpful at all and their faces were very sullen.
Staff wasnt happy and they didnt like what they're doing.
