The room was so hot. Maintenance said they fixed it but the room never got below 70. Terrible night

Enjoyed the stay. Was great place to go after going downtown for a bachelor party. Only complaint is the AC in our room wasn’t cooling less than 70 degrees. Love to sleep in the cold and just couldn’t get it colder.

Check in was at 3...got here at 4 had to wait an hour and still didnt get the corner room we reserved. One of the bes sheets was stained.

Bathroom was not clean. Mirror&walls by all sinks had spit splatter & coffee splatter on them. The place worn. For the price being charged $200+ per night I would expect nicer.
Breakfast was very good & bar food was good but too expensive.

I honestly had a terrible experience with this hotel. The price was obscene for what they offered and the upkeep of the hotel. When I arrived the person at the desk was rude. Never offered the parking located under the hotel, which I found out was $20 and was not even offered even after I asked about the parking. Was told that I could park on the street or in the parking garage across the street. So I paid for street parking for the entire duration of my stay (Friday-Saturday night). The first room I checked into had a clogged sink and a leaking fridge. Asked to be moved and went back down to the desk to the same person who again was rude. Was moved to another room where the door didn't close all the way so you could hear noise. The curtains were disgusting (both the front ones, which were crusty, and the bedroom ones which had black stains on them). The glass on the window facing outside was cracked.
There were a few disturbances throughout the night, which isn't controllable by the hotel, but wasn't comfortable.

We always enjoy staying at this hotel! We loved the free shuttle to and from the concert at the Wells last evening. We did notice a few maintenance & housekeeping issues including the door to the womens bathroom not closing in the pool area as well as the floor in the elevator and on the 3rd floor being covered in popcorn and nuts. We understand things happen and that these things will be taken care of, so we will be back! Ps..breakfast was fantastic as usual!

The room was extremely hot and unable to change the thermostat. My room go to 80 degrees with no heat on. Only one working elevator that caused long waits to get to the basement or first floor.

Great overnight stay. The shuttle took us to our meeting and picked us up. That was awesome!! We enjoyed the Fitness Room, Swimming Pool and Evening Reception!

Location and price are great, the service was top notch and the pool was a nice size. However this is an older hotel and you can really see the wear and tear. The carpets were quite dirty and our toddler bumped into a corner in the room and the corner protector completely fell off. The main problem though was the hotel and room were super hot! The windows did not open and even tho we set the temp way down the fan ran loudly and constantly but didn't really cool it off. We were sweating over night.
I would maybe stay here again for the location and price but bring light pjs!

We had 3 kids and 3 adults. We particularily enjoyed the pool, breakfast and the location.

The hotel was run down and showing its age. Our hotel room had a hole in the wall, stitching was ripped on the coach cushions, furniture was chipped and wood work needed to be painted. It reminded us of a lower end hotel and did not the cost. There was no a mattress pad on the bed.

We had a pleasant stay and will stay again. There were a few cosmetic things that could be improved on; like where the carpet met the walls. And something i noticed was the door was obnoxiously loud on opening/closing, which for littles or the light sleeper might be disturbed. However the continental breakfast was AWESOME! They had an omelet station that was a great touch and a fountain pop machine as well.

Bathroom was dirty and had dirt in the corners. The carpet trim on the walls was falling off. Pool was horrible and the whole area cold and door rusted out. The beds were small and the sofa bed was horrendous

Dated hotel that needs some upkeep in the rooms, but all in all a nice place to stay.

During the evening a closed party lasting three hours, in the common indoor courtyard with a DJ was very loud and disturbing inside our room.

Location was great. Shuttle service was slow.

Great stay at the Embassy Suites. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Every section of the hotel was spotlessly clean. The only issue we had(I use issue loosely) was regulating the temperature in the room. Would highly recommend this property.

