Cedar Brook Cabin does have potable, filtered water, which runs through a custom filter retrofitted for our tiny home...this leads to water pressure that can be a little lighter than what you may be used to at home! Have a four-legged friend? They are totally welcome with an additional $100 pet fee. Just let us know if you'll be bringing your pet along when you make your reservation. Cedar Brook Cabin is a non-smoking residence (both inside and out). Any violation of this rule will result in a $500 fine. Per our listing, we have a four person maximum in this house. Unauthorized overnight guests will be charged $500 per person per night. We do not allow parties, events or loud noise. Any violation of these rules will incur a $500 fine. WAIVER & RELEASE of LIABILITY: The owners urge all guests to use Cedar Brook Cabin features, facilities and its grounds in the safest manner. Use of all features, including but not limited to the use of stairs, grounds, lofts and appliances are done at the guests sole risk. Guests understand that they are fully responsible for use of all features and owners shall not be liable to guest for any claims related to illnesses, demands, injuries, damages, or actions arising out of or in connection with the misuse of facilities, natural events/disasters or general accidents on facility grounds. Guests choosing to use the fire pit agree to do so safely and in accordance with house rules. Guests understand owners are not to be held responsible for damaged or lost personal property. Guest hereby holds owners harmless from any/all claims brought against them. Guest understands that by booking a reservation they are effectively agreeing to the terms of this Waiver and Release of Liability. The house is located in New Gloucester, a beautiful bucolic town 30 minutes north of Portland. We are central to so many wonderful "Vacationland" amenities, including southern and mid-coast beaches, Lake Sebago, breweries, cider mills, shopping, amazing restaurants, and the best hiking around...not to mention all the amazing offerings of Portland. On our street alone, we have the wonderful Norumbega Cidery and Big Falls Preserve (a little gem of a waterfall complete with a picnic area).
