A super nice location very next to the gates of Mdina

Perfectly located, comfortable property

The room on the top floor was very comfortable and we made good use of the terrace and jacuzzi. Johnny is a friendly and helpful host, and the location of the property is perfect for exploring both Mdina and Rabat.

We loved the massive terrace, beautiful views to look over in the evenings. Bathroom was lovely, place was very clean as well.

Beautiful and quite spacious apartment very close to Mdina.

Unfortunately, it can be quite noisy due to the central square close by.

Superb

Had a really nice stay. Johnny was a very friendly and helpful host. Breakfast was next door at a local cafe, with a good range of options and good service. Location was great, right next to free parking and within minutes of the Mdina main gate, plus close to site in Rabat and to lots of restaurants. Room was really spacious and had lots of light.

The bed/pillows weren't really to our liking, but that's a matter a personal preference - so they might be perfect for someone else. We also ran out of hot water in the middle of the 2nd shower every morning, so had to be strategic about that.

I would love to come again. And would recommend to all my friends!

Excellent breakfast in the nearby café - really tasty, super friendly staff and lovely place. Beautiful Casa Azzopardi from inside and outside. Above all - the host Johnny who is fantastic and thinks ahead - providing guide books, plug converter, always responsive and ready to help. Johnny saved us! Please note that Casa Azzopardi is in the middle of the busy old town of Rabat, so you will hear the city (and citizens) sounds.

Don’t miss this one out!

Property was extremely beautiful. This accommodation is certainly also suitable for those with more demanding and exclusive tastes.

Every inch you see is well taken care of and has a thought. There is nothing to complain about.

In the midst of it all

A very nice B&B right at the edge of Rabat as well as Mdina. Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Spacious room. Parking is nearby. Do visit St. Paul catacombs -- very close to Casa Azzopardi -- amazing! Follow Johnny's advice regarding restaurants

Central location equals noisy nights, especially on weekends. So, close the windows if you value sleep over mediterranean way of life ;-)

good space, pretty building, well designed with good quality material from the built to the mattress and pillows. friendly and helpful staff/people who manage the building. breakfast was excellent. location was great for visiting mdina.

Perfect location, gorgeous room

Size and decor of room and kitchen. Lovely bathroom, great shower. Great value as breakfast included by going to the great cafe next door. Really well equipped kitchen and basic provisions. Lovely toiletries. Great hairdryer.

It is right on the street and very noisy at weekends. The Maltese could do with having felt pads on their chairs as, with all the hard floors, the screeching of moving furniture is very annoying.

Great stay in the hart of the Rabat, Malta

In the center of Rabat, close to the entrance of Mdina. 50m walking from free public parking. Old but completely renovated building with big room and small kitchen part. Small bathroom. Breakfast in the restaurant next to the apartment. Great experience.

When traveling by car, Goole wants you to drive through narrow streets, but you can not park in front of the stay. Instead better just find the public parking in front of the Mdina Gate and walk to the property.

Superb

Great location - close to great restaurants for the evening, easy to explore Malta by bus and close to airport. Breakfast is excellent daily at Ta' Doni - had 5 different things over the week and all delicious and coffee amazing. Johnny the host couldn't have been more helpful from arranging airport taxi, suggesting good restaurants and day trips, cleaning midweek and giving us excellent wine tips as well as being readily available via messages for any questions we had. Hot tub was excellent (but set to cool due to the heat) was invaluable for cooling off in the hot weather and the roof terrace was great for extra space to chill out on in private. Air conditioning and fridge were used daily for cooling down us and drinks! Good shower. Able to walk to Gianpula open air night club if you're into clubbing as only 25 mins but if we went again we would probably get a taxi as roads on the way don't have pavements in parts! All in all a great week away and would definitely recommend. Loved it!

It's obviously a roof terrace so you need to be able to handle 2 flights of stairs but we didn't mind that and we valued the privacy/ liked people watching from above and had great views of fireworks as we were there on a public holiday!

Perfect spot, big comfy room

The room is spacious with windows overlooking the street. You can watch people at the cafe where you will have your free breakfast in the morning--at least we could from our corner room. The place is fabulous and you can walk to the catacombs or Mdina easily.

Great place, great owner, wonderful terrace!

Fantastic location, Johnny is so friendly, accommodating and welcoming and great communication. As for the room itself, the best part was the amazing, massive roof terrace with jacuzzi, what a treat. The breakfast at the café next door was also fantastic. Will definitely return!

beautiful apartment, well equipped and the perfect location for the Mdina. The breakfast was also amazing. We would stay here again if returning to the area. Thank you Johnny for being a brilliant host.
