Nice hotel, our room had a view of the ocean, all was very modern, with a comfortable bed. I checked in at 8pm and the room key was sitting on the unattended counter. So it's quite a trusting place. There was an emergency number in case you mislaid your room key.

Very clean and comfortable

Very cute place and very walkable!

The lady that runs the hotel is sweet and understanding. Let me use the microwave downstairs and even changed my room when I had a small issue with the room. Great stay. The only hotel I stayed twice on my trip to Iceland

good condition and convivence, breakfast is Excellent.

Great location in easy reach of the airport. This is a lovely quiet hotel next to the sea front and in the centre of Keflavik so it’s a nice area to walk around as well. We liked the self service element and also the early breakfast buffet.

There is an issue with the staff, they don’t speak English very well when I checked in they informed me my reservation didn’t include breakfast however it clearly stated free continental breakfast and mentioned it’s an issue with Expedia. After reaching out to Expedia they advised that breakfast was included when I walked down a female approached me to ask my room number and proceeded to say “you need to pay” despite showing her the conversation with Expedia and the advertisement about their “hotel” they declined to allow us to have breakfast without paying and she didn’t understand English so she just kept saying ok extremely misleading information

The property was clean and room space was decent. However, the guy at the front desk told us we do not have breakfast included which was incorrect. According to the Expedia website where I purchased the stay, it mentions that free breakfast is included. He kept insisting then when I showed him the information online, he just said "ok". I was a bit confused. I asked to speak with the supervisor and supposedly he's the supervisor. Please update your amenities for future customers, if this isn't the case.

Clean and comfortable place to sleep near the airport with easy access to the grocery store and restaurants

I booked a room with a bathtub to relieve the fatigue from the long long flight, and it was a right decision. But just note that the amenities shown in the photos are not provided in the bathroom.
The room was clean, there was an elevator, and there were supermarkets nearby.
Breakfast was simple but good!!

The property is close to the airport, close to dining options. Room is nice size.

Nice hotel and great location. Beds were good and easy check in. Bathrooms and floor were okay. Wi-Fi was really weak in room 209 (family room) and we weren’t able to use it without walking down to the lobby. Overall a good stay for what we needed.

This is a convenient hotel if you arrive late in Reykjavik or if you leaving early. The international Airport of Keyflavik is an hour away of Reykjavik, and the hotel is 10 minutes away from the airport. Pros: location close to the airport, easy parking, breakfast starts at 4 am
Cons: no human presence (All is done through emails), no food available of you arriving late, no shuttle to the airport.

Room was spacious, clean and nicely laid out, bathroom was large and well presented, was nice and warm and beds were comfortable

I would return to hotel jazz again and again and again! It was clean. It was convenient. It was warm. It had everything I could need or want. Located in Keflavík it’s super easy to get in and out of the airport, but it’s also in the much overlooked town of Keflavík, which is a fantastic fantastic town. I’ve been to Reykjavík several times and never spent much time in Keflavík. I’m glad I did on this trip! I found a delightful location that is a perfect host for my future visits!

The Jazz hotel is in the middle of a residencial neighborhood. It is primarily convenient due to its proximity to the airport. We found 1 dinner-time restaurant (the Library Restaurant) 5mns by foot from the hotel. During your stay at the Jazz hotel, you may not see the staff. They do not answer the phone or respond to email inquiries. Breakfast was "ok". Cleanlisness was "ok". It is a no-frills place but convenient compared to shuttling from Reykjavik to catch your flight.

Bathroom wasn't clean, but of course there aren't any staff to talk to about it. We even ran out of TP and had to resort to stealing some from the lobby bathroom. We tried to check-in early but weren't able to contact the hotel. We tried all 3 numbers provided and there was no answer. We tried calling multiple times... Nothing. Would not recommend!

Nice, clean hotel. A good stay for a night after late arrival or early depature. The beds are comfy and the room was very clean. Enough space for two. You got everything you need. The breakfast was sufficient to start into our day.

The shower was dirty and sprayed water over the barrier onto the floor, toilet paper and my "dry" clothes. The outlet was falling out of the wall. The bed lamp socket was falling out of the stem of the lamp. The alarm went off briefly when we opened our door to exit our room. There was no one on site to report the problems to. Parking was good. Centrally located. Bed was comfortable. Would not stay here again.

