We were very disappointed. The tv area’s furniture sunk when you sat on it. The bed sunk in the middle and squeaked every time you turned over. We were excited to have a balcony. The picture shown on line showed a beautiful deck with nice furniture. This wasn’t true. The deck had nails sticking out. We questioned if the railing was even safe. The paint was chipping off the railings and the floor. Our first morning I went to use the hair blower and it started to start on fire with black smoke. We called and told them what happened and asked for a new hair blower and they had one in a drawer in the bathroom. As soon as we hung up they called back to tell us the water would be off for awhile. My husband hadn’t showered so we had to wait for the water to be turned back on. A good half hour later. It could be a beautiful Bed and Breakfast but they need to get their act together and get it fixed up so it’s worth what people are paying. We were very sad and very disappointed.

It was easy to book our room, information online was helpful. We had great communication from the staff about check in and breakfast ordering that helped us plan our day. Room was very nice, comfortable. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves.

I loved the staff and management. It was the best sleep I have had staying away from home in a long time. Friendly and always attentive to everything. Thank you for a beautiful birthday weekend!

Room was very clean. Bed was comfy and bathroom & shower were large and new. However, the room only had 1 dim lamp or the 4 bright ceiling lights. There was no in between. The ceilings were 10 ft and there were no rugs or carpet so it echoed. (The tile floor was very cold, so keep your socks on!) The ceiling fan was not usable since it clanged too loud when it was on. There was only 1 bedside table, which is inconvenient when you have 2 adults. The area was nice and our room was the Hillside Suite. I would go again but will likely look for a suite in the main house.

Amazing place to stay- food was also spectacular. Very quiet and beautiful.

Great place and would definitely go again. Only thing I would recommend is they add a shelf in the shower for soaps and somewhere to hang towels

If you are looking for a quiet place to get away, this might be for you. However, just a little too quiet, to abandon for my comfort. There might have been a few other guest but it seemed like a ghost town. The Inn is located several miles outside of Norman and is truly out by itself. While I didn’t have a reason to worry about safety, I didn’t have a reason to feel comfortable. No security of any kind was visible. All it took was knowledge of the the front door code and you had access to everything inside the main house.
The room itself was “quaint”. The bed was needs replacing though. Neither my husband or myself slept very good in a bed that seemed well used.
Several positives to add, the room was very nice and clean. If I had more time, I would have taken advantage of the HUGE jetted tub in the bathroom. Probably more than 3 adults would have fit in that whirl pool. Also the Inn offers several fresh breakfast options to the guest each morning.

The mattress was very worn and old. Springs were collapsed in the middle. It definitely needs to be replaced. This is the 2nd time I have stayed here and it's a nice little place. Just was disappointed in the comfort of the mattress.

I cannot say this enough… this little hidden oasis in Norman is a dream come true!
Is was so beautiful and quiet. Breakfast served right to our door, wonderful staff. Our daughter recently moved to Norman, and anytime we visit her this will be our first choice to stay! Just wonderful

We stayed for 4 nights in June of 2023. They never changed the table cloth or sheets in 4 days, even though we requested to have our room refreshed every day we were there. We never saw management the entire time we were there. We had to hunt down a restaurant worker to bring us clean towels. We will not be staying there again.

Nice, quiet secluded area. Breakfast wasn't the best.

This was an unusual experience for me. Norman experienced a tornado warning the evening I arrived, so other guests seem to have cancelled and as far as I could tell, I was alone at the B&B the night I spent there.
Based on what I could see, this place would be an excellent choice for a group who want to have a nice dinner and enjoy a full bar and then stay over instead of traveling home. Whether the group is 2 or 20, the facility appeared to be designed to accommodate.
For an individual traveler, it lacked the sort of interaction that one might imagine or hope for at a B&B, but it was nevertheless a good value relative to other options I found when booking.
Particular shout-out to the kind couple who manage the kitchen in the evening. I met them as they waited for a break in the weather and while I chose not to dine in, they demonstrated a kindness and hospitality that made me think a dinner organized by them would be nice.

Love B&B's because they don't have the large, corporate homogenized feel. The door was pleasantly decorated, the bed was beautiful and comfy. The flourless torte was delish. Room was warm. Surprisingly quiet; room faced the hwy but it sits back a ways.
There was a couple of squeeky floorboards in the room I was in - that's the only complaint I can come up with. A really great experience and will stay there if I'm ever that way again.

Did not like the Stardust room. The bed was terrible, it didn’t just squeak it creaked. Just moving in it would wake the other person. My pillow was foam and a huge chunk of it had solidified in the center and would not move. The fact that there was no door on the toilet is just not pleasant. The two stairs, going into the bathroom also creaked and there was no handrail. Didn’t know that I needed to tell the person who delivered my food that I wanted my room made up. I would think that making up a room was something that was part of the job. I put the sign on my door and still came back to a room that had not been made up. If I needed to ask for my room to be made up why was there a sign for the door to clean the room. I am aware it was a holiday, the person delivering breakfast should have told us that she was leaving early and needed to be in there to make up the room by a certain time.
But wait there is more. The barking dog running around outside for several hours both nights for at least two hours was ridiculous.
I have stayed there before and enjoyed it, I won’t be going back.

The dates of my stay were May 13-14 and not May 12-13. I was a little apprehensive at first not seeing anyone when I arrived other than the dog on the deck and the property looked isolated & I was wondering if it was safe being by myself. I felt much better coming back in the evening seeing the lights on the tree and someone eating in the dining area, someone in the bar area as well as a few extra cars. I did see cars at the closes two cabins which made me feel a little better. The room was wonderful and very well decorated. Due to my nephew's early graduation from OU on Saturday morning, I had to check out at 6:45 am and was disappointed I could not get something to eat before I left. Many hotels have breakfast starting at 6:30 or 7 am and that would be a recommendation to offer earlier breakfast for the guests. That was the only disappointment. I will definitely recommend your property though to others! It is very quaint and has a lovely atmosphere. I will request availability again in the future for an upcoming OU football game in November 2022. Thank you!

It was a fabulous stay I was able to park right next to my room they already had the key in my room when I arrived. At night it was lit up so I was able to see where to turn. I will definitely stay there again if given a chance.

I stayed for one night and was a late check in but the staff went over and above what was expected to make my stay amazing. I arrived after the restaurant/bar closed but per my request they had late night snacks waiting in my room. In the morning breakfast was delivered on time and hot. The room went beyond my expectations and customer service was one of the best. Great experience for a price cheaper than most hotels. If back in the area I will definitely stay there.

This is a beautiful location for a bed and breakfast. However, do not stay in the Pine Cone Cottage. No shower, limited lighting, a/c does not cool the entire room, the bed is as hard as I've ever seen, furnishings are very dated, toilet is kid size as in little kid size. In summary, I'm sure the property has much better rooms, but the Pine Cone needs a total gut job.