Stayed at Embassy Suites on the River last night while attending a concert at Wooly’s. Convenient 5-minute walk from the hotel which was great! Also, had dinner and drinks before the concert at Bar Nico which is just a couple buildings down from Wooly’s. Overall a great experience. However, I was not very impressed by our room at the hotel. Although it was clean and the bed was comfortable, it was pretty outdated and the shower pressure in room 709 was poor. Check-in experience was average but nothing I would expect from a Hilton property. They also removed all of the vending machines from the ice kiosks and now make you go to their snack shop on the main level and pay 3x the cost. $13 for 2 bottles of water and 2 bags of popcorn. Was also disappointed that the hotel bar closed at midnight on a Friday night.

Staff member at check in was not smiling or welcoming. Mumbled - could not understand her. Apparently she was having a bad day. Facility is showing its age - no USB outlets in rooms. So-so vleanliness inbthe bathrooom. I like Embassy Suites, but this one needs a refreshing.

Very disappointed. Tried to check in on time and they didn’t have a room ready. When they finally gave me a room it was not clean. There was a swimsuit hanging in the shower, poop on the toilet, and generally not cleaned. We found a contact in the bed sheets too. They eventually came and cleaned the room. Also, I had paid for a premium room which was supposed to have a bunch of in room snacks but those weren’t there either. Had to argue to get those included. Very disappointing because we have been staying at this location for years and they have been getting progressively worse. I no longer can say I recommend this hotel.

I have stayed at this property many times over many years. The property has not been maintained. Tables, doors, and furniture are chipped, beat up and dirty. We would not sit on the sofa or use the ottoman because of the stains. We had to use the pull-out bed in the sofa and it did appear clean. The sheets however were stained. I expected much more for the price paid to stay.

I stay here every year when I visit family for the holidays. It may be my last stay. First of all, the room was unbelievably HOT. We slept with no blankets on in the middle of winter. You cannot control the temp from your individual room. We contacted the front desk our first night and they said they could move us rooms or send someone in the morning. Many others were complaining it was way too hot, and our kids were asleep (we got there late) and so we stayed in our original room. The next day, a lady from engineering came and "fixed" our room. The second and final night was no different. Thankfully, we were gone almost all day, so it only mattered when we needed to sleep.
In addition, on the second night, there was a dog barking in the room next to us for hours. It stopped for a while and we were able to go to sleep. We were awakened by the barking again at 3 am. We called the front desk and they did send someone up and the dog stopped barking after that.
I told the front desk about both of these situations and told them I stay here every year, and that I believed the situation (most especially the ridiculous temperature) warranted some type of discount. She said she'd talk to the manager and they'd deal with it through Expedia since I booked through them. I asked for the manager to call, but they never did. And there was no discount given. I believe that's unacceptable, and as much as I like Embassy Suites overall, I may never stay at this one again.

The complimentary reception on Sunday evening was poor. The line to the bar was long for the entire 2 hours and often just had 1 bartender. We arrived at 5:45 and most of the snacks were already gone and were never replenished. The breakfast was great. We were disappointed that there not a hot tub

Very NICE And Clean 🙌

Nearly the entire staff from front desk to housecleaning to happy hour bartender were either unpleasant or nonchalant in their help and responses. Rooms were pretty beat up with updates needed badly (from towel bars barely haning on the wall to couch cushions with barely any cushion).. Breakfast omelet was good but my partner said the biscuits and gravy were terrible. I won't stay at this property again.

First room had black mold, second room was already occupied with hotel guest, sorry to those guest for me intruding on their space and being assigned keys to unlock their room. Third room was fine. It took me more than 45 mins to get settled in a room. No forks and coffee carafe, three of them, were empty.

We got 2 rooms for a staycation bday party for a teen. It’s a fun hotel but it’s a little overpriced for as outdated as it is. The fold out beds are really uncomfortable. Our air didn’t work in one of the rooms and it was really hot. We all had fun though and the breakfast was good. Staff is top notch.

Generally ok but the room was run down. Poor patch jobs on doors and towels bars hanging off walls. Convenient location, though. Was probably quite nice a decade ago.

I love the hotel - wish the fountain was working
