Corner Cottage was near perfect: plenty of room, comfortable, easy walking distance both to downtown and folks we were visiting. I'd give it a 4.5. There was a little hiccup trying to reach the host the first day, but that was remedied and host was easy to reach after that. The cleaning could be improved a bit: coffee pot not washed, kitchen sink and bathroom tub weren't out and out unclean, but they needed scrubbing. We were greeted with a fresh bag of coffee and chocolates--always welcome. We would definitely stay again.

Cute little house. Lovely yard and deck to sit on. Deers visit! Could use a few upgrades such as a bigger bed (double to queen), and addressing the rust (?) stains in tub. (looks gross). Also a deeper cleaning. Looks clean on the surface, but lots of dust buildup in corners. And stop using heavily scented fabric softener. Non-scented or natural scent would be better for those (like me) who are chemical sensitive.

I was attending a wedding on the island and wanted to stay in a place close to the venue and walkable to downtown. This rental met all of my needs. The owner allowed me to arrive a little early so that I could drop off luggage and freshen up before the wedding which I greatly appreciated. The cottage was nicely appointed with the basics. ISSUE: The bathroom had a very foul odor that appeared to be coming from the bathtub pipes. Even with the door closed and fan on, the smell lingered. I also kept the bedroom window open for ventilation. I wish the owner would invest in higher grade linens. The pillows were flat and looked very used.
