Bodega Harbour is a beautiful community in Bodega Bay built around a Scottish-links-style golf course, which you'll have access to half a mile down the road. The house is about two miles from the wharves and restaurants in town and a few miles more from the rugged beaches between Bodega Bay and Jenner. This is also the perfect spot for day trips - to oyster farms on Tomales Bay, the windswept shores of Point Reyes National Seashore, or even Muir Woods. This home is wonderfully unique in the windows and nooks that seem to wait around every corner, providing lovely spots to escape and relax. The great room is upstairs on the top floor, offering generous seating, picture windows that frame the water, and glass doors that lead to the deck. Prepare homemade meals in the kitchen with stainless steel appliances and gorgeous countertops, sit down for dinner at sunset while watching for whale spouts on the horizon, and stream movies in the evenings in the warmth of the pellet stove. Spend your mornings with coffee and a newspaper outside in the sheltered courtyard, escape for an hour or two to send emails at the desk workspace, and reserve the evening hours for stargazing from the hot tub on the back deck. When it's time to turn in, you'll find that each bedroom has a TV, and three have en suite bathrooms - including a primary suite with a balcony overlooking the bay. There's another sleeping space in the remodeled basement, which includes two tri-fold futon mattresses. THINGS TO KNOW This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). We had a nice time. It is located in a stunning neighborhood. Loved the views from the windows and balcony! Over all the place was comfortable. We all really liked having our own bathrooms. There are a few maintenance issues that should have been addressed… primary bedroom latch on the door was broken. It’s a sliding type door and there was a very noticeable gap where it didn’t shut all the way. That was sort of a bummer, because the room was beautiful. The place needed a few updates but I suppose for the price it is understandable. Most all our group of 8 really liked it though.

Can’t beat the view. The house was great for our needs with 4 adult couples (8 people). We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. It was clean and a well stocked kitchen.

Group of four retired couples returning every year for the last 27 years. Location and view are great. Cleanliness did not get the highest score among us. Kitchen needs better stocking like a measuring cup and more than six wine glasses for eight guests. Large serving plates will be good for a meal to share among eight people. There should be a standard to follow what should be stocked in the kitchen and someone in the management should follow through.

Do not stay here until you can verify all items have been fixed. Broken bed in master(on another review that they said was fixed), broken door handles. Granddaughter got locked in and freaked out when no one was around to help her get out. Dirty, stains on couched, not a little a lot. This house is in an incredible location with spectacular views. Its just a mess. They promised partial credit, their manager Trudy. Never came through. Not even a followup call!!!

The location and view from the property are wonderful. The house is larger, spread out and bathrooms in each restroom was a nice feature. Perfect for a big group! The master bed was horrible. The middle sinks in and makes for an uncomfortable night. There were old dirty diapers in the bottom of one of the trashcans in the garage which smelled bad. I sent a picture and let property management know after we checked in, but they were left through our stay. Also, the bedroom, on the same level as the garage, had a foul smell, especially in the closet. Finally, we could only get the TVs in the main living room and master bedroom to work. I contacted the property manager through text but never got the issue resolved.

The house worked well for our group of 8. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Lots of different spaces to read, watch tv, and relax. It could be a 5 star place except it needs maintenance attention. Some of the blinds in the bedrooms are broken. The bathroom overlooking the hot tub is missing its blinds so we had to wait until the person taking a shower in that bathroom was finished before we could use the hot tub. The electric outlet in the master bedroom did not work. The wicker sofa in the living room is broken. The property description should include the fact that the 5th bedroom is totally separate in that it is located on the other side of the garage. The door to that bedroom is in the garage. It took us a while to find it. We could not park a car in the garage because the person in that 5th bedroom would not be able to get to the main house. It’s located in a nice golf course development with excellent ocean views.

The house was so clean. It has amazing views of the ocean. It has plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for the 3 families that we traveled with. The layout is great for letting kids play on one side of the house while the adults are on the other side. It is so close to the trail down to the beach. We will stay there again.

Blue Horizon is a beautiful home with panoramic views of the ocean in Bodega Bay. Unfortunately there were many broken items in the house-that left our trip unsatisfactory. First there was a note left by housekeeping not to sit in the wicker chair in the main room it was broken. Then we noticed that the matching wicker couch was also broken. Leaving us only benches on the perimeter of the room to sit on. None of which faced the tv or the ocean view. The main blind (to the beautiful ocean view ) was broken in the down position, with the broken cord laying on a chair next to the blind. We stayed in the master bedroom, with the beautiful ocean view, the king size bed was sagging so bad that we kept rolling to the middle all night. We changed room for the next few nights to the back of the house. No view. 😔 There were so many nice things, but so many broken things. Would not recommend this home. We won’t go be going back.

The front door was UNLOCKED when we arrived. The front railing up to the property was broken & my 73 year old aunt almost fell because of it. The blinds are in broken or poor condition. The upstairs wicker couch was broken. There were ants in the garage surrounding the garbage cans. There are no written instructions in the home to utilize everything & how you would want to clean the home ex: where to put bedsheets, towels etc?The views were incredible & there was more than eneough room for our group, plenty of sleeping spaces & overall, a beautiful home that needs to be loved a little more.

We stayed here the first week of January during the crazy storm. We were lucky enough to get a couple beautiful sunsets though. The week brought up to 90 mph winds and downpours. Sadly, the house had a leak in the kitchen and the front door has gaps that allow wind and rain to come in. This was pure Mother Nature and many homes had similar experiences. The views are spectacular, we loved that our four-legged family member could join us, each guestroom having its own bathroom is a plus, and the walks to the beach are wonderful!

Our family of seven adults gathered here to celebrate Christmas. House has beautiful views of the Bay and is conveniently located. It was great that each bedroom had a bathroom. The kitchen has lots of small appliances, including a blender, a hand mixer, and a rice cooker. The pots and pans and baking sheets need replacing though, and more measuring spoons and cups would have been useful. Knocked a star off because part of the railing on steps from driveway to front door was not attached, which was a safety issue for the 91-year-old in our party who uses a walker. Also, the mattress in the master bedroom is the most uncomfortable I have ever experienced anywhere; it is foam and very uneven.

The location was outstanding! Really enjoyed the walking path down to the beach. We played the Harbor Links GC 2 times during our stay. Great weather and great course. Garbage left behind from the previous guest was the reason for the low score. The trash filled the complete house with an unbearable smell. It really made the first night miserable. The property management arranged for the trash to be picked up the next day.

The views are wonderful. House has plenty of room for everyone. Many bedrooms and bathrooms, so everyone has their own space. Easy beach access on a short walking trail. Pellet stove keeps the upstairs warm.

We spent a long weekend here with 2 other couples and the house was perfect for us. Home is very comfortable, spacious and has everything you need. Enjoyed the jacuzzi, beach and the beautiful view. Look forward to coming back again.

More often than not, pictures do not reflect the in person experience when you arrive. This was not the case with this beautiful pet friendly vacation house! From the moment you walk in, it’s inviting. It’s clean and feels like home away from home with a stunning bay view from the Master Suite. Room for everyone and walking distance to the beach! We will definitely stay here again!

Loved having 51/2 bathrooms. Really gives everyone their own space. Truly a wonderful home for family/friends. There were 8 of us and it was perfect. 5-10 min walk to beach. We would return in a heartbeat.
