Within walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, shopping, and parks. Perfect for family vacations, relocation services, corporate housing or a group getaway. The Space: We offer an extremely comfortable home for your family or friends. Our home includes dining room, cozy living room, 4 BD--equipped with 3 Queen beds, 1 King Bed and 2 Twin Beds!. Minutes from local restaurants, parks and the historic downtown Independence. Easy access to major highways, downtown KC, shopping and all of KC's attractions. It is also WIFI equipped and has a flat screen ROKU TV with access to your favorite streaming channels with your own login. The well appointed kitchen is equipped with appliances, pots, pans, toaster, coffee maker, blender and an abundance of spices for cooking your favorite meals. Your perfect stay is our first priority and we are available if you need us, but offer you complete privacy as well. We accommodate both long term and short term rentals. For added security, this property is equipped with an outdoor security camera system located at the entrance of the home. Guest Access: The home is all yours. You have your own entrance, parking, and full reign of the space. You will enter the home using a door equipped with keyless entry (code provided before check in) which adds ease and flexibility to check in and check out. Getting Around: Uber/Lyft are your best bet. Other Things to Note: HOUSE RULES: No Smoking Inside, NO PARTIES. No Gatherings. Be kind to the neighbors. Do not block their parking spots/driveways. If you BREAK THE NO PARTY RULE, you will be asked to leave and forfeit your rent. We have the right to assess a $500 fine if these rules are violated. This home is in a residential neighborhood so please observe the quiet times— 10:00pm to 7:00am. Interaction with Guests: You are welcome to contact us with questions through the Airbnb app should anything come up during your stay— we are not far away.. but we do not interact directly with guests unless it’s necessary. We make sure you feel like you're in your home-away-from-home, free of intrusion.

Pictures were a little misleading. The neighborhood was a little sketchy. I wish i would have researched the area better. Otherwise it was clean and served our needs.

What are the chances both the washer and dryer are broken at the same time and both the owner and the rental agency don't know about it? Slow draining tubs. Wobbly chairs. Place would be great with a little less neglect.

Very nice place with an outside space to enjoy. It provided all basic needs for comfort.
Our experience was flawed by Mother Nature! A big storm knocked out electricity and limbs from trees were everywhere. It would have been helpful to have had a couple of flashlights, maybe some battery powered candles since the bathrooms don’t have windows. A battery powered fan would have been special. Since it was summer and light outside it wasn’t to bad. If it had been winter the long time for darkness would have been much more difficult for us

This home is overall a nice stay. Spacious with plenty of beds. The home is an older home that has been updated, so there are some quirks - not quite as up-to-date as the photos show, but still very functional. The home could benefit from a deep clean ie. window seals cleaned, closets and cabinets organized instead of items hap-hazardly about, dusting the upper corners in rooms, and the deck area cleaned. The main area, bathrooms, and bedrooms were clean and maintained.
Yes the dog next door was intimidating however he appeared to be a large chocolate lab and wanted to play and have attention from somebody new.
Location was very convenient to Arrowhead, just 2 miles away. There was a Wal-Mart and food places down the road. But call me the country mouse coming to the big city, the area made you cautious when about, as a person should probably always be. We had no issues when about though.

Overall a great experience. There is a dog next door that intimidated some of the house guests. The cookware was limited but we made do. Larger skillets would have been nice. There is no dishwasher either. While it is an older home it had character. We couldn’t get the dining room light to turn off. Parking is also limited. Overall a great value.

Walking in would think the place is a lot smaller but it was a good size. The place is a little older but clean and has all the basic needs in the place. Was able to communicate with the property manager throughout.

Quirky older house that has been nicely remodeled with plenty of space. We were in town for a dog show with 4 people and 7 large dogs so having lots of room was paramount. I could see us staying there again next year.

The place was fine, just fine. We were a group of ten coming in on a Wednesday and one more arriving on Friday. We asked for an early check in, (earlier than 4pm) as the group of ten was landing at the local airport at 10am. Tyler told me the only option for early check in would be to contact him the day of check in and he works decide then. Ten people is a lot to wander aimlessly for 6 hours. Although this answer was not satisfactory, we felt we didn’t have another choice. The day of check-in, a series of back-and-forth messages ended with Tyler telling us at 3:45 PM that we could check in. All of the communications were impersonal.
Our only other complaint was that the listing showed six bedrooms and it said sleeps 12. There are only five bedrooms and only sleeps 10. The one person who arrived on Friday needed to get a hotel room.
The house itself was fine, nothing special and not as nice as the pictures look.
