Welcome to Sunshine House Originally built in 1897 this home is located four blocks from Historic Downtown Littleton. All three floors have been completely renovated with detailed craftsmanship and elegant amenities. Included are three private bedrooms and three full baths. Upstairs suite includes private bathroom with a claw foot tub. A Double sided fireplace connects the bedroom to a private sitting area. The two bedrooms in the basement feature sitting areas. Kitchen is fully equipped for your dining pleasure. This charming destination home includes cozy sitting areas, live plants, stained glass windows, large kitchen island for entertaining, beautiful custom wood trim and railings, a unique meditation studio with Himalayan salt rocks and fireplace, and outdoor chickens providing fresh eggs for your morning omelettes. The master bedroom includes a brand new king size Tempurpedic mattress. Located one block from beautiful Sterne Park and the Memorial Rose Garden. Sunshine House is four blocks from light rail to downtown Denver’s stadium, event centers, theatres and museums. You’ll be ninety minutes from ski areas and within walking distance to Littleton’s great restaurants, live music venues and quaint shops. Littleton License STR22-0004 is current and in good standing.

I rented this house to host Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas Day because my house was being remodeled. I loved this house! It had an old Victorian charm, from the wooden floors to the crystal door knobs to the vintage style bathtub. The master bedroom was spacious with a darling sitting area. The kitchen was well stocked and functional. The backyard was probably the cutest I’ve ever seen. There were even chickens! The best part is it snowed on Christmas Eve which made the experience more magical.

This property is so unique and beautiful. It’s 1920’s charm really impresses and had a ton of character. We were in Littleton for a wedding and this was a perfect getaway. Everyone enjoyed the home especially the chicken coop! The adults and children alike were entertained by those sweet little things. There was everything you could need to make meals and memories. Angela was a dream to work with and make sure we had everything we needed. The location is also perfect, being 12min from downtown. If you’re staying in Littleton, I would highly suggest renting here!!

Backyard Getaway

Littleton Haven
This charming house in Littleton was absolutely delightful and perfect for our needs. The house is located on a lovely street in what was probably an original part of Littleton. Close enough to the Main St. shopping area to walk. Half a block from a wonderful park area with a rose garden, pond, and playground equipment for kids. Great place to get outside for walks during Covid. The backyard of the home is fantastic and perfect for our 3 year old grandson to play and explore. The yard was the reason that I chose this house during the pandemic since I knew we wouldn’t be going out much during our stay. The owner, Angela, was there to greet us upon arrival which was wonderful. She showed us around and answered any questions we had. Very accommodating! Preparing 3 meals a day in the lovely kitchen was easy since everything you could possibly need is there. Even fresh eggs for breakfast from the chickens Angela has out back! Could not have been happier with our stay!

This home was more than we expected. Pictures did not capture the coziness of this "sunshine house" on a quiet street. We had everything we needed and enjoyed the lovely patio and backyard so very much. Angela is a wonderful host and we are so thankful for her hospitality. Highly recommend!

We so enjoyed our time at the Sunshine House! We were able to spend time with our adult children in a very special home. The backyard was a little piece of heaven within a big city. Everything was very clean and organized for guests. Angela was there to greet us and answer any questions that we had. We will definitely choose the Sunshine House again!

Great escape to relax!
Awesome house with everything we could have possibly needed. Everything was there down to the firewood for the burn ring. The chickens laying fresh eggs were an added bonus! Will definitely be back.

Sunshine House is in a nice neighborhood with blocks of unique homes. Great neighborhood to take walks and close to a park. Downtown Littleton has a lot to offer for dining and quaint boutique shopping. I would highly recommend Sunshine House to anyone of my friends that might be coming to the Denver area.

My dream home
This home was everything our family needed and more. Set up perfectly for family to hang out together. We used the back yard every night but one and that was only because we were gone that night. The house had everything you could possibly need!

Beyond our expectations!
This beautiful home is in a lovely neighborhood, only a few minutes drive from historic old town Littleton. It is a unique and lovely property with the most enchantingly peaceful back yard, complete with a meditation hut, gorgeous landscaping, and a chicken coop, where you can collect fresh eggs to cook in the well appointed and updated kitchen. The house has been painstakingly remodeled and redecorated to reflect its original character and Angela has considered every detail to make your visit complete. We would love to return to stay again soon!

Love the Sunshine House!
Our family stayed and The Sunshine House and absolutely LOVED it! Angela has made her house such a comfy home and even welcomed us with flowers & banana bread. Perfect location as we could walk to the park and down town. I would definitely stay again!

Just perfect for us!
Three couples stayed for the weekend (one of the beds in the basement is a tight squeeze being a double, but still very cozy and comfortable!) The house was very clean, beautifully decorated, had so much character, and we truly enjoyed our stay. In town for a wedding in Littleton and we were able to Uber everywhere we needed to go - great location and Angela is a lovely hostess!! Even made fresh cookies for us, and we enjoyed the chickens eggs for breakfast one morning! Just lovely!! Thank you, Angela!

What a memorable stay!!!
Had 4 fabulous days at the Sunshine House with the family and enjoyed every minute of it! The house was welcoming and comfortable, nice touches all throughout. The kids loved the yard, chickens and fire pit. We all had a great time and look forward to going back some time soon.

A wonderful, wonderful home filled with charm and comfort. Everything we needed at our fingertips.
Angela is the perfect hostess, available, accommodating but not intrusive. We absolutely loved The Sunshine House and its unique charm. We particularly loved the backyard and the outdoor dining space which we dubbed 'Tuscany'....if you stay there you will understand why. Every room has its own detail and its own appeal. The upstairs bedroom, bathroom (you have to see it to believe it), and sitting room are an oasis. If I am ever traveling to the Denver area again, I will look no further. Enjoyed every minute. The perfect vacation spot!
Beautifully restored and meticulously kept gem of a home! Wished we could stay instead of returning home! This home is perfect for a family, with room for everyone to have their own space, but still enjoy "together" time. We especially loved the stunning back yard and spent much time outside, eating under the lights in the evening.
The owner provided homemade banana nut bread as a welcome, which set the tone for our stay. Loved, loved loved this property and hope to return soon!!!

I was in town visiting my family who lives in nearby Highlands Ranch and I wanted a space which could accommodate my husband and I along with my mother, sister and nephew and this home was perfect! The house was so charming and fun that my other nephews and niece wanted to stay there as well. We all enjoyed hanging out in the backyard, relaxing on the porch in the morning or sitting around the fire pit in the evening, and the kids had a great time playing on the lawn and visiting the chickens. I’d happily stay here again for future visits!

Gorgeous home, wonderful area, happy family!
