The hotel was really cool. Very modern. The room was very modern, although quite traditional with a mattress on the floor, but real fun. Lovely place to stay would highly recommend. Kanazawa is a wonderful city and would highly recommend a visit

This is such a lovely hotel! From the minute you walk in it smells beautiful and the staff are so friendly. Absolutely worth it for the spa - luxurious and comforting after a day of excursions.

New and minimalist but has several annoying features. Noisy air conditioning unit in ceiling, poor acoustics could hear people moving about up stairs and they use the lobby to temporarily store luggage it was packed. No free water bottles in the room, no shavers.

Arrived 25 minutes before check-in. Staff wouldn’t even start process. Check-in all done by customer on computer. Help given when needed. No service behind any desk. Room tiny, and so much room given to fixed table/mats that moving around room very difficult. No one with any degree of limitation to physical movement should stay in this hotel. There is no place but the bed and the floor to sit. If I had known I wouldn’t have stayed here.

Looks like a very new hotel, everything in excellent condition. Modern contemporary but with Japan style e.g.futon beds. Excellent location, good for walking to/from station and all Kanazawa attractions. Right opposite Omi-chi market

The hotel is remote. If you plan around the hourly shuttle the location is tolerable. The room is fairly clean 8 out of 10. Some marks from luggage hitting the walls are present and should be addressed prior to the walls looking bad. The hotel provides organic face care products. I loved them! I felt really pampered using them while here. The staff are kind and polite.

The location of this hotel was a great advantage from my viewpoints. It located to next to Omicho Market where I found many interesting restaurants and bars. Kanazawa station and almost all of must-visit places were within a walking distance. The bed was uniquely designed and very confortable. They had a nice their own Japanese restaurant that serves excellent foods. The reception staff members were friendly and reliable.

Our family stay at Soki Kanazawa coincided with the 1st Jan earthquake. The staff were amazing throughout, and took care to ensure we were safe and protected from the impending Tsunami alert. They are to be commended for their calm manner through such a stressful time for all. Earthquakes aside, we had a fantastic stay and loved everything about Soki. The hotel has a very clean and modern ambience, the location is great just opposite the markets, and within walking distance of everywhere. Will definitely choose to stay again.

Service, Location & the quality of the hotel is one the best I had stayed in Japan. Thing could improved was. Recommendation of restaurant around for those don’t have enough time to explore. Breakfast is super nice. But if you have 5 day in a row it might be a little bit too much. Also a bit of explanation of the dishes will be helpful. Thanks really love it.

Our family enjoyed our stay. The rooms were a good size and very clean. The only complaint would be that the rooms were very hot. We liked the convenient location across from Omichiya Market.

This hotel is heavenly. Loved the public bath. The hotel and room was beautifully decorated. Very modern and calming. Bed was comfortable. Only complaint is that outside my window during the day the crosswalk beeped. But I’m guessing you can’t hear that from most rooms.

The hotel has a stylish decor with a traditional touch. As it’s relatively new, everything in the room is new and feels nice. The lobby area is a little small and easily gets crowded but the breakfast and public bath are pretty awesome. They have unlimited drinks for you after using the public bath. Location is right next to omicho market so that can’t be beat.

A Japanese style spa hotel which is close to the market with lots of food options. Across the road is pharmacy shop and you can catch a bus easily to the famous spots in Kanazawa in no time. If you don’t mind walking, you could reach most places within 15-30mins! It’s also nicely decorated in comfortable setting. Highly recommended for people who look for space to rest and zen time!

location is superb! right infront of omicho market, 15 mins walk to kanazawa station, walking distance to the kenrokuen gardens, kanazawa castle and higashi chaya district. hotel is clean, has a great design and give a nice zen feeling with great amenities. things to take note : the same japanese breakfast set is served 2 days in a row. overall great stay and would definitely recommend it.

By far the best hotel during our Japan trip. It's clean, has an onsen, close to the train station and main market. The hotel decoration/vibe are minimalistic but well done. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel’s room design was a bit awkward because we had to maneuver around a lovely, but otherwise big non-movable low traditional Japanese table which limited our luggage spreading area and travel related space needs. Otherwise it’s a lovely hotel, polite staff, and love the emphasis on traditional Japanese atmosphere.

You need to make reservations for breakfast which is not “usual”. Also the queue to the laundry machines (only 3 for the whole hotel) is not acceptable.

We enjoyed staying soki hotel. Every night looking forward the public hot bath. Hotel looks new, we stayed two queen beds room. They layout of the room is bit odd, however we made it work. Great location, we walked to and from hotel, kenrakuen, and old district. We didn’t order breakfast.

Beautiful property within walking distance to the many sites in Kanazawa. Very quiet area and great staff that was very accommodating, even have a drop room for your luggage before check in. Pro tip, visit the onsen first thing in the morning!

What really needs a change is the breakfast. Nicely presented, however, most of it could not be enjoyed for European taste. At least a choice of either Japanese or Western style breakfast is highly recommended. Public onsen very good, location perfect.

The room was a cool mix of traditional and modern. Everything felt new and functional. Honestly it had the most comfortable mattress I've slept in on my entire trip. The lobby is funky and unique. Would easily recommend this place to anyone.