Shower broken during stay. Water dumps from the line and the drain did not work properly so it flooded the bathroom. Had to use rolled up towels to help keep the water from entering the room. Self service check in so no answer when front desk called multiple times. Refrigerate not working. Room was otherwise basic.

Staff was helpful but they mixed up our booking

Check in is super easy and the hotel is close to the airport. Rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. There are good choices for food within a couple of blocks and a 24hr convenience store across the street. What is bad is that the listing says a shuttle is available and there is NO SHUTTLE. You have to take a taxi both ways and to get to the airport you have to book ahead (hotel recommends a day in advance). Roundtrip taxi is $50 US - 70,000isk

Hotel Jazz was sneaky good. Curb appeal and lack of seeing any human working there was a bit spooky when we 1st arrived. Check in was easy. Our keys were on the desk so we grabbed them. Room was very nice, bed was comfy and perfectly clean. We walked a block away and had an Italian dinner and went back to the hotel to get ready for the alarm clock at 3:30 a.m. A nice continental spread was ready at 4 am in the breakfast area. Idk who did it cuz I never saw a sole working there. Check out was leaving your key in the basket and go. I highly recommend Hotel Jazz it was perfect for our last night in Iceland!

I enjoyed it the quietness of the hotel. Very nice after a long day of adventure.

Good room for an airport hotel, one of the best we’ve experienced around the world. The check in/out process was seamless. We appreciated the size of the room, was larger than we’ve experienced in comparable hotels.

Had a 6 AM taxi arrangement to the airport. Wake up to no lights and no power in our room. Other guests said the same thing. Wife could hit dry her hair or properly get ready. Using cell phone light to pack. The phone number to get assistance is not answered..No one on site. Unacceptable. Answer your phone. Will be seeking a refund due to the stress this nice place put on us. Totally unacceptable.

I strongly disagree with this hotel’s rating of 9 out of 10 for the following reasons. No receptionist, no bar/lounge, no restaurant or vending machines, no shuttle. Oh in the “fine “ print a shuttle costs 20 euros for a 4-6 mile ride to or from the airport

2nd visit. Love this place.

We stayed two nights. On breakfasts of the second morning, bread with mould was left out for us (see image). We are not permited to give out of date food to the homeless. Strands of hair were on the bathroom sink and in the duvet. This is a criticism of management who is responsible for providing fresh food and checking on bathrooms. The toilet seat moves and the washbasin tap is easily removed. These are minor repairs which management can easily sort out.

It provided just what we needed the night before our flight

It was nice to be close to the airport, but there are so many other options for the same price or cheaper. They never got back to us after a month of trying to contact them, breakfast wasn’t great, and definitely not worth the price.

Smell and dark rooms. Extra tvs we’re on the floor

I did not see a human that worked at this hotel the 12 hours we were there. The front door was not secured, all the guests who were checking in had a paper with their room keys attached sitting out in the open for anyone to take. We had a heck of a time figuring out how to get the lights on (put your key card in the slot above the light switch) but don’t open the door without making sure all electronics are OFF, an alarm will sound if you don’t. There was black mold on the wall in the corner right next to one of the beds. There was a sign both in our room and at the front desk giving 2 phone numbers to call for service to the airport. We called numerous times both numbers with no answer. We ended up asking a different driver to come in the morning for us to get to the airport on time. By the way an 8 minute taxi ride from this hotel will cost you about $28. I checked out the breakfast, that was a normal European breakfast. Again, not a human in sight. 1/10, would not recommend.

Very nice one night stay. Self check in and self check out breakfast was fully stocked and nice selection of items. I think the location is run by gnomes as I did not see anyone the entirety of our visit.
Room was clean and nicely sized. Would not hesitate to stay here again when returning to Reykjavík.

Awsome hassle free self check in ,breakfast was substantial ,room was clean and quiet, overall no complaints with no contact with any staff whatsoever made us feel like trusted valued customers. Well done Hotel Jazz!

They must have been having a staff shortage since there was no one at the front desk the whole time we were there. Room keys were laid out on the desk for everyone checking in that day. Breakfast was pretty good for a small hotel and it was pretty close to the airport. There was a grocery store within a short walking distance.

Towell of the previous guests were still in the bath, everything else was good.
Perfect place for the first or last night in Iceland, so close to the airport.

A nice hotel with a non traditional check in/check out process. The check in process was describe well in an email that was sent prior to our stay. The room was very clean, neat, and adequate in size. Several good places to eat within an easy walking distance. Good taxi service to the airport from the hotel.
