We had cockroaches!! Our condo was clean but when there are bugs it doesn't feel clean... All 3 pocket doors did not work!! The little fenced area outside was weedy and not very inviting?!?! The pool area was great!

Cons:
1. One of the bathrooms was locked when we arrived. We managed to open and it wasn't cleaned and had dirty towels in it.
2. Very little towels. We had 7 people staying in the unit and only had about 5 towels available.
3. The floor was very dirty. It made our feet black after walking on for a bit.
4. There were a few broken items. One of the bed throw pills was split open. The remote in one of the rooms had a broken battery lid.
5. Water pressure was very low. I'm not sure if that is normal for the area or not.

Unit not cleaned at check-in. Bedding & Pillows on the floor, bloody, stained pillows, stained mattresses. Stained , torn sofa (not as pictured). After waiting till almost 7 pm to get in found dead, bloody mouse in master shower , bloody shower curtain (and they just cleaned??) Called 3 weeks prior asking for broken doors to be fixed (as seen in previous reviews) still not fixed. Moldy gross coffee pot. Made numerous calls for Management assistance, several broken promises, most things never addressed or took 2 days to get back to you. Finally asked to be move on 4th day it was so bad, I had to buy sticky pads to keep up with the rampid mice - Have MANY pictures to share - sure wish there was a way to reach the Owner.

This property looks amazing in pictures, but don’t be fooled. It was disgusting!! The floors have not been cleaned possibly ever. There are dirty footprints everywhere that are now stained into the concrete. The master shower has mold all around the bottom and up about 2 feet. It has a steady leak so be prepared for the sound of a leaky faucet. The back bedroom door (pocket door) does not close. The bathroom door (pocket door) in that same bedroom does not close properly either. My 5 year old daughter got locked in there and we had to get her out with a screwdriver we thankfully had on hand. The drawers in the same bedroom dresser are broken and useless. The washer is not level and doesn’t have a front leg so it’s off balance and will scoot itself into the hallway if you’re not around. There were roaches in every room/bathroom and kitchen including inside the dishwasher that does NOT work. The refrigerator ice maker does NOT work. The second to last drawer in the refrigerator is broken. We’re lucky we didn’t shatter the glass shelf when it came crashing down when I opened the door. You will need to bring your own forks or plastic ware for this unit. There was only 4 forks for our party of 10. The unit claims it sleeps 10. That includes the sofa bed which had rat poison under the couch cushions and in the mattress which was covered in rat poop. We cleaned it up but thankfully again we brought an air mattress for our kids to sleep on instead of the sofa bed. House keeping came out the 2nd day to replace the mattress pad, but we still never sat on the sofa again after we discovered the rat poop and poison. We had to take the trash out every night before bed because the rats were getting into the trash every time we left the house. We found at least one entry point under the kitchen sink where the outside clean out is in the rock sidewalk under the kitchen window. The rats ate through the insulation and left their evidence everywhere. Also the outdoor shower does NOT work either. And if you have the water hose on in the front, the water doesn’t work in the house. We had a couple showers interrupted by this until we figured out the problem. We are humiliated and completely disgusted that we had no choice but to subject our family to this filthy rental for a week. Overall we were not happy with the rental nor satisfied with the response we got from the management company.

We loved the layout of the house. All rooms were of good size and all on the same level. Check in process was very easy. It would have been nice if the kitchen had a few more towels provided. Also, there was hardly any silverware, so bring your own.

The place was nice. It was our second time using the cottages of Pirate bay. First day we arrived our AC was out but were very pleased how fast you guys responded and took care of it. Our only issue was when we arrived the Towels were missing from Bathrooms. We later found them when we were going to wash, they were in the washer. They smelled and were forgotten there so we had to re wash them and dry them. Other than that we enjoyed our stay! Thank You so Much!

Need to clean unit better and wash bedspread in master. Saw live roach in bathroom. The king bed was very comfortable but there were no extra blankets, need to make sure enough towels. The unit did not match the pictures.

everything was great EXCEPT the toilet seat in the master bath
was cracked all the way thru and pinched all that used it. we
suggest fixing it before renting again. it's a cheap fix.
other than that it was great place that pleased all women from age 2 to 80!

