The Valley Ridge Lodge is a 3 bedroom, one bath home overlooking Candlewood Lake. It features a large wrap around deck with entertaining space. The home is located within a private lake community with beach and lake access. Our cozy lodge has lots to offer inside. Large bay window brings in natural light with open views of the lake from the living room. Open concept living space with brick fire place, tv, streaming services, stereo surround sound system, comfortable couch, futon and leather recliner to enjoy time with family or relax and enjoy the quiet mornings admiring the views. Our open cute resourceful kitchen is complete with everything you will need to enjoy a delicious cup of coffee or cook a nice evening meal as well as the washer and dryer with all necessities. The French doors off the kitchen will lead you to an outdoor living space. Away from the entertainment areas, on the opposite side of the living room you will find a fresh, bright bathroom with a shower and large tub. Wake up to the sound of nature with birds singing and direct view of the lake from our comfortable queen bed in the master bedroom. Outdoor you will find a stone fire pit, gas BBQ grill, wrap around deck with dining table, conversational set to relax, unwind, enjoy views of the lake and beautiful sunsets over the tree tops of the shore lines. The outdoor space is truly one magical place to relax and soak in the lake life from sunrise to sunset. You will have seasonal beach/lake access during your stay less than a quarter of a mile down the street. Spend a relaxing day on the beach, enjoy a picnic by the water, play at the community play ground and take in all the lake has to offer. We can't wait to share our space with you. The lodge is a perfect place for a quaint lake retreat and to make memories in the surrounding environment that candlewood lake has to offer while being a short ride away from the picturesque downtown of New Milford.
