The room was a little dated with torn carpets and signs of wear in the bathroom. The room was comfortable enough although there was noise outside late at night and early morning with staff emptying bins. The bar was good and outside seating areas were a nice addition. A half hour walk along the river takes you into the city.

Staff in all departments were fantastic!
We extended our stay..

Could do with some updating. Separate heating controls for each room would be welcome. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

We checked into a Superior room that smelled of drains and wasn’t Superior as shown on the website. We were upgraded FOC to a Studio Apartment (should have been £40).
The room had been upgraded, but the finish was terrible. The bathroom pipes were unsightly, the door surround was unfinished and had tile grout plastered all over the hinges. The bedroom had several stains on the couch and the pillow case had a cigarette burn.
At breakfast we picked up cold plates and went to the food. Every item in the buffet was Luke warm and when put on a cold plate was stone cold before I started eating it!!
Two big positives in the hotel were the bar and the staff. Every member of staff were friendly and helpful.
Not a hotel I will be stopping again.

Great staff/atmosphere/room, only downside is the distance from the centre however taxis are quick and cheap. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff, good dining options. Clean, comfortable rooms.

We were firstly assigned a shabby worn room at the rear above the kitchen services with noise of extractor fans and drab view. Requested a move, which the helpful reception staff assisted with, and moved us to the refurbished 2nd floor overlooking the car park which was much better. Generally the staff were very pleasant except for the breakfast staff who didn’t seem to want to be there… after a miserable greeting dropped cutlery on the restaurant floor and then put it onto our table ! Disgusting ! facing the exit / entrance to the kitchen and washing up area which was really noisy and very un-relaxing. The breakfast was really average as was the service and found meat product in the warmer marked soda bread etc. not good if you’re vegetarian ! Probably in need of more upgrades and better attitude in the restaurant area thank goodness we opted to eat out in the evening.

Have stayed at this hotel a few times - love the bar food and the Thai truck outside is fantastic. Rooms are fine, showers are fabulous! The only downside is the breakfast. I’ve found it pretty disappointing the last couple of times I’ve been. It’s literally cereal and fried food - and they always run out of things before the service is over. I would return but won’t book breakfast again.

We found the Da Vinci hotel very comfortable and on the whole staff were very friendly. Michael the bar man went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The occasion was our 50th wedding anniversary. We definitely intend to return. The one sour note was that the girl on reception appeared to be having a bad day and it showed in her attitude

Our room was at the rear with a view over the air conditioning units. Saying that, we only slept in our room. The public areas had a lot more personality, with some lovely stained glass and interesting features in the bar/restaurant.
Very fiendly and helpful staff, a good hotel for a visit to Londonderry.

Nice, big room with a bath. Hotel was about a 25-minute walk from the centre of Derry. It seemed like a long way at first, but it's quite a pleasant walk along the riverside. The only problem was that the weather was quite warm during our stay and there is no AC in the room.

It was very friendly, easy to find, plenty of parking.

We moved Derry and the pub was fantastic
Easy to use bus to go downtown

Girl on front desk was great, very friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar which was just ok. It was busy so we got a table away in a corner so not much atmosphere. Choice on bar menu was just ok, but food was fine. If I was staying again I'd book into the restaurant/bistro where menu looks much better. Room was fine, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was good. I would stay there again.

The rooms have been improved and are supplied with tea/coffee, biscuits and water. The staff are fantastic, one of our favourite places of refuge in the North West

Was ok for a 1 night stay. Only thing let it down was the breakfast. Very poor indeed..

It was a bit noisy with people coming up after 1am & we could hear people talking in the morning in the next room so I guess the walls are a bit thin. Otherwise very comfortable.

Only real problem is the view which was of a factory or some sort of warehouse and also they emptied the bottles under our window nearly every hour

Our stay was to celebrate my 70th birthday with my husband and son.
The Shower kept overflowing all over the floor. The bed was uncomfortable.

Hotel was spotless and bar food and service was excellent
But the check in and check out was not pleasent , maybe the girl is new !
Not very friendly and checkout was left waiting as you can see from CCTV , had to just leave key cards on desk and leave
Such a pity it's really a lovely place to stay and would like to try it again
Once again bar and food service was excellent

Lovely property in Derry. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds and super bathrooms with a lovely shower after a day on the road touring. Food was excellent for dinner in the bar and for the morning breakfast they had a nice selection of items, including an Irish breakfast. It's walkable distance to the downtown area and located in a very safe part of town. It was nice and quiet at night. Lovely bar for a hotel property, that was like being at a pub in the downtown area. Staff was excellent and went out of their way to make you feel at home.

A short walk or cab ride to sites in center of town.
