Situated in Newry, this charming chalet for £426 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. The Rivers Edge is a luxury listing located in the Peaks Subdivision. This property is a favorite for all seasons. A riverside mountain ski home offering five bedrooms and three levels of living space. Enjoy cozying up to the gas fireplace in the living area or a soak in the hot tub after a long day on the slopes, hiking or golf. Enjoy beautiful views of the river and mountains from the firepit while roasting marshmallows or enjoying a night cap. In the great room, cathedral ceilings provide expansive windows to appreciate the great mountain and river views as well. Just minutes to Sunday River ski and golf resort, hiking and walking trails for all levels, fishing, biking, river floats and more. Wake up to the sounds of the river and views of the mountain from the master suite. On the top level there are two additional bedrooms, one queen and one queen over queen bunk. In the lower level you will find the game room with shuffle board, foos ball and poker table. The lower level is also home to an additional king bedroom as well as the bunk room featuring XL bunks to accommodate adults comfortably. Guests will be staying in a subdivision with paved roads and a paved driveway leading into the 2 car garage at this great rental - no cleaning the car off in the morning before hitting the slopes! Now features an on-demand generator so you never lose power. The damage waiver fee of $150.00 is a non-refundable payment- which covers accidental damage up to the amount of $1500.00. This fee is pressed in the overall costs of the rental at the time of booking. Remember we are in the mountains of Maine and the snow we hope for all year can make travel more difficult. We recommend all or 4 wheel drive in the winter season. The roads and driveway are professionally maintained but guests may find travel difficult without it.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was one of the nicest, most conveniently located ski houses I have ever rented, right off mountain road. It has a big mudroom with lots of cubbies and hooks, ski hangers and even has boot warmers! The kitchen is well appointed with an island and nearby dining table - loved the lazy Susan. There are lots of comfortable bedroom options, gas fireplace, hot tub and cozy atmosphere. It really checked all of the boxes for a top notch ski rental. Our group is already taking about renting again next year.

Our stay was fantastic!! Communication with Julia, the property manager was fantastic! The house is so close to the Mountain and nearby restaurants. It has a great view of the mountain and river from the living room and back deck. This is also quite possibly the most well stocked vacation house we have ever stayed at!!! We would definitely stay again!!

This is our third year going away with 3 familys together. We picked this property was not disappointed at all. This is a great property that is fun for all ages! Everything about the place was well though out and not skimped on. Would definitely recommend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 15 had such an amazing time in this home, which was welcoming the second we opened the door! The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect, the game room provided lots of space and activities, the living room was amazingly beautiful, and the open concept allowed for everyone to be together for meals and games very comfortably. You can tell that the owners have gone out of their way to make this an amazing place. This was the first time our group stayed at a place with a hot tub and we can never go back...after a long day of skiing at Sunday River (a couple of minutes down the road), the hot tub was a great way to relax before evening activities. We were also very amazed at the views of Sunday River behind the home, I caught myself being mesmerized a few times, just staring at the beautiful scenery of the mountain and the river. We definitely look forward to staying again in the future! I'd also like to shoutout whoever is responsible for maintaining/cleaning the home, everything was super clean, well stocked, and all the technology was easy to use. I'd also like to thank the folks managing the property as they were very responsive and great to work with!

We have been renting houses in this area for several years now. I would say this is my favorite property! The house is absolutely beautiful and the location is excellent, right down the street from Sunday River! They have literally thought about everything in this house & the house is laid out so perfectly! There are drawers & closets so you can unpack when you get there, there are plenty of places for skis and snow gear in the entryway, you have access to the two car garage (so nice in the snow), heated floors in the entire house, great basement for guests who want a little bit of a private space, gas fireplace, hot tub, grill, every appliance you could possibly need, and a spectacular view! We had a great time!!!

We had a wonderful weekend trip! The house was equipped with everything you could need and very comfortable. The location on the river, hot tub, and games in the home were enjoyed by the kids and adults. Many restaurants were closed or overwhelmed since they were understaffed due to covid, so I would just plan to bring most of your food and enjoy the gorgeous home!

This property is beautiful!! Lots of neat swimming holes nearby. Anything that you could possibly need is at the home and everything was super clean! The only negative thing I can say is that there is no AC (which wouldn’t be a big deal except for the fact that it was 95 degrees the whole weekend we were there)!

We had so much fun here. 5 minutes from Sunday River and the house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Really nice use of space, plenty of room for all 11 of us. Instructions were clear on use of everything. Hot tub was great! Highly recommend
