The site was well placed, and the caravan was reasonably priced.
The food wasn't great in the bar. I wouldn't recommend it, the staff in the bar weren't overly friendly or helpful. The caravan was cold

Staff very helpful, unit was clean and comfortable. Nice bar area with good options.
Footpath to unit was over a grass area, in wet weather this caused an issue. If a footpath of a concrete or wooden construction was placed it would eliminate the issue.

It was located to where we needed to be
It was cold - too many vents in the caravan and nowhere to park the car easily so car got covered in mud

Very clean. Plenty of kitchen crocks and utensils.

Brilliant value for money, clean and welcoming
Could get very cold throughout the night even with heating on and the front door lock was very hard to open.

The caravan was right on the edge of a lovely pond. Squirrels and ducks everywhere.
The WiFi was really poor even after paying for it.. the money was refunded as didn’t work for us.

It was cosy clean and comfortable, fab value for money
The caravan smelt quite damp inside when we first arrived. Dated decor, and old fashioned gas fire was the main heating element, it was difficult to work.

Poor facilities the holiday park

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely club on site which also served hot food and was a lovely place to enjoy your evening
There was nothing really to complain about if anything due to the time of year Oct the grass did need cutting as walking through it to get to your caravan your feet got wet.

Entertainment in the boathouse was good. Staff friendly.
The fact that we had no gas for cooking and no hot water for showers for 2.5 days. From what we were told the gas bill had not been paid on time for the whole site. Although the boathouse did provide us with a free evening meal 1st evening Chips sausages beans mushy peas southern fried chicken and pizza. Fast food menu, not a lot of choice for a gluten free person, 2nd night curry
Caravan needs a little TLC .it did put a damper on our mini break .
Worse holiday we have had in the 16 years we have been together.

Quiet site, reasonably priced. Comfortable bed in caravan. Site clean and straight forward walk to the town and beach. The club had realistic prices and although we didn't eat the food we saw people eating and it looked good and plenty.
Nice play area for the little ones. Shower temperature was easy to regulate, heating in caravan good too.
The caravan wasn't what I was expecting, nothing like any of the pictures we chose mobile home 6 which was the dearer option but if the caravan we were given is the dearer 1 then I dread to think what the cheaper 1s were like. The caravan was mostly clean but could do with abit of a deeper clean, kitchen cupboard doors felt greasy and grimy. Carpet wasn't the cleanest and needed a good hoover.
The worst thing is they need more paths to the caravans, it rained really heavy for over several hours and you had to walk over the wet grass.
TV was very small, so not very enjoyable to watch. It says on booking.com wifi in all areas but only in club.

Nice quiet site. Very clean van.
1) Reception were not aware of our booking it took them about 30 minutes to sort a caravan for us. There were 3 other bookings with Hoseason in the same predicament. No appology from reception staff, just a "it's a 3rd party booking, not our fault"
2) We were only told to take towels, tea towels and toilet rolls, but when we arrived we were told we should also have brought washing up materials with us, apparently they have changed their policy. I did eventually manage to get them to provide some.
3) the info on Booking.com said WIFI was free throughout. This is incorrect and we ended up paying £20. WIFI was also poor. Again reception's response when I told them on checking out "It's a 3rd party, not us. You should have come and told us we would have provided you with a phone number to call."
We will not be back, despite it being a nice quiet site.

Very clean friendly staff lovely.great fun had a good time.thought it was lovely member of staff danced with residents on there own.
Sunday roast needs to be improved as we waited nearly two hours to receive anything.even tho it was empty in there.to be told they wernt told we were waiting.when it arrived it didn't have any potatoes so had to go back again.altho they did offer a free drink and desert for there mess up.bless them.think there was just a lot of confusion in the kitchen. But will say the other days meals was fantastic and quick.

Lakeside was very nice and quiet, clean
The access to caravan meant you needed to walk through grass cuttings

The location was lovely nice and quiet
We purchased 48 hours Internet which was quite expensive and it was cut off around 10 hours early.
Lots of bird poop on car but obviously that can't be helped

Caravan and value for money
Poor communication from staff wasn't able to order food yet others in the club was rather than take my order and tell be it will be 30 mintues wait try just stopped the orders completely at half 6 then started taking order again at half 7.
Site is down a long road away for any local shops having older relations small children and no car it was difficult.
Local taxis was no existent when I did get a taxi it charged me £12 for 1.3 mile to local tesco around the corner. Having a older relative means I had no choice.

The beach was close and we could walk to all the amenities. Very quiet area and kids liked the ducks walking around. Launderette on sight so could do washing before leaving. A nice games room for the kids in the club.
Not enough entertainment for the kids in the club. Bingo every night and the swimming pools were not available.
6.0
Location was fine. Close to town, swimming pool and park. All within walking distance.
Children’s play area needs more added very little in play area.
7.0
Location was great
Caravan was out dated, stained and beds could do with new mattresses