Okay first off this property was really stinking cute,and we felt like we were at Home. However my concerns are that you may not do a through check after a few stays.
Very disappointed 😞 about a few things.
The back room door won't close
There were small insects in the shower nothing major but a OMG moments
The toilet seat in the master has a cracked from hell which is pinching in the middle of the night that was a no Bueno moment.
The TV in master is not working properly no sound we tried everything possible to make it work. (BTW that room was so nice to sleep in that Bed was amazing)
2 chairs at the dining room are about to break. Not we we were expecting at all. They were wobbly.
Amazing Kitchen with a great amount of pots and pans (you need at least 1 more larger skillet 🍳) other than that it was amazing.
Your staff every time I called was so amazing. This was our first time with you guys and will not be the last. I just wanted to give you those heads up. Because I would rate this 8 out 10.

Place was nice everything like the pictures but the only thing was pet hair and human Hair on everything every pillow and sofas and the ground if u set something down u get hair kinda disappointed couldn't book anywhere else si just put everything on ground we could use .If that wasn't there vacation would of been perfect.

Place was amazing felt like home great location and by pool for kids the only problem is pet hair was all over the sofas and some blankets and the bedroom pillows still had hair from Others kinda wanted to leave but just put them on floor used others.

Cute townhouse with plenty of room. The home was clean and had everything we needed to cook and make drinks. The pool is nice and had two BBQ pits to cook.

This was our first stay in this house, and there were several things that were not up to standards. First, there were only 6 towels in a house for 10 people. The house looked liked it had been cleaned months ago and needed a refresh. Also, we needed to put the kids on the pullout couch and the mattress was terrible and there were no sheets or blankets in the entire house. Luckily I called and Jennifer rushed over and brought sheets and blankets for the kiddos. Very thankful that she helped us at. Shout out to Jennifer!!! Lastly, there was no mattress cover on the king bed in the master bedroom, which I thought was very unsanitary. Overall, this is a nice place and we will be back.

Captain jack sparrow house was really nice and a great location. Pools were fun for the kids and it's a short drive to the beach. If you're planning on staying at this house bring trash bags, paper towels, pots and pans, Tupperware, bowls for mixing or making pancakes and utensils like wooden spoons, tongs, spatial, cooking sheets...etc. Didn't have any, or they weren't good quality.

In one word great! Some online places are not what is shown but this one was as great as indicated. Bathtub in one of the bathrooms overflowed and staff came out almost immediately to fix without questions. Would definitely recommend

We are Group of 7, inclu. 2 kids, 12 & 15. The interior was beautiful, new, whoever decorated it should win an award! Loved it! The furnishing, the linens, the accessories, artwork, even the shower curtains! Also more spacious than I thought. The patio corridor extends around the back to a very small fenced back yard, its surface is crushed rock, not grass, but a dog cd still do his business there if need be. Or, you can walk a dog along a small grassy area alongside parking lot. The bunk beds keep in mind are in an open hallway, so adults can't really stay up if kids are trying to sleep there and go to bed earlier. We transferred ours fr bedroom to bunk beds when we were ready for bed. Or last one up cd sleep there - even if adult technically. Couch has sofa bed too if need. Master bedrm huge! 3 bathrooms! Master and 2nd bedrm have their own private bath, 3rd bedrm and rest of common areas inclu bunks and sofa bed cd use hall bathrm. Location, u have to cross the main road (a tad tricky in golf cart) to get to beach. 15 min in golf cart, 5 min in car. Local grocery store had EVERYTHING we needed! Even BBQ, campfire, & cheaper sand castle supplies. Convenience store Snappy's cd walk to, had ice and a few things as convenience stores do. Only complaint, hot tub at otherwise very nice community pool would not get hot and prop mgmt said they don't control. Wish they had relationship w someone who did control! Then they cd call and turn on the heater! We chose property over others based on look of pool and hot tub and really wanted to enjoy it. Bummer. There is 2nd pool in community also, hidden amongst the interior units. Also, very nice, no heated hot tub there either.

We had a great stay here for Sand Fest. The location was very nice for us - close to pool and just a short drive to parking at the beach. Loved the little patio so we could keep our wet/sandy stuff outside. The only thing that would be a nice improvement would be to have more pots/pans to cook with. Would love to come back!
